I have had several pairs of Bean's flannel pajamas and wanted to try one of the newer colors. The pair I received a couple of weeks ago pilled within the first or second wear and despite washing, air drying and ironing, have pills every where. They are nothing like the pairs I have owned for years. Sadly I am returning and will not purchase another pair until Bean can bring back their old quality.
Disappointed,

They were bought for my mother (who is tall, for a woman). The legs were too tall for my father, who is taller!

Horrible fit. I ordered a regular medium. Pants fit like an XLg Tall and top fit like a petite Small. In original packaging too. Hoping new set is correct

While the quality seemed fine, the fit was absolutely huge. I could fit both my legs in one leg. Already returned

the fabric was O.K. but the size bore no relation to the size chart in the catalog. Had to return, don't want to guess what size I'd get if I tried to exchange.

I bought these at full price and was assured it was Portugal flannel. They are notthe flannel is pilling and the sheets are covered I. The fluff. Have washed them 3 times a they still have fluff coming off. They are not good quality at all. My cheaper flannels are much better than these. So disappointed with llbean. They used to be so much better than this

The fabric begins to get a little rough rather quickly like those little balls on the surface. They are comfy and warm, but don't appear like they're going to last a whole season without getting a little rough to the touch.

I bought these at full price, something I rarely do these days with so many sales. I have always enjoyed LL Bean items and never had any issues! The flannel is warm and they appeared fine. However, after I cut off the tags, I saw the plaid does not line up on the sides top or bottom which is very sloppy sewing. The plaid does match in the front so you don't notice right away. I expected better from LL Bean. Now, I will know not to trust the items above any other company. So sad!

Bought these flannel pajamas because I loved the ones I bought several years ago. Quality is much worse! The fabric is thin and scratchy and the sizing was huge in the pants! DISAPPOINTED. Will return these.

I really dislike these. The fabric is itchy and irritating. Why are there buttons on the sleeve cuffs ? They seem unnecessary. Would never buy these again. Plus very expensive.

The style and color are appealing but after one wash, the fabric lost its firmness and is a loose baggy pajama now.

My wife is very disappointed with the quality of the flannel used in these pajamas; she expected much better from LL Bean. She followed the instructions for washing and drying but the fabric is full of pills after one washing.

I bought these pajamas for my mother 2 months ago and she recently told me that she can no longer wear them because they started shedding after she washed them and are still shedding after multiple washes. As warm as they were, her bed was covered in fuzz every morning and she developed a rash that got better when she stopped wearing them. Very disappointing and I will look elsewhere for warm flannel pjs.

I bought flannel pajamas in size small petite. They were incredibly large. Further, they were not at all warm. I won't shop clothing here again.

What should be the right size was instead voluminous. Way too large. Have sizes changed to satisfy obese people?

Very full cut. Looks ridiculous on a thin frame. Pockets huge- what does one put in their pockets before bed?

The fabric is thinner than my 2006 PJs and 2015 Flannel Shirt. I returned them without fully unpacking them. I live in Atlanta, so I am not looking for very thick flannel, but this is too thin. I will take very special care of the PJs I still have.

I can't begin to tell you how disappointed I was in this Scotch Plain Flannel Nightgown. I bought one of these nightgowns about 6 years ago. I loved the look and the fit, BUT, the buttons at the neck opening didn't leave enough room to get it on or off over your head without messing your hair and make-up. Because I want a nightgown I can either step into or get on and off over my head without getting rumpled, I never bought another. Then recently, in an online LLBEAN ad, it said this nightgown was easy on, so I ordered one. Forget it, it's exactly the same nightgown I bought years ago and is NOT easy on! How cheap can this company be. All it would take is one more button which would open the neck enough to allow it to be put on or taken off without the hassle. What a disappointment! Back it went. I hated to have to take it back, the material is nice and the length was great. Just seems cheap to me.
