This sweatshirt is a beautiful color and fit well through shoulders, sleeves and body. However, the binding at the bottom flares out a bit to flatter a curvy shape. I am an apple shaped woman with slim hips. This was very unflattering on me. Sadly, I returned this item.

I love the fit and look of this sweatshirt, but after only 2-3 washings there are small holes in the front quilted area. This sweatshirt is very comfortable and looks very nice, but it doesn't hold up. I bought both full zip and quarter zip and had the same problem on both. Not up to LL Bean standards. I would buy again if the fabric was improved.

I received this as a gift a year ago. I love the color, weight, and fit of this jacket but it is not reflective of LL Bean's typical standard of quality. Jackets with zippers are washed inside out and typically spared from the dryer. Within months, the seams on this jacket and the front quilted placket began to give out. I couldn't return it since it was a gift, but wanted to tell other shoppers that it won't last long!

I ordered this 8-14-24. Within a year of purchase, the front seams on either side of the zipper had abraded, showing a bright green layer under the super thin outer quilted cotton layer. Very disappointed! This sweatshirt didn't receive any unusual wear. I'm writing this review now because I'm finally looking to replace this sweatshirt, and I thought LL Bean should know about this defective product.

It is a good buying process, but the number of emails requesting surveys afterwards are ridiculous. Just about makes you want to shop someplace with Land's End so you do not have to deal with the barrage. Seriously, just stop already!!!!

I have purchases multiple different colors of the same jacket. I love the jacket but it continues to get tiny holes near the zipper or on either side of the zipper. Tiny holes in the middle of the fabric. I saw this jacket on ebay and if you look closely the same tiny holes. I am shocked more people haven't complained about this problem.

I bought this in August, but I live in North Carolina, so I only started wearing it in October or so. I like the jacket, but it really does pill a lot! I would like to return it for something else.

Very disappointed you don't have the women's quilted full-zip sweatshirt in tall sizes this year (2025-2026).

I bought two of these sweatshirts and unfortunately after only a few wearings the front panels developed holes, black holes. Very unsightly. Huge waste of money. Think some compensation is in order.

I bought this jacket 10/22/2024 and have worn it maybe 10-15 times since it faded so badly after the first few washes ( delicate and tumble low) . I did not cause the fading since one of the picture I included is of a BR polo that retained its dark navy blue color that I washed the same way. I recently discovered tear in the jacket today . No idea how this happened since I rarely wear this jacket and it has not caught on anything . LL Bean used to be great but they are clearing using low quality manufacturing to make their clothes . Do not buy!

Used to love this sweatshirt. But the sleeves and side panels are 51% polyester and they PILL HORRIBLY after wearing several times. Bad quality.

My hubs bought me two of them....didn't even come out of the shipping bag before I was taping it up to return. Whoever thought that a woman would want a knit top with quilting that will rip in that hideous dirty pink color needs to get another job. I don't know how it fit since I never removed it from the bag....

After looking for a full-zip sweatshirt that did not have a hood, I was excited to find the L.L.Bean Quilted Full-Zip Sweatshirt. You can imagine my surprise and disappointment when, after only 6 weeks of wear, the underarms pilled. I would not recommend this sweatshirt.

Unfortunately this garment was manufactured in Asia and has a strong chemical smell! This is a problem with a lot of garments made in Asian countries.

I thought I had found the perfect full zip sweatshirts, classy and L.L. Bean quality. I bought three different colors: navy, plum, and rustic purple. All three were worn regularly and washed maybe twice, on delicate, with the zippers closed, and hung to dry. Yet all three of them had obvious holes in the front quilting after only two months. The purple one had horrible pilling under both arms.
I couldn't believe the disparity between the price and the quality. I've never had clothes that started out so nice fall apart so fast. Makes me hesitate to buy anything else from L.L. Bean, unfortunately.

I have been considering getting this jacket for some time and finally took the leap. However, I am not happy that the sale price was decreased by $20 right after receiving it!

This sweatshirt is NOT at all the quality I expected it to be. I have two and both are getting small holes in the fabric along the inner sleeves and along the cording. The actual construction is fine, but the fabric is poor quality. I used to depend on LL. Bean for comfort and quality, but am VERY disappointed. I am trying to cover the area that is literally coming apart with some embroidery floss (which will launder better than the original).

I will be sending this item back! Within 2 weeks of wearing it, the material along the zipper near the pockets is ripping. The quilted pattern is not holding up. Very disappointing since I like the size, color, and fit.

I loved this sweatshirt when I tried it on. The color is pretty. It is so warm and fit perfect. But it got a hole in it the very first time I wore it.

This pills after a few washes. I thought this would've been higher quality given the price.

Too big, too boxy, not at all a shape that I want to wear. Going back.

I love the color and the style, I was disappointed in the thinnest of the fabric. It's much thinner than last years. Not warm at all. The wind goes right through it. I wanted other colors but I won't spend that much money when the fabric is so cheap.

After wearing it for one season & not everyday small holes started in the outer layer. Beneath the thin quilting material it appears to be some kind of black backing. I had purchased the color "Larkspur" so the black backing showed. The style of the jacket is great. Sorry to say the clothing of LL Bean has gone way down over the last few years.

I've worn this maybe about 10 times and I only wear it at work (a desk job). The elbows are almost completely worn out. At $90 a sweatshirt (paid extra for company embroidery), I would expect this to last years, not months. This was the first article of clothing I purchased and I don't think I will be purchasing anything else in the future. It's too expensive to not last.
