Love the texture, thickness and feel of this shirt. Washes well and I don't even have to iron right out of the dryer! Love it!

I bought 4 of these shirts - two last year and two this year. I call them my winter wardrobe. Good with or without a tank. Love the colors, roominess, and warmth.

LL Bean scotch plaid flannels are the only flannels to own! Soft and well made. Hold up for years.
I wish there was more of a color selection....
Black Watch is my all time favorite, followed by the Stewart Plaids.... wish you would offer the dress Stewart (white) and the muted Stewart (tan) along with bringing back the Buchanan which has very nice, warm yellow in it.
Those sell out right away and you take forever bringing them back.
I normally wear a medium but buy the small in these shirts as they tend to run a size bigger.
Cozy, cozy, cozy. A must have!

When Fall comes around, I think flannel and Bean flannel in particular. I love the colors, classic patterns, and the quality. I usually try a new plaid each year, while I continue to wear my previous purchases for years. There are other interesting flannels out there, but I keep coming back to Bean.

Nice shirt, the fabric has a good feel to it. The thing is, don't expect it to shrink! I bought 2 for me & 2 for my mom & they are too large. I bought 1 size up so we could wear as a second layer. My mistake as I shouldn't have expected them to shrink enough. Can't return as have already been washed. Other than that, I would recommend it!

This shirt has some fit for the waist yet enough room to fall smoothly over hips for my pear shape with all buttons closed! Soft and washed well.

This is a really nice shirt that lives up to LLBean standards, IMHO. I may get another one. The relaxed fit is good for wearing the shirt over another layer. I purchased the XS; I am 5'4", 112#, and it's a good fit for me. I just returned from a trip to the Andes and used it a lot. Thanks, Bean.

Colors are rich and the flannel is thick and soft. I bought a size up because I wanted to fit over other shirts. Seems true to size to me. Would buy again, and will likely get other colors in the future.

I purchased flannel shirts for myself - female and my husband and am very happy with the quality of the fabric, style but at this price the plaids should match where front and back of the shirt meet.
Didn't prompt me to return them but it is a defect in the stitching of the shirt and should be addressed.

If I could, I would buy several of these. Besides a perfect fit (PL), it is soft and so, so comfortable. Perfect for a cool fall day or a cold winter one.

I have bought LL Bean flannel shirts for my husband for years but never for myself. I love the weight of the fabric as well as the relaxed fit. I wear them as a jacket over a turtleneck or blouse, or under a sweater for extra warmth. I was so pleased with this product I have bought 3 different plaids this season.

Absolutely LOVE these shirts. They're my first LLBean flannel, and I am so impressed with how soft they are and how well they wash! I'm 5'3, about 130lbs and went with a medium. I can comfortably wear these with leggings and the shirt covers me enough without feeling like I'm swimming in the sleeves. They're super breathable and comfortable, can't suggest them enough!

My family has multiple items cut from every Portuguese made Scottish Plaid flannel Bean has offered over the last several years. All Bean Portuguese Scottish Plaid is NOT created equal. For us, we have found that Black Stewart and Stewart Victoria are problematic. Black Stewart turns stiff--irrespective of how much fabric softener you dump in the rinse cycle. Stewart Victoria wears out more quickly; it is one of the thinest of Bean's Scottish flannels. When I wash the items, I use cold water and Woolite for Dark Colors. I put Downy fabric softener in the rinse cycle. I never put Beans Scottish Plaid flannel shirts, pajamas, gowns or sheets in the dryer for more than a couple of minutes--and then only to shake out the wrinkles. Any 100 percent cotton flannel material will shrink if you leave it in the dryer for very long. The moment the flannel items start to steam a bit, I pull them out wet and hang them on plastic hangers or an indoor clothes line. From early spring to fall, I put flannel items on an outdoor line in a shady area. The wind removes what few wrinkles there are. We have also found we can extend the beauty of these shirts by wearing a color coordinated henley underneath, thus not having to wash them as much. For the Black Stewart shirts, we simply have them organically dry cleaned and request "no press." Bean has always taken back any item we ultimately find unsatisfactory--no postage due, Bean card or not. Each autumn we are excited to see what patterns Bean is offering for that particular year. Obviously, we love these Scottish flannels; they are both strikingly beautiful and historically accurate. Each centuries old Scottish clan had its own distinctive, intricate plaid. Well, all was accurate with the Bean Scottish Plaids until this season. LOL. Bean did insert a Bean of Freeport Hunting into the collection. The pattern was well thought out and in keeping with the beauty of the rest of the Scottish Plaid designs. Thanks Bean!

I actually got two of these shirts - the Napier plaid (very vivid deeper blues and white)and one in the Wallace plaid. Both shirts are beautiful and I've had many compliments on them.
These are relaxed fit, which fit me very well with or without a light shirt underneath. (The fitted are too snug around my bottom.)
The pocket is well placed and deep enough to place things in.
The sleeves are a great length.
They wash really well (I wash them in cold, permanent press cycle and then dry them in a cooler dryer for 30 minutes and hang them to completely finish drying. They look new each time I put them on.)
I have one of these shirts from 8 years ago in the Prince Charles Edward plaid that is still one of my favorite flannels. It is not as vibrant as it once was but still looks very good. I was concerned the quality wouldn't be as good in these new shirts but am Very pleased with them and expect them to last me for a long time to come.
