Cozy soft flannel. Looking forward to wearing it now that the weather is getting cold. However the sizing on this shirt is off (unless it shrinks when I wash the two I bought) I always by Medium but this shirt is enormous. I got it on a 2-a-day special. Since I had so much trouble exchanging sizes on something else, awhile backI decided to sew darts in back to take up some of the bulk. Better but still not right. And the remaining plaid shirts were all at a way higher price point tho they were the same plaids. So exchange was out of the question. All I can hope for is that my shirts shrink to my size.

Love this flannel. I purchased a M. I am 6' tall, 15.5 across the shoulder, 26.5 waist, 39.5 hips. It falls just at my hip, which is always a miracle. It is definitely a relaxed fit, very loose. So I kept it as an around the house flannel, instead of a wear to work/out and about flannel. It is very cozy. Definitely purchase this, just be weary that it is truly a relaxed fit.

These are the best flannel shirts I have found. I need petite size & you have them. The 4 star rating is because the sleeve length of the shirts I recently received is an inch longer than the shirts I bought last year. Please address this issue. Last years shirts were perfect. I will add that the quality of your flannel it great.

Shirt is very pretty and great quality as usual, but as always with LL Bean never long enough for me.

I purchased this plaid fannel shirt in the Grey Stewart, and I loved the color of the shirt, plus the quality of the fabric was wonderful, however, when it comes to striped or plaid shirts, my pet peeve is when the lines don't match up - it makes the garment appear cheap. The lines in a high quality item will match up, unfortunately, this is not the case with this flannel shirt, therefore, I am returning it. I am disappointed because the fabric is soft and lovely, but I just can't get past the lines not matching up.

As summer fades, I am looking for a "topper" to throw on over a t-shirt. This and the other flannel shirts are just perfect for the comfort and casual nature of dressing that I am wanting. They wash and wear very well. The fabric stands up to whatever activity I am doing. This is a shirt that I will wear for years.

This may be my new favorite shirt! The flannel is thick and cozy and it has plenty of room without being bulky. I do wish that the plaid patterns matched on the seams under the arms. That would probably take more fabric, but it would give it a better look.

I love the color and the Tartan plaid. I bought a shirt to wear either over a tank or by itself. It is a little too big, which stops me from giving it 5 stars, but ok overall. The flannel is medium weight which I love. Cannot wait to wear it as our weather gets a little cooler.

This Portuguese flannel is very nice-- heavy enough weight, soft, seems strong. Great plaids. I got the relaxed fit because the other, more fitted flannel for women is too tight to the body for my liking. I like flannels as a layer over T-shirts, so Relaxed fit is good. I'm usually an XS regular but I ordered both that and the S petite and the Petite S is just right. I gave only 4 stars because of a problem with the Regular sizes that I had dealt with before: The Regular size in Gray Stewart pattern came with a button-down collar even though the description and online picture shows a spread collar (I hate button-downs!). That's why I tried the petite sizing (came with spread collar, happily), one size up, and it was fine. What's up, product control managers?

The fabric is lovely, and it's unusual to find a Napier tartan, so these get 5 stars from me. However, even though the fit of the shirt is described as relaxed, I found it a little skimpy. Usually, an LLB size Large is plenty big enough, especially if it's a relaxed fit, but in this, I needed to move up to an XL.

I say 'mostly' because even though it is 'relaxed' fit, it approaches snug! Putting it over a tank top is about as much as it can handle-- T-shirt is too much. Keeping that in mind, I probably would order XL next time!

I wear a petite 6 and this was my first relaxed fit purchase. I was tempted by the sale price. It's a great shirt. I thought relaxed would be comfortably roomy, but the shirt is really wide and makes me look really wide. Much as I like the fabric and the plaid it's not flattering enough to wear anywhere except around the house. So I've learned my lesson about buying relaxed fit clothing.

I have many of these shirts in various plaids, bought over the years. I love the fabric which washes and dries very nicely. I only have two comments. The space between the top two buttons is larger than I care for as I usually wear it buttoned to the top. It wants to gape outward and I find myself having to adjust it as it doesn't feel right. The other comment is that LLB doesn't make their corduroy pants or jeans with enough room at the waist to comfortably tuck in these flannel shirts, which of course are quite bulky. Sizing up doesn't look good because then the hips are too large. Anyone listening LLB?

I returned this shirt only because of the color. Probably will buy another one next season.

This flannel shirt is a bit heavier than my other shirts but it is very warm and comfortable. It did make lots of lint the first time I washed it. But it washes up well and fits great.

I love the quality of the cotton flannel; thickness of the material. It's great that the pocket in the front matches the plaid so it's hardly noticeable. For the price you pay for plus, or any size for that matter, it would surely be nice if the plaid had a continuous match around the shirt. I have several shirts and the flannel washes and holds up nicely. I also like the change that the collars don't have those 2 small button-downs like my old ones or like on the men's shirts.

Like the relaxed fit. LLBean now has most of their women's clothing as shaped fits. The only problem is the sleeves are way too long but other than that perfect. Washes and dries well!

I'm sort of particular about my plaid prints and found this one to be exactly what I was looking for since I wanted a blue and green flannel. At 5' 6" and about 115 pounds I bought this in a small and it's loose like a boyfriend shirt which I like. I wear it often and layer it over another shirt wearing it unbuttoned. Some reviews said they missed the buttons on the collar. I personally would not have liked it if it had buttons for that would have made it too polished looking to me. My only complaint is that the flannel does not seem to be quite the quality I order from other companies and those companies actually sell their flannel shirts for less. Upon just the first washing in cold water and drying, the shirt does get a very worn look on the fabric which surprised and disappointed me at first but it has not kept me from wearing it for I am a very casual dresser anyway.

The fabric is very nice The pattern on front of the shirt matches perfectly. But the yolk on the back is not matched. I used to sew a lot and I would not have considered not having the fabric match. They could have cut the yolk on the bias, which would be perfect. The unmatched fabric makes the shirt not as nice as it could/should be.

I have been buying these shirts for a few years now, both replacing and adding because I wear them every day during the fall and winter. Nice quality and comfortable and warm and fun! However and it's a big however, the version sold this year has changed and I don't like it. I bought a few and found myself returning them without being able to pin point what wasn't working for me until I ended up keeping one and then realized that that the style and fit changed. They no longer have button down collars for at least some of the plaids and they are huge and long. I am sorry I kept the one I kept because it just doesn't look or fit like my others and looks sloppy on me. The quality is still decent but the rest is not as desirable at least to me. The 4 star rating is only if the change in fit and style is something you like for yourself because it seems the quality/weight of the fabric (as in not thin flannel) is still there.

This shirt is very warm and cozy feeling. The size is not true. I bought a medium but unforunately had to give it away and reorder a xsmall.

I love these shirts - they are the only gift I ask for every year at Christmas and I buy them for myself as well. I'm now up to 10 of them, in both misses and womens (although only 7 were willing to have their picture taken). But . . . I really miss the button-down collar this year; it was one of the features that made these shirts look more upscale than the typical flannel shirt.

The plaid is beautiful and the weight of the flannel is nice...not too heavy, not too light. BUT, it does run large. An XL is sometimes too small for me, but this shirt fits very loose and the sleeves are about 3 inches too long. Not sure if I am going to order a Large (afraid it might be too small).

Relaxed fit is great comfort and fabric soft. I do wish the flannel was heavier like the men's so the shirt would be warmer. Need to wear with a turtle neck for warmth.
