This is my second LL Bean fleeced lined shirt. The first one I bought about 3 years ago and it still looks like new. I bought the second one recently because I wanted another color. I love this new one even more because it has snaps instead of buttons. They keep their shape when using the regular cycle on the washer and dryer. As far as size goes, get your regular size. No need to size up. These shirts are very roomy.

I love these shirts. They are soft and warm. Perfect for chilly autumn days or indoors during the winter while keeping the temp set lower to economize. Not sure why the design was changed from buttons to snaps but I'll continue to buy them when new patterns arrive.

Love these shirts. The first one I bought in a M petite, but wanted a little extra length. The next two I bought in a regular medium. I think they are warmer than a sweatshirt. I pretty much wore them all last winter, even when it was -30 degrees. Snap front is handy, though mostly I wear open with T-shirt underneath. I have recommended them to friends.

This flannel shirt is very soft and comfortable. I really like the fit and color. This is my first fleece lined flannel and i can't wait til its warm enough to wear it. I bought this to wear on camping trips in the cooler weather and i think this will be my go to for that. I will most likely order another in a different color. I like the snaps instead of buttons too. I have just enough room in this to wear long sleeves under it also without it being tight or bulky.

This is a great jacket for "between season" or when it's cool, and you want to run out and do errands. it's very lightweight, and soft and warm. The colours are pretty shades of blue. Because of the nice detailing, it can be worn with pants, jeans, or a casual skirt.

I saw this shirt on a sale rack at my local store. On a whim, I tried it on. It's a good thing I did, because I love the shirt. It is just the right size-roomy enough to layer if you want, or wear it alone, as I do. The outside "flannel" is not really a flannel, but I like it just the way it is. It is a nicely woven soft plaid that doesn't shrink or pill when washed. The inside fleece is wonderfully soft and just the right weight for comfort. It is a thin-to-medium weight fleece that drapes nicely and is not too hot in the house. It works perfectly well on a cool, but not cold, day to run errands. The number of pockets is perfect! I love the snapped chest pockets to put a key, and the side pocket are angled just right to put your hands in. (If they had a snap too, they would be even better!). I am SO glad that someone decided women's shirts deserved pockets too! The placement of the pockets, on the lower front, is so much better than in the side seams. The shaped lower hem is very flattering. I like it better than the shirts with straight hems. And I like the snaps better than buttons. Good job, LLBean; please don't change a thing! Just offer the shirt next season in lots of colors! I will buy one at full price! I am so glad that I tried the shirt on and bought it. I have worn nothing else, when I am home, for the last few weeks! It is soft and warm and a perfect length for me!

I wear this as a jacket. I love the relaxed fit, the pockets and the snaps. Even the length is good for my short frame.

This is one of my favorite shirts. The quality is excellent and the fit is great. I wear it with a henley underneath...so comfortable, roomy and warm. I'm reviewing several products I recently ordered, because I rely on these reviews to help me decide if I want to purchase. Sometimes the reviews are just crazy, especially when it comes to size. Some people don't seem to realize that we're all shaped differently, and just because something doesn't fit one person, that doesn't mean that the product is not good. I love LLBean. Everything is such high quality, and no one can beat their flannel.

I love this fleece lined shirt. Its so easy to throw overtop of something or just wear around the house in the cold PA winters. I would highly recommend this I will be purchasing more next year hoping for some new colors. Thanks LLBean for the great quality as always!

Bought this shirt as a "sweater" to wear around the house over something else, e.g., a turtleneck. As such, it's roomy enough without feeling too large. If I was wearing it by itself, then it would be too big. It is SO comfortable and warm! So much so that I bought a second one. I was not aware that it had side pockets, which are a bonus--I can wear it during a quick dash outside and have a place to keep my hands warm. It is pricey, but I was able to buy mine during a 25% off promotion, so that made it a good value.

Sizing and fear were excellent. Highly recommended for cooler weather. Works well when layered.

I got the Black Watch plaid jacket and am very pleased. It is light weight but warm and the pockets are just right for my hands. I have short arms and sometimes pockets aren't in the right place for me. I got my usual size and there is room for a sweater underneath the jacket. I like to layer.

I love this shirt. Have it in light blue and then the navy / green plaid. My only sadness is that there aren't more colors. (Even the green isn't *that* great with my skin tone). It's a really nice shirt - cosy, warm, easy, goes well with jeans, leggings, other pants. I also love the snap opening and the pockets. Seriously: top 10 shirts of all time.

I love this shirt. I wear it around the house. Since we heat with a wood stove, it can be a bit chilly around the house. This shirt keeps me warm and cozy. It's a little tight around the hips, so I probably would get another size in the future.

I have purchased four of these; just a great shirt / jacket. It would be good if there were options available other than plaids to make this item more versatile for work. How about some dark solid colors? Black,navy,dark charcoal,burgundy,dark forest green, and dark purple would work well.

The shirt is perfect for cool and cold weather, which makes it very useful.

First off I want to say that I always buy a lot of clothes at Bean. I received the green plaid for my birthday. My daughter bought the same shirt but she told my husband to get a smaller size because they were really big. I generally wear a size large but he ordered a medium petite. It fits perfect . The flannel on the outside is A thin flannel it almost looks like a cotton shirt but it is definitely a thin flannel with polar fleece on the inside. The shirt is not really thick to be uncomfortable it has a nice weight to it . Today is 41 I'm wearing this shirt/jacket as a regular shirt I went outside and it was perfect I didn't need another jacket or anything. Oh by the way I live in the Chicagoland area in case you were wondering about the temperatures . Overall this is a great shirt .
