This new version of the LL Bean classic is less elegant than the original, but the flannel is even softer, thicker, and warmer. The pockets are a welcome practical addition. The fit is more than generous and fits loosely as I'd hoped it would. I have a condition which makes most clothing painful to wear, so I wear these gowns day and night in cold weather when at home. I am also an athlete and appreciate the freedom of movement which this gown provides. I have at least one in almost every color and only regret that I didn't purchase the beautiful blue/green version!

Cozy, soft, and warm. I'm about 5'1" and 125lb and petite XS fits great.

The nightgown was purchased as a gift. The recipient wrote, "5 stars for me. I am living in this! It's super cozy and soft. I'm 5'4" and ordered a S, which fits exactly right. There's no room for shrinkage in the dryer, though, so I will be air drying. P.S. I love the pockets."

This is the best nightgown for sleeping and spending a cold winter day lounging!

Plenty of fabric to keep me wrapped up in warmth. That's why I got a size large. I also purchased the red plaid tunic shirt to wear over the nightgown.

I like this nightgown very much, however I cannot help comparing it to an LL Bean flannel I already have, which is about 20 years old and still going strong. The weight and thickness of the material used in the new one is than half that t of the older gown. I doubt the new gown will last as long as the old one. Considering the price, I was disappointed tat you did not give me a heads up and label it as "light weight flannel".

Purchased this in hopes it would not be overwhelming. Although I'm very short, I'm not tripping on the length of this gown. It's roomy, soft and warm. Ht: 4'11", 128 lbs, Size large. California BayArea.

The softness and weight of the flannel is perfect. So is the fit. I love everything about this nightgown.

The Size chart does NOT cite the measurements of the nightgown! I dislike it when vendors do this, they anticipate how I wear my clothing and are always wrong. I ordered a small and I DROWNED in it, far far too large. I am 5' 7", around 140 (between 135 - 140), and even the extra small is very roomy... But it is very soft, very warm (10 outside now, much colder with windchill), and has POCKETS! Perfect for bitter cold nights.

LOVE IT! As does my dog! He pulled it off the end of the bed and pushed it under the bed to sleep on.

This nightgown is exactly what I was looking for, to be comfortable on Illinois cold winter nights. The length is long and I had to return the regular length and get a petite size, which is now perfect for my 5' height. The style is generous and I went down a size from what I would normally order from LL Bean. I love the green plaid. There have been early mornings when I have a Zoom meeting, still in my nightgown and I look appropriately dressed on the screen, cozy and sipping my coffee.
