The fabric and construction are really good, and the bottoms fit just fine, but the top is too tight across the shoulders. The next size up would be too large. I like these pajamas, but I have to return them because of the skimpy fit in the shoulders.

I have owned many LL Bean flannel pajamas over many years. These fit well & are comfortable. However what I like better about my previously purchased flannel pjs, is that the flannel was heavier/thicker than these recent purchased pjs.

Nice product. I give them 4 stars only because the fabric is not as heavy as in the past. The sizing runs large but that makes for extra comfort.

These pajamas are high quality, but the color was darker (duller) than expected so I'm returning them.

The fit is right (petite small) but the flannel is pilling after a week of wearing.

I love the soft cozy feel. I ordered the M, but for pajamas, I prefer a little more room. I'm returning them for a L.

I love these PJs but miss the royal stewart color.

Nice pajamas. Soft, warm and cozy. Nice fit. Pockets are large enough to be useful. Washes nicely. My only complaint is the label. It is itchy and scratchy. Even after cutting it out, the remainder of the tag is very itchy and scratchy. Resolve this problem and the are perfect.

I have these in a medium petite. I bought the small petite and the are nice but the smaller size ends up having a longer leg length. Considering hemming but didn't want to have to do that. The mediums were perfect leg and arm length. I wasn't expecting the smaller size to have a longer leg.

Love the softness, and warmth of flannel. My downsize on the product is when you are in a bed with flannel sheets and you are wearing flannel pjs its hard to turn in the bed.

Nice but the fabric is not as thick as pjs I bought several years ago. They do have pockets which is nice. Not thinking they are up to LLBEAN standards.

Best warm soft flannel pajamas evah! They fit perfectly with just a tiny bit more room which is great. They don't pull on the shoulder seems when I toss and turn over in bed. Nice comfortable fit, and warm -which is what I was going after.
Have already recommended these to several friends.
Bought the size. XL 5'3" and 170 lbs
Bought for sleeping and lounging.
Years ago, I used to buy occasionally from LL Bean when I was working. But now that I'm retired, and my dress code is much less formal, I buy 99% of all my clothes from LL Bean.

Love these pajamas, they are the best, but the side seam tags (3 of them!) on the bottoms are the worst. They poke and itch and are difficult to remove without leaving a small bit that is also stiff and pokey. LLBean, please stop with the tags! Maybe one soft tag that is easy for the customer to fully remove.

Love the pajamas - very warm comfortable and sewn well. My only complaint is that the tags that the non-fabric tags under the fabric tags are so scratchy. Even with a pair of tiny scissors and great effort to remove them without cutting the thread of the seams the seams sis come apart. I sewed the seams back together but this should not need to be done. Please make that part of the tag a true tear-away!

Overall, these pajamas are pretty good and will last a while. I was a little disappointed on how thin the material is. I guess I expected the flannel to be thicker since it was such a big highlight in the description. The pants are very loose fitting as described.

I've ordered these in both Black Watch and Rob Roy. The Black Watch flannel seems to be much softer than the Rob Roy. I'd recommend the first, but not the second. Both types also have tags that are extremely scratchy; part can be cut off, but a part remains, stitched into the seams.

Nicely made, warm, with gray details. Only problems were the that the pants are too long, though that was the size suggested for my wife's height, and the color recommended for the monogram can't be seen.

The arm holes feel tight in terms of pulling when you sleep - usually PJs fit a bit looser. I am a medium in most tops and a large in most bottoms of LL Bean so I sized up to a large for a looser PJ fit - also because 100% cotton shrinks. But the arm holes still feel a bit tight. and the buttons gap a bit if I really move my shoulders around. I have a broad back though but just so you know. Also if you need more room for your blessed chest - size up. Thankfully I did bc the medium top would have been way too small for me in this set. The large top could be more of a loose fit just saying.

Fit is fine. Flannel is ultra soft, although not as warm as comparable from other sources (e.g. l*nds *nd).
Only issue was after first washing it shed black fuzzies onto fleece-type article in same laundryassume it's a one-time problem

I was so looking forward to LL Bean's flannel PJs since their flannel sheets are THE BEST. The fabric, plaid, quality, and style did not disappoint, but the size XS is much too large. Even accounting for an oversized fit, the sleeves were inches too long and the waist could not be cinched enough with the drawstring without bunching uncomfortably. I am 5'4" female, 101 pounds, and fit. Please offer your plaid PJs in an XXS or in kids sizes. I do still highly recommend these PJs if the size is right for you.

I bought matching PJs for me and my wife recently, and while the men's pair haven't held up well, the women's seem fine so far. And I'm afraid to say that's all they seem -- just fine. The flannel is thin and wrinkles immediately and doesn't instill a lot of confidence about the lifespan of the garment.
