It's a great sweatshirt, love to hang around the house with it, keeps me warm without putting up the heat. But should be sized better. I bought Large and after a washing felt more like a medium. Up the Size.

Bought this for my sister. Every other 'LL Bean shirt she wears (I've bought her at least 6) fit in Large. This particular model, I am returning for an XL.

This is truly a classic looking sweatshirt.
It runs slightly smaller, so if you are rounded in the belly, go up one size. Because I am short with a short torso, the length is perfectly long enough to cover my behind and great with the sleeve length.
I love the softness and it is warm to wear.
Howeverrrrr.... the inside behind the logo, is scratchy against bare skin, I always wear a short sleeve tee under it. The logo on the outside is beautiful.

I loved the logo and the material of the shirt is wonderful. My complaint is why do you make the neck opening so large? A sweatshirt is different then wearing a blouse or light shirt, it should have a neckline that is closer to the neck.

This sweatshirt is sooo soft and fits great. Even though I'm not thin, I find that LL Bean clothes fit a little bigger, so I ordered my usual LL Bean size small and it fits as expected. Sleeves are perfect length for my short arms, and the sweatshirt is fitted, but not too tight. Still enough room so that it doesn't hug my mummy tummy. If you are taller than 5'2, don't order a size small. It will be too short in the sleeves and overall length. This sweatshirt is super soft. The only thing I'm not happy about is the color. IT'S NOT NAVY!! IT'S DARK GRAY. Not a great color for my pale skin, but I'm keeping it because it's so comfortable, and I love the collegiate lettering.

For a sweatshirt the material is rather thin. The writing on the front is rough and patchy looking. I don't feel this is worth price.

Runs small and tighter than I prefer for the thickness of the fabric.

a bit too petite for me; though I typically wear petite--tight under armpit area

Once they started with the smaller, closer cut women's sweats, I checked out. Received this one for Christmas and it's too tight, the material is thin and makes me instantly sweat, and the crew neck is too wide. Quality has really gone down - I noticed it in their flannel, too. It's a shame because they used to be one of my go-to stores.

I have purchased other sweatshirts from llbean and they were better quality and much thicker. I will wear in the fall and spring - probably not winter

Got XL based on shrinkage in reviews-too huge. Exch. for M-too snug considering the shrinkage mentioned in reviews. Decided not to order the L. Cust. svc by phone and in person is great.

Love the sweatshirt but after one washing the LLBean letters are all cracking. I have a sweatshirt like this one from Chincoteague Virginia, that I've had for 6-7 years. It's been washed numerous times and the letters are not cracked at all. Very disappointed in the LLBean one.

My daughter loves the sweatshirt but not the color. She thought it would be a darker green. We would have order a different one otherwise. As far as quality goes she said it is soft and light weight. It is not a very warm on through

I ordered the navy blue sweatshirt in a size large (my usual ll bean size). It fits like a medium. I an wear it but I do like a looser size. I am going to keep it as I do like the weight of the material. The fit is just ok. What has happened to ll bean sizing???

I usually wear a medium in tops but like my sweatshirts big. I ordered a large in the cranberry color and cannot even get it on is so small. I also ordered an extra large in green, which is about three times too big. Guess I will be returning both.

Soft but too short. Feels like a sweatshirt for a junior. Waist length instead of below the hip. Pretty though.

This is a nice heavy sweatshirt but I returnred it because the lettering was too big, like a college team sweatshirt. Not what I wanted.

I should have paid more attention to the description of the fit. I ordered my true size Medium, and it fits, but I would have preferred a slightly oversized fit. I didn't send it back, but I wish I had gotten a Large, or even an XL.

The green sweatshirt with script title is very soft and good quality fabric. However, it runs small in size, which is disappointing. The size up I wanted to exchange it for was sold out quickly. It is not loose and roomy in cut and size. I purchased a petite which I need for sleeve length and an xs. A small would have been better. It is more fitted. Had to return it.

My husband had an LL Bean sweatshirt and it was thick and heavy and everything you expect in a good sweatshirt. I thought I was buying the same thing. This is an okay sweatshirt but so much cheaper and thinner. It's fine. It fits and is good quality for a thin sweatshirt but don't be expecting the LL Bean quality sweatshirts of the past.

Very comfortable crewneck, however be aware that it runs extremely small and the neckline is quite large. I am generally a small to medium (5'4, 135 lbs, slim build) in L.L. Bean but needed a large for a comfortable fit. I would have liked the opening for the neck to be a little smaller - I have to wear another tshirt under it. It is otherwise a very cute and comfortable sweatshirt.

I ordered a size up because the description indicated a slimmer fit. Tight fit - would not order again.

Ordered my regular size 2x but it felt too skimpy so will be returning for a bigger size to have more comfortable movement room. Otherwise liked the design & quality seemed ok - wear time will tell. Hoping for the best!

I love the quality but have a really hard time with your sizing. For petite, the length is great but the sleeves are way too short! I do not have exceptionality long arms. I'm 5'2 and wear petite clothing. For whatever reason, your petite sleeves are always too short no matter which shirt. I end up having to cuff them to disguise the fact they're too short. It's awkward. All of your petite shirts.

It's isn't the sturdy sweat shirt I thought it was. Too clingy. I will send back and try the mens.
