It's absolutely impossible to find this kind of flannel nightgown in the stores. I live in the mid-Atlantic, and the winters are cold. Do I want a lightweight nightgown that stops just below the knee and has 3/4 sleeves? Of course not. This nightgown is exactly what I wanted. Generously sized, I could have probably been fine with a small rather than the medium, but who wants a nightgown to be tight. And then there are the pockets! Wonder of wonders. I just placed an order for two more. Thank you, LLBean.

This is a great heavy duty nightgown for very cold nights. If you need warmth this is it!!

I love this product! I have one of every color combination, in fact, I have 2 in the black & red.. I had already purchased one & my Granddaughter surprised me with one for Chanukah! One could NEVER have enough!!!

I bought 2 this year because last year they were out. My wife loves them!! She said that the only thing that would make them better is pockets. Sure enough POCKETS!!!!!

The Women's Scotch plaid flannel nightgown is the BEST buy in a nightgown I have experienced. It's warmer than most and beautiful in purple and red. Moreover, it has two side pockets for oh, so many things, mostly unused tissues. The simple straight design and the ankle length are perfect for walking comfort. I now wear this nightgown more than all my other flannel ones.. Thanks, L. L. Bean.

This is a beautiful flannel and the colors are a deep rich plaid. It is a heavier flannel so will be excellent for a cold winter night.

Soft, warm and cuddly. It runs big so I returned XL to a Medium, which fits perfect. I also purchased one for my sister and she loves it too and highly recommend it.

Great, comfy, exceedingly soft. Really like the colorful plaid. Replacing a much older flannel nightgown. We were disappointed that the Bean online store was out of flannel nightgowns for a long time, and very happy to have this one back-- the petite size is perfect in the arm length.

Very generous sizing.perhaps buy a size smaller than usual. I use it as a robe so appreciate the pockets too.
