I originally ordered the XS in two different colors. One was too big and the other fit fine as a relaxed fit. So, I kept one and returned the other. It's strange that the same item varied across colors. Also, after washing it once, it sheds like crazy! It sheds more than my dog. It leaves its fuzz in my car and around the house. It has a messy look due to the extreme pilling and shedding. I can literally pull out pieces of the fleece like it's fur. I've owned many fleece jackets and none of them has ever done this. I did purchase the jacket on sale, but even so It's not worth the money. I wear it around the house. It looks too haggard and dingy to wear even while walking my dog. It had been years since I purchased apparel from LLBean. The quality is not there.

I have washed this twice already and it won't stop shedding. I wear it as an outer layer and when I remove it, my undershirt and jean tops are now the color of it due to all of the shedding. It is embarrassing. I have washed and dried it twice already. If I still had the tags, I would be returning this item and I even purchased it as a "twice-a-day" special. I want to love it but am so disappointed in LL Bean on this item.

Great looking and true to size but it is paper thin! No lining. Winds goes right through it. Disappointed especially for the price.

Last year(2019) I ordered 2 of the high pile fleece pullovers and after wearing them for a month, the fleece was packed down where my seatbelt goes across. I tried washing/drying the pullovers to see if the fleece would fluff back up, but it didn't. This year(2020) I decided to try the full zip jacket in light purple, a great color. The first jacket I received had the zipper sewn in crooked so I returned it and ordered another one. Unfortunately, I've worn the 2nd jacket twice and the fleece is showing the seatbelt pattern again. I've tried brushing the nap of the fleece but it doesn't help. It's very disappointing this problem keeps occurring. I wish the fleece was better quality!

My boyfriend got the men's version of this fleece first and it was so comfy that I wanted one of my own. I wanted to love this fleece, it's so comfy and soft that I want to wear it all day. Unfortunately, the sizing is completely off. I ordered a XS Regular in women's and it's bigger than my bf's men's version!!! I don't know if the sizing for my particular fleece is off or what, but I'm regretfully returning this because it's basically a comfy but expensive tent - and I expected more for this price.

I purchased this jacket and am very disappointed in it. I have washed and dried it according to directions and it still leaves fuzz everywhere. I mean everywhere. In the car on the seatbelt, on my clothing, on my husband's clothing when he is next to me. I had to purchase a lint roller to get the fuzz off that I didn't pull off. I was pulling fuzz from this jacket off the seatbelt in handfuls. I was embarrassed when I had the jacket unzipped and I looked down at the shirt I had on and it had fuzz all over it. I had to zip the jacket back up and wear it on a very warm day since I didn't have an extra shirt and nobody was with me to lint roll my back. The fit is nice and it is very warm but I am wondering how warm the jacket will be if it keeps losing so much fuzz.

I was so excited with the color and feel of this jacket. Didn't seem as warm as advertised though. That wasn't the worst part. I washed it according to instructions and it was a disaster. Lint balls everywhere. I have to throw out the tshirt I washed with it. No way I will ever get all the lint off of it. I have spent over an hour trying to clean up the mess and nowhere near done. The more I pull off the jacket, the more I find. There's no way I will be able to wear this. It will shed on everything, everywhere. Can't wear it with all these lint balls anyway. Not nearly the quality I expected or paid for.

My husband has the same one in men's I ordered the blue thinking it was thinking it was the same as the red one shown because it didn't have a close up. It's not and not nearly as warm.

It's looks just like the picture, it feels soft just like the picture. But what I'm NOT HAPPY about Is that .. as soon as I took it out of the package theres a lot of thread coming out of it already.. for how much I paid for this and LLbean, I expected really high quality.. but this is disappointing.

This could be an incredible product, but it just sheds over all of my cloths when I wear it...

I love this fleece and it is so soft and warm, however, it SHEDS LIKE CRAZY. Washing it didn't help. I have been finding this fuzz all over things in my house and car, even when I am not wearing it. Will likely be returning.

I have 2 high pile fleece jackets purchased last year that I love. I thought this would be the same product. It is not. This fabric is very furry as described but sheds and feels flimsy in comparison to last year's version. I do not want to spend time with a lint roller. I am returning it.

Loved the color, feel and fit of the jacket. However, being from Orlando, I've never owned high-pile fleece and did not know it would pill. I wore it one day on a trip and was surprised to see all the pills...especially where my arms rubbed the front and side of the jacket. I did not know any way to get them off except picking them off one by one. Later, I read I could have shaved them off! I feel I paid too much for something that looked so bad after one wearing. I don't know what will happen when I wash it!

Should have looked at all the pictures, the green color on the elbows and pocket and sleeves look horrible; it fits, very warm, but I won't wear it; not dressy like I had hoped.

The jacket is soft and snuggly, but, it makes me look like a fullback. The color is sort of a light peachy beige-washes me out. Also, don't like the pocket details- they don't go with the soft pile.

It's the most enormous size XS I've ever known. I'm keeping it, though in case I have on 5 layers and need another for warmth.

I have a similar looking coat from a different company. This will bulky and unattractive

Wrong item delivered. My wife loved it so I kept it. Didn't even notice until she unwrapped it

I bought the green which is a beautiful Forrest green, The fit is so odd. I got it larger than my normal size but when zipped up the neck part is so tight and awkward. I plan to return.

Cute and cozy, BUT it has NO LINING, so it doesn't slide over clothing. I was wearing a corduroy shirt and actually got stuck. Back to LL Bean!

Fleece jacket did not look like LL Bean quality to me so I returned it.

Have one from 2021 that I love and went to purchase another in store today and the fleece is noticeably thinner. Very disappointing. It's one of my warmest fleeces and I won't be buying this new version. I know LL Bean is probably struggling with raising prices but I think it shouldn't be marketed as the same item.

The quality of the merchandise at LL Bean has been reduced, the price has remained high. Unfortunately for us we remember paying top prices for high quality products, no longer true. All items were returned.

Not the quality I'm use to from Llbean. I have a similar one I bought from Llbean 3 yrs ago. My niece loved it, so I gave it to her thinking I could replace it! Not happening with this poor quality

Looks bulky but feels lightweight when you put it on. Nice length. I like the zipper pockets (always a plus and appreciated), and the elbow patches on the sleeve are new to me, but that is the area that sees the most wear.
