The quality is very nice, however they are absolutely HUGE. I ordered size large which is what I usually take. This large is massive! I could have taken a small, that is how big they are. I have not returned since I don't want to pay postage to send back & no LL Bean store near me to return. Also I ordered them in Tall since I am 5'10" and they are dragging the floor. The sizing is not accurate.

These fit really big. I wasn't terribly disappointed because you really don't want pajamas to fit tightly. The big negative for me is that they pilled after washing so that they, and other clothes I washed with them, had navy blue fuzzies all over them. And I did follow washing instructions. Also after washing, the material felt much different and thinner. For reference on sizing, I'm 5'3" tall, 130 lbs and normally wear a 6 petite. I probably could have worn an XS in these but didn't want to go through the hassle of exchanging them.

The material is so thin it isn't even warm and for petite size the legs are inches too long. The pants are gigantic and the top is a tad too small. Sad to say they are going back.

Flannel is thinner and not as heavy than competitors (begins with "Vermont"). Returned to store and purchased men's and ladies tops which are great. Still like majority of LLBean products.

Terribly disappointed. These are very thin flannel. Not the classic I have loved for years. Certainly not worth the price anymore. Sad to see this product lose stars!

The flannel of LL Bean pajamas used to be one of the great comforts of winter. It was thick. It stood up to years of washing. The two new pairs of pajamas l just bought are significantly thinner, almost to the point of what l'd describe as flimsy. I would definitely return them if the cold weather weren't already upon us and all-cotton flannel pajamas are hard to come by. Really sad that LL Bean is no longer a dependable source for this staple.

Great fit and quality but I noticed after I washed them that one leg is made from a different type of plaid.

The shirt was too small and the pants were huge, so exchanging for a different size will not work. I talked to customer service, and it is impossible to purchase the top and pants separately. I am so disappointed because they are so soft and feel wonderful.

I bought these PJs in Black Watch because I have so enjoyed wearing the Royal Stewart Tartan in the same PJ. The top of this, particularly the sleeves, are itchy even after years of using and laundering. I only wear them when I have to because the other set is in the laundry. Try a different color!

I bought a flannel pajama set. I have one just like it that I love, but after many many years it's wearing out. So I bought, I thought, another medium. Turned out the top, which is the tag I looked at, was a medium, but the bottom was a LARGE. I swim in it. I didn't realize until I had already washed it so no taking it back. Too bad.

Usually I have no problems with LLBean items--like zero none. However, I've had these pajamas for a few years now and only after seasonal wears, they started to thin and fray at the seams to the point that they have holes. Unfortunately, I've had them for over a year and are no longer covered by the warranty. That said, just be aware that you might only get a few years of seasonal wear out of these pajamas and I feel that for the amount of money they cost, its just not worth it. But, I was happy with them while they lasted.

After several months of wear, these pjs are still stiff and not at all cozy. The wrists and bottom of the top have stretched out and are no longer snug. A big disappointment.

These are very nice and warm, but they are full of lint. I have had to wash them separately, which is a lot of extra work. Getting a little better, but if the lint continues, I will return.

We ordered 2 pair of these pajamas for our Christmas photos. We loved them and they fit perfect. Until we washed them....they shrunk - the pants are now too short and the arms and shoulders of the shirt are short as well. I dried one pair (which the instructions say you can do) and I hung the others out to see if that made a difference....it did not.

I honestly never return anything to Bean, I expected the flannel pajamas to be as thick as all of my flannel shirts and they are thin. Won't be warm enough for me. Disappointed. Returned for a wool sweater that is warm.

I bought these for my daughter in law for Christmas and am very disappointed because the first time she washed them, per the instructions, they shrank considerably.

No matter what size we tried, the style was constricting in the arms. I can't believe how much money we lost in shipping to try different sizes. Very frustruating.

Not the same quality as previous years. After the first washing they felt thin and flimsy. For the price I was a little disappointed. I love the men's flannel PJ sets. Thought the women's would be the same quality.

The pajamas weren't the quality I was looking for, especially given the price. The flannel is thin and pills easily. The stitching isn't finished. All in all, not a good purchase.

Good Quality, Bad Sizing. Bought 'large regular' size. Top was too small and bottom too big.

The top is VERY small compared to the bottoms. I ordered a size small and it's more like an x-small top with medium size bottoms. I'm a smaller person on top and it's very unusual that shoulder seams don't fit me like they don't with these PJs. I'd order a medium but afraid the bottoms will then be too big. Disappointed.

The top fits OK but I could put three of me in the bottoms! Loose and comfy is all right, but these are so baggy the cold comes in from the bottom. They look sloppy and ride up over my knees at night, leaving my legs exposed. I'm also disappointed by the flannel, which is thinner and less cushy than I expected. I'll take them to a tailor and see if the bottoms can be taken in without losing the side pockets. But of course that will add substantially to the cost.

Quality great, but my personal preference is not to sleep in a buttoned shirt Thus I returned it Thanks for asking
