Absolutely the warmest. The hood can wrap around your neck or great for taking dog out first thing in am. Washed great. I'm thin and tall but the sleeves and length were good. Definitely recommend for this winter or a great gift for holidays.

It's everything Bean promised. Impossibly lush and warm. Love it love it LOVE IT!!! Be aware, though, that it's very big and heavy. Maybe not what you want in Key West, but in the mountains of the northeast where I live and play, nothing could be more practical.

I brought this robe as a gift for my self last winter. It was the very best thing that I brought. It's warm, soft, it washes great. An the hood is perfect. Sometimes my head get cold an I put the hood on an my head is nice an warm. I just love this robe. I order the large because I wanted to wrap around me an it goes to my ankles. Just perfect. What a treat! This robe is soft on both the outside and inside feeling plush against your skin. The weight will keep you warm on cold winter mornings. What makes this robe perfect is for me is the length. As a small person, 4'11", 104 lbs., I ordered a petite small and it comes to my ankles. I don't trip on it at all. I ordered a small with the intent of wearing a sweatshirt and sweatpants when I'm freezing. If you plan to wear lighter pjs or nothing underneath, you may want to go with the X-small.

I've been looking for that luxury robe that feels like a warm hug yet let's you breathe. This is it. It's thick yet floats along your skin. Petite is perfect, I'm 5feet 3 and a half inches, short torso and long legs, and this is the robe I don't trip over when i go upstairs.

I was given a plush robe, L.L. Bean, by my sister, three years ago when I was very sick. She had one and she said she wears it every night when she gets home from work. I have found that I do the same. The two robes I have recently purchased: I bought for one friend who is going through chemotherapy and another friend who is going through a traumatic family situation. They both found the robe to be the same. Very comforting to the touch and senses to wear these plush robes. Thank you, L.L. Bean. I hope you never discontinue them.
