I want to like this robe. My last robe had lasted my years! My husband and I ordered these for each other for Valentine's Day with monogrammed initials. I'm a daily robe wearer and there are already multiple strings coming out of it; the quality seems lacking. The monogram isn't clean on either of our robes. Unfortunately not worth the money in my opinion.

Quality greatly diminished. Compared to Robe from 2 years ago, much LESS PLUSH; thinner and even a bit shy on length. Price unchanged.

It seems very warm and soft. I had to return it because it was too shapeless for my wife. It also arrived without a belt.

There was a sticky label right across the fabric that left glue residue in fabric , didn't think I needed to open bag and inspect for damage for the price payed for item.

wasn't what I expected. pretty thin actually, thought it would have been heavier/thicker more warmth. Only tried it on did not wear it or even take the tag off. It is on it's way back to you now.

Looks as if it SHOULD be warm enough. But it's not. I've had warmer robes. Should of stuck with what I had previously from my other favorite store. Doesn't keep the warm in, doesn't really hug the body to get instant warmth. I have to make sure it's layered because by itself, it's just another robe. Certainly not 'wicked' warm

This was advertised as "plush" - it really is flimsy- I put it on and it just hung- not a cozy robe for winter -and not up to Bean's standard!

Returned it immediately. The robe is too heavy and in no way flattering. Other reviewers were correct about the poor quality of the fabric. Seems like it shouldn't be too difficult to design a cozy, practical, well made robe which doesn't make you look like a bed. Now that you have done a great job of being inclusive with the diversity of your models, perhaps it's time to include some older designers who are familiar with real people.

Originally bought this back in October of 2020 and loved it. Unfortunately I forgot on the second washing that it had to be tumble dried with no heat, so it came out of the drier with the Sherpa trim matted with the Admiral Blue color, as well as pilling on the body. My fault, as it was perfect after the first wash. This may also be the reason for some of the complaints I saw when looking at recent reviews. I decided to buy a Dusty Blue replacement this February since the Admiral Blue color was not available, and I am very disappointed. The material and dimensions have changed. The material, while still soft, is less dense so that individual rows are now visible, and it doesn't feel as cozy. The back panel is 2 inches smaller at the hem, with the hem on the front panels each about 1/2 inch smaller. This results in the gown coming open whenever I sit down. I've taken the trouble to write this in the hope that LL Bean will take action to bring back the original product was definitely a 5+

The robe is warm and cozy, for sure. I love having a hood. BUT, there are some design issues. I first ordered a large which was VERY large and the front panels went around to the back. The medium front panels are very skimpy. When I sit down, the robe gaps open. The actual width of the panels is fine IF the fabric isn't plush. Also, the sleeves are short. In spite of these issues I'm sticking with the robe because it's warm, and most importantly, because it was a gift from my husband. But I'm wondering when I'll feel ok about replacing this robe. Sorry I can't rank it higher--I'm just disappointed.

It is very plush. But it is not as generous around the hips as other robes and falls open when I sit giving it no warmth value. I ordered the same size I usually order. Also it would be nice to add a button near the neck for added fit and warmth.

I am sorry but not in love with this robe. Sizing seems all wrong. I am 5'2" and seems to short and too wide. Armpits too wide. Very disappointing.

Waited a year to receive this robe due to it selling out quickly last year. Have not laundered yet and there are multiple tears in the seams. I am not rough on clothing. Would not recommend.

I'm not happy with this robe at all. It's only fleece and it's double the price of what fleece is worth and it's full of fibers and sheds everywhere. It was a gift for my mother and I got her the berry color and it leaves a ton of dark fleece all over her white bedspread if she sits on her bed. It's light and soft but this is poor quality..I have lots of other fleece robes and blankets and they never do this. Not good quality, not a good value

I was very excited to receive this robe as a gift. It is very soft and everything about it I loved. I have owned it a month now and there are three rips in the back and the right front pocket is completely ripped. I am hoping we are able to get a new one but I am not sure I will get this exact one again. I washed on delicate and by itself, never put in the dryer. I am disappointed in the quality.

I purchased this robe as a Christmas present for my Mom and the sleeves were not the same length...the right arm was longer than the left arm. The left sleeve stopped short of her wrist and the right sleeve went mid-way down her hand. This is the first time that I've seen a defect like this in an LL Bean product. We returned the robe, and I purchased a robe from a different vendor.

I purchased this robe to replace a Bean robe that I received as a gift probably 10+ years ago--hooded fleece lined robe made from sweatshirt type material. Bleach stained from last year's pandemic cleaning. This plush robe is not a good replacement. Rather like wearing a cheap shag rug. Shiny slick material that just feels icky. Not as warm. In process of returning for an exchange. Asked for the men's rugby robe, which is similar to my old robe. Hope they have one in stock.

This is the third of this robe I've ordered. They all were the same color and two the same size. There was no bleeding of color, but all three were around 5 inches shorter than the one I received as a gift about year and half ago. I probably will look elsewhere the next time I order one as a gift.

The skirt of this robe is badly cut. It needs to be more generous to accommodate walking.

A beautiful, warm robe. Unfortunately after one wearing I noticed many threads emerging from seams and the hem. It appeared to be unraveling of the non selvage edge of the fabric and I decided it was best for me to return. The construction just wasn't up to par.

I'e always loved everything I've purchased from Bean, until now. If the color wasn't called plum I would say it was a not so pretty brown. I loved the idea or a comfy, warm hood but the weight of it pulls the robe open at the collar. It's advertised as wicked plush but it's not. It's an okay robe. I'm disappointed in it and the price I paid for it.
