I ordered a petite large the top fits beautifully BUT the bottoms I believe are miss-marked they are long and I have to roll them or if trip and fall and they are very very big like an extra large or bigger

The sizing checkbox is misleading, because the top is narrow across shoulders and chest, sleeves kind of tight, while bottom is huge and sloppy. Fabric is nicely heavy, at least. Haven't decided yet whether to return. It also drives me crazy that most of the colors are suitable for infants. I don't want to run around braless in a tight baby blue top!

As a set this purchase was a fail. The top "just" fit my long arms and the sleeve length shrank 1 inch the first time I washed it. The bottoms were huge through the hips and legs even though the waist and length were OK. These pajamas would be better off offered as separate pieces. I would have ordered a large tall top and small tall bottoms.

Pants are huge. Had to take the waist out and redo it. If I'd exchanged for a smaller size. The top would have been too small.

Love the top, the colors and look, but the pants remain stiff even after several washings.

Soooo disappointed there are no pockets! Your PJ's used to have pockets!

I love LLBean, but I'm not loving these pjs. My expectations were different than what I received. The top seems of LLBean quality (although a button has already come off after 2 washes), but the bottoms are where I'm truly disappointed. I expected a stretchier cotton fabric that was softer. This is a little stiff, no give. I don't often buy $60 pjs, but my husband treated me these for my birthday- I guess I should've sent them back, but it's too much trouble.

Pants on these PJs seem extra big and long. Since they are pajamas will be cutting off quite a bit and hemming. Top is very comfortable.

The flannel bottoms are rough, not soft. Washing the bottoms doesn't help. Who wants scratchy, rough flannel pj bottoms?

These PJ's are cute. Could do without the LLBEAN plastered all over them though. The pants are HUGE! I ordered a medium, based on what I got, could use an XS in pants, but the top fit well. Fairly well made, and comfy. Just wish the pants weren't so huge. If you're full figured in the hips/waist/butt/thighs then these will be for you.

The bottoms were huge and the top was small. I like my pajama tops to be slightly large, and would have ordered a larger size, but the bottoms were already too large. I tried 2 different sets and they were the same. Please sell tops and bottoms separately like you used to! I have worn out a couple of the older versions when tops and bottoms were sold separately. Other than the sizing, I would love to have a couple of these. Soft and warm!

I bought these pajamas for my wife and she absolutely loved them! They fit perfectly (I selected the tall size as she is close to 6' in height) and were extremely comfortable. Unfortunately, when they were washed the first time, the red and pink colors within the design on the bottoms bled onto the cream colored areas and bled onto other items that were included in the wash. My wife is extremely vigilant when it comes to preventing stains and followed the wash instructions included on the clothing tag. She was very disappointed (as was I) to see that this bleeding had occurred. She contacted LL Bean regarding this issue and a full refund was submitted for processing.

My regular size is a 10 and the size large top was too tight and the bottoms too big. Disappointed that the color of the top was not as bright as the picture and the pant flannel fabric was thick and stiff. Wasn't sure if it would shrink or soften after washing so the set was returned.

While the fabric is lovely and warm, the first time I washed them in cold water, the ties around the dog's neck color ran. Now, there are splotches of pink everywhere. Had I known this would happen I would have purchased a plain bottom. Overall the warmth out weighs the looks in this case.

Top fit fine but bottoms way too baggy. Not as soft as it could be. Like I said just ok. Disappointed at that price

The bottoms are great; however, the top fit is very disappointing. I ordered a medium in a woman's petite. The top is way too long and as such it is too tight across the bust line. I am very average, but I do actually have a bust line (C/D cup). It makes no sense for this top to be tight across my chest. Didn't even think about trying this on before accepting it. I have always worn a medium LLBean pull over top. Top is actually a nice weight instead of being so thin; but that does no good when it basically meant to fit a person who is at least 5'5".

I bought the PJs with the cream bottoms and pink top. The pants are a little stiff even after washing and fit a bit baggy which I am happy with. The shirt shrunk in the wash even on a cool wash setting. As well the red scarves on the dogs in the print ran a bit on the cream pants which is very disappointing (see photo). Hoping the flannel softens with wearing and washing but the discoloration will be permanent.

I have a drawer full of pajamas in large and extra large. I ordered large and they were way too large for me. Has anyone who ordered washed them and had some shrinkage? If they shrank a bit they would probably be okay.

I ordered the 2x and had to return it. The pants were ginormous but the top seemed pretty good. When the 1x replacement arrived, I was happy to see the pants fit well but SOOOO very disappointed to see there are no pockets in them. My other flannel pants from LLBean all have pockets. I may have to go back to ordering the mens ones instead. The top seems to fit pretty snugly, as other reviewers have noted. It seems their sizing is mismatched.
