This flannel is very comfortable and nice colors. I usually buy a large but I am well endowed on the top so sometimes xl is a better fit. I can wear another shirt underneath and wear this as a light jacket.

This shirt is the softest flannel shirt I have ever owned. It's warm, comfy and just perfect.

I've had this shirt for about a year, and it has become a favorite when the air turns chilly. It's well made, the flannel is beautiful (navy/white), and the length is just right - hits upper thighs. I'm ordering a 2nd one today.

I tried to find a flannel shirt at L.L. Beans competitors to no avail. They are thin and not very soft. This shirt is great quality, super soft and just the correct weight to keep you warm in winter. It is also very flattering.

For flannel, this is a flattering fit. Not too bulky, not too tight. This is my "go to" for casual cool weather. As always, quality is great...good value for the price.

I love this shirt. I bought a size larger than I usually wear because I like to wear layers under flannel. It's perfect for that. I love that it is not a thin flannel. It's warm and cozy and well made.

I was trying to buy a second, but was disappointed to read that as a petite I was not able to purchase the the mariner blue pattern.

I live in flannel shirts 3 seasons of the year and have a large assortment. My favorites are all Bean and another online seller. This shirt is my new favorite! It is heavy flannel. Very soft and has a roomy fit, but is not completely overwhelming. I wear a long underwear top underneath which gives me plenty of room. If you want a less roomy shirt I would size down. This shirt is extremely cozy and the color is lovely. Hope to buy one more before the end of the season.

I ordered a Med and had to exchange for small. I'm wearing it over a long sleeve cotton tee and it looks fabulous with jeans and boots or sneakers. Very soft and just the right level of warmth, definitely not too heavy or too light. Although it's advertised as a tunic, I would have preferred another inch or two in length to cover the inseam of my jeans. Over all I'm very happy I have this shirt in the blue buffalo checks and would definitely buy in another color. just no black or red please.

I love this shirt so much. It feels like a good quality flannel. It is super soft and warm and a great fit. The length is just right, not too long like most tunics, and it flatters my imperfect midsection. I have it in bright navy and royal plum and both are beautiful. Very classy flannel.

I purchased the amber tunic and it was very flattering both in fit and style. It is the softest and sturdiest flannel I've ever had. Took a trip through the Rockies in a snowstorm and this shirt kept me very warm and was very attractive.

It's been a while since I've had a flannel. This one is wonderful! My favorite feature is the arm length of the petite size! I think the shirt fits true to size. My bust measurement is ~44" and I have plenty of room to move - very relaxed fit. Exactly what I was looking for in a flannel! I already washed and dried it, and it washed up wonderfully. I didn't notice any shrinkage and it came out wrinkle free. I didn't notice an appreciable difference in the length of this tunic vs the Scotch Plaid Shirt Women's Petite.

I have several flannel shirts, but this is my absolute favorite. As soon as I put it on, I ordered another one. So warm and cozy!

This flannel is very comfortable and washes up nicely too. I usually wear a lg/xl in most tops. I thought it ran a little on the large side but worked great with t shirt or Henley with it. Will definitely be purchasing another LL Bean flannel soon.

I bought a flannel very similar to this a couple decades ago at an open market and since then I have been checking as many other flannel shirts as possible looking for one with the same hand. Finally, I found this organic flannel shirt. I bought this and a Scotch plaid and am sending back the Scotch plaid. This shirt feels so luxurious compared to all others. LLBean if you make this shirt as a zippered hoodie in plus size I will swear my allegiance to you forever!!! I buy all my flannel shirts oversized so I can't really comment on the fit.
