Top had a tiny hole in the right front by the shoulder, but was comfortable. The bottoms, on the other hand, are still stiff after two washings. They are not at all like the other two pairs of this type of LL Bean PJs. Will be on the donation pile.

Runs large. Pants felt like clown pants Material not so soft and cozy

I returned this PJ set. The top was fine and was correct size. However the pants were way off size wise. They were very long and the fabric was very dense and very large. Basically a regular large top and extra large pants.

I wanted a nice pair of cotton pajamas, and these are actually flannel, which I didn't want. I picked them because they did NOT say they were flannel.

The tops are soft and comfortable. The bottoms are not. They are stiff and not really comfortable. If both pieces were like the top, they would be perfect. Disappointing, because they are expensive.

Top fits to size but pajama bottoms are way to big. Length is ok for a tall but the width is double what it needs to be.

Tops a nice soft cotton, fit well. Bottoms a rough flannel, poorly shaped (no shape?) and HUGE. Should have returned them but got out my sewing machine instead.

It's comfortable but frumpy. I am slim but even the xs looks unflattering

too wide and baggy in the legs---they don't hang straight. If I had known they were made in China, I would not have ordered them.

The bottoms run very large. Top fits fine but pants are extremely to large. Makes me wonder if they are tagged wrong.

I love the top to these pajamas, they are made of heavy, comfortable cotton. The pants are awful. The fabric does not feel like quality cotton. They feel like a cheap polyester. The only reason I didn't return them was because I like the top and wear it with different bottoms. I would not purchase another pair of these.

Top is very long and narrow. Elastic on pants is uncomfortable. Flannel quality wasn't as expected. I returned them. If you're tall and very thin, they may work.

These pj's are cute. The top is a cotton knit, and the pants are a lightweight flannel. Unfortunately, while the top fit perfectly (I'm a size 14), the pants are HUGE--quite long and billowy. Crotch is also long. While I considered laundering a pair to see how much they'd shrink, I doubt they'd shrink sufficiently to keep them unfortunately so they're going back.

I am returning as pants too long and material flimsy. I am disappointed in quality.

I need pockets!

The top is soft and comfortable. After almost 3 months of washings the pants are still stiff. I guess I was expecting soft flannel. They are not comfortable.

I did not feel the quality was up to the standard one would expect from L.L. Bean. For the price, the fabric should have been a better quality! Therefore I returned the item. I am still waiting for my refund!

Believe the reviews that say the bottoms are huge clown pants and the tops are small in comparison. I decided to alter the bottoms, not something I should have to do for the price paid. Also, as other reviewers note the flannel is not soft even after numerous washes.

Not up to LLBean's usual standards. Had to return my usual size Reg. Medium because pants were HUGE and shirt just a bit large. Exchanged for Petite Small. Pants just right length, still very wide in hips and legs. Shirt is more fitted than I like, but can move easily. Machine washed and dried, and they shrank. Now pants are shorter and top even more fitted with shorter sleeves. Fabric is not soft, and plaid doesn't match at side seams. I will keep, as I've been searching for new warm pajamas for a long time and these will have to do.

The top fits okay but there is no leeway for any shrinkage. The bottoms are giant! The legs are very wide, way beyond just roomy and comfortable. The waist slips down. I have other size large LL Bean pajamas that fit just fine. I also notice that the fabric feels rough. I don't know if this would change after washing, but it doesn't feel as nice a flannel as my other ones. The medium bottoms would probably fit well but then the top would be too small. Returning them unworn (except for trying them on).

I ordered a large. The top fit fine, but I could put two of me into the pants. Really disappointed. I didn't send them back because I thought washing them would help shrink them. So I'm stuck with them. To be honest, this is the first time I've ever been disappointed in a product I've ordered from LL Bean. I LOVE EEBean but will be more careful what I order.

I like the plaid bottoms and matching top. The material is warm and comfy. The top is a little big but the bottoms are huge. I always wear a small, size 6, but these pajamas are big enough to put two of me in the bottoms. I had hoped they would shrink but they did not.

The top fits perfectly and I love it. The pants are so big and made with so much fabric, they look like clown pants.

Very disappointed. I was so happy to see a cotton pajamas set. Also very attractive looking. However, the pants are like clown pants.. like plus pants. I had to recheck to see if they made a mistake with the size. I ordered a medium, 5,6 150 lbs. Can't see myself ever being seen in these. Now I have to find a store to return.
