Nice soft flannel, on the thin side compared to some others. Rather voluminous in fit but the xs was too tight across the shoulders so returned for a small. I don't really understand L.L. Bean's sizes, even with the chart.

I liked the flannel used in this pajamas, very soft and love the colors, but the top was tight; the pants were a little lose which is fine to sleep.

Bottoms a little large for "regular" top fits great.

Love the mid-heavy weight fabric and the soft touch. Great to have pockets in both the top and pants. The medium petite fit is great in the pant, and just a smidgen too small in the top because I am not flat chested. I can't afford to buy two pair to get a better top, so I wear the top unbuttoned over a tee as a sort of robe before i go to bed. I would rather mix and match the pieces, but Im sure that causes inventory problems for you.

The quality of these pajamas is very nice. But the reason I didn't give a full five stars is that the pants are way too long for an average height person. I had to hem them 3 inches. I even went back to the store and checked the petite size, and believe it or not, they were the same length.

I actually purchased two pair of these pajamas--one for my mother and one for me. I ordered the same size, medium petite, for both of us, as we are short in stature. The top fits me fine, but my mother says her top almost doesn't button. On both of us the pants are very baggy.

I love these pajamas. The only thing I would request is to lower the crotch a bit. The crotch fits like street pants so when laying down to sleep the crotch rides up. Also, change the elastic in the waistband to a thinner elastic. The elastic is way too tight (I am 5'6", 116#) and has a tendency to dig into my side when laying down. If I purchase another pair I think I might go with tall since I like them a bit longer.

Gorgeous fabric. However, once again I find that LL Bean pants are not cut for curvaceous long waisted people. Sigh. I wear them to watch TV then change into a nightgown.

Flannel pajamas and very warm ! Top is a little bit tight across the chest area but otherwise fits fine.

I had purchased a men's medium on sale and found the elastic waist to be a smidge tight. This time I ordered a women's large. My bust 38", waist 31", & hip 41" (height 5'7"). I'm happy with the generous fit. I washed/dried on warm, and if they shrunk, it's not noticeable probably because I bought large to start with. Had to remove the stiff, scratchy tags in the neckline, otherwise pretty happy with these jammies.

I had two of these before. It is very warm and comfortable. I am short, 5 feet, so I usually have to take the length. But this time, size small was too small width wise. It took me two full days to extend the width and adding more space under the armpit area. Next time, I will order medium so I don't have to fix the width.

So far these are really soft and, at first, the tall is actually tall. Unfortunately, even if you dry on low/delicate these SHRINK. The arms on the top are now too short, and the pant length shrunk at least 1.5 inches.

THIS FLANNEL was very soft - but I expected thicker , warmer flannel.This is one of the very few products I have ever returned.

Once again the quality is duperb. The sizing was off. I bought them in regular and petite. Neither fit appropriately.

Really wonderful quality pajama set. Minus one star because there is a size discrepancy between the top and bottoms. The top is noticeable smaller/tighter and the sleeves are short while the bottoms are long and loose. For this reason I probably wouldnt put this set in the dryer for fear of shrinkage.

Quality fabric Love the purple/black/red plaid, but not the white buttonstook them off and wear a T-shirt with top because I don't sew. These are fun and comfy and run a little large compared to the PJs I bought two years ago.

Love these cozy soft pajamas. They are warm but not too heavy, and very soft. Took 1 point off for the print (which was on sale) - the patterns on the legs look weird. Otherwise love them.

About 10 years ago I purchased 2 pairs of LLBean flannel pjs, both in pretty floral prints. They are both worn out and it's time to replace them. But, I'm not a fan of plaids and I wish that florals prints were still an option! Thank you.

I'm normally a small but went with XS bc LL Bean. (I'm 5'8" 135lbs) The top is a bit snug but pants are perfect. The plaid is nice and a good weight but I'm already noticing some pilling so not sure how they'll hold up over time. But I'm generally happy with the purchase.

Great, soft, warm pajamas, but the tags have got to go. They are scratchy and annoying, and interfere with a good night's sleep. Other than that, they're wonderful! Please LL Bean use printed tags! Yo from New Mexico

Ordered for my Mom who was always a nightgown preferring person. Got her the pajamas when the cold weather seemed to be bothering her more. She loves the comfort and the warmth. Only complaint was that the buttons were a little small for her arthritic fingers. Size was true and fit was great for her. Didn't give 5 stars because reserving judgement on durability and pilling of fabric. Otherwise they are great.

I bought these pajamas in a petite XS in September. Love the material and the top fits perfectly, but the rise is too low in the bottoms to be be comfortable during sleep (and this is before washing). I am only 4'11 and weigh 100 pounds, so I should be at or near the bottom end of the petite size range. As with most pajama bottoms, even if you start the night wearing the bottoms well below your waist, they creep up toward your natural waist as you sleep and then they become very uncomfortable. I wish that either the bottoms were made with a longer rise, or that you could buy tops and bottoms in different sizes, or that your flannel sleep pants came in the same patterns as the pajamas. I really like the material and would like to wear these pajamas, but it looks like my only option is to buy a second pair in a regular small, and wear the top from the petite pair and the bottom from the regular pair.

For years I have worn night gowns but my legs were getting cold so tried these, better, but I wish they had feet.
