I actually ordered the Bean Hunting plaid not the Scotch plaid as shown here. I love the darker color with the red in it. It fits loose enough which I like.

There is no need to size up or down with this flannel shirt. Everything about it is perfect! The fabric is so warm and cozy and has just the right amount of wiggle room that you would expect from this fall & winter staple. I highly recommend them!

This shirt is comfortable and warm in the cold Asheville NC weather. It has become s staple around the house and for running errands.

I love the fit, I love how soft it is, and I love the plaid. Pretty much couldn't love it anymore than I do.

I wear this flannel the most out of all of mine because of how soft it is. The colors are vibrant and look great! Not your ordinary flannel, the material is excellent.

This is my 4th relaxed flannel shirt from LLBean and I love it. True to size, consistent in fit this is a comfortable warm cozy shirt that can easily be worn open as a jacket or closed. Colors are saturated and do not fade in the wash. There is some shrinkage in length and body but it is minimal. I could easily buy the 1x but prefer the larger size to wear over a tee or turtleneck. You will not be disappointed in this purchase. Highly recommend

I've had my eye on the Grey Stewart plaid in this shirt for at least two years but it sold out when it first caught my eye, and later I hesitated because of the green in the plaid that's not obvious online. It's in my closet now though, and looks and feels great w/my gray heather, paperwhite, and red waffle knit henleys. I just wish I had bought it back when it still had a button-down collar like my other three.

Thick, high quality flannel. Fits perfectly. Warm and comfortable.

Washes up great with very little wrinkles. Soft and comfortable and true to size. Like the fact it only has one pocket and isn't bulky. May buy another in another color since this one is so nice! I highly recommend the shirt.

The shirt is great for layering. I live in a cold climate and we keep the temperature in the house lower so layers are especially important. The shirt works great with turtle neck shirts.

Some of the slimmer members of my family use the relaxed version of this item as a "boyfriend shirt." The look is very cute. Underneath they wear a matching Bean henley, and a braided Bean leather belt coupled with a pair of Bean's classic corduroy pants. If they want a more fitted look, the slightly fitted version has worked out well. It easily tucks into pants without any excess material to bunch up and add bulk. Hope this helps.

Cozy and stylish, just what I was looking for. Quality great and pocket matched! I wear it with a tee shirt underneath and the fit is just fine. Washes well in cold water, light dryer.

Ordered my first LL Bean Flannel shirt after ordering several for my husband over the years. Ordered Grey Stewart and I received so many compliments at work. All the ladies were running their hands over the fabric too and noticed how warm and soft it was. I did not over heat either. I ordered 3 for my daughter as well. They run a little large. So I think I'll size down for my next order. Just waiting for the next sale. Love them!

I wpuld buy this again. Fits well, washes well and didn't shrink or fade. It is very soft and comfortable and fits perfectly.

Great quality, wonderful colors, wash beautifully (I hang to dry) and they are really, really soft. I also like the fact the this years flannel shirts do not have buttons on the collars. If you like flannel shirts you won't be disappointed.

This shirt is so soft and well made. I ordered a medium and it is nice and generous in fit. I have another one as well and love them both. I would definitely recommend this shirt if you want great flannel.

I've always found LL Bean flannel to be the very best. I was not disappointed with this shirt.

Nice winter weight, soft and cozy. I should have known that the small would be a bit large (which I like) when I saw that it also came in xxS.

I wish these shirts came in girlier colors, I look like a very short lumberjack when I wear it. But I love the shirt because it fits nicely and it's comfy, cozy and warm.
