The pants fit very large and baggy. The material of the pants is also rough and scratchy. The top is a nicer material but it is much too short. Overall just a very oddly fitting set. Disappointed in the quality compared to everything else LL Bean makes.

True to size, well made, wash well, hold their color and shape. Will buy in other colors.

I normally wear an XL and this was way too big. The material was uncomfortable, the fit was terrible, the quality just not up to par for LL Bean. Sent it back FAST!

I am tall and it is difficult to find pajamas that fit well. The fit of these pajamas was good. I wash my clothing before I wear it. The red from the dog scarf bled all over the white in the bottoms during the first wash. The pajamas bottoms were itchy and uncomfortable. Spent all that money to not be able to wear them and cannot return because I washed them.

It was so surprising to me when I put on these flannel pajamas. I expected the fabric of the pants to be a soft flannel. The material is a course rough cotton, not up to the standards I have come to expect from LLBean.

The top was true to size and fits beautifully - however the pants are extremely huge probably a 3X at least - I am going to take them to a seamstress to have elastic put in the top of them to keep them up. That was the only reason I rated this purchase the way I did, I was dissapointed.

I was gifted a previous set which I loved, so I requested another. The similarities stop at the style. What a DISAPPOINTMENT! The pants were originally huge and felt as "soft and cozy" as a piece of. cardboard. After washing, the pants shrunk quite a bit and still felt stiff, just like prior to washing. Four washings later, the pants have shrunk to the proper SMALL size and still are stiff as cardboard! Very disappointing. Also not happy at all to see that they were made in China. Would never purchase again.

As mentioned by other reviewers, the pants were huge and not of good quality although the top was nice and a good fit. I have multiple other pairs of Bean winter pjs that have been perfect in the same size. Sad to have to return these but the pants were completely unsatisfactory.

The top fit just right but the bottoms were so freakishly big I could have ordered 2 sizes smaller. I also bought PJs for my husband, daughter, and SIL and they too were soooo BIG! I know cotton shrinks but even after washing them they are still really big. So instead of a nice family picture for Christmas in our new LL Bean PJs we skipped it cause we looked so bad in the oversized clothing.

Sizing is way too huge, fabric is horrible, not soft at all, even after washing multiple times. Very disappointed.

It seems the bottoms are backwards. The front is higher than the back. Have a pair of the red plaid and love them, but had to send back the blue and cream.

these shrank out of proportion legs' became almost knee length, and really wide 2 legs could fit in one leg . very disappointed. in the quality waste of money

These look incredibly cozy, but they were stiff out of the packaging. I washed them, and the insides are so itchy. It reminds me of a wool sweater. They are not soft or cozy. I was gifted these so can't return, but it's disappointing as I usually love LL Bean, but the quality of these pants is poor/

The top fits but the bottoms are huge. Nice quality flannel. Disappointed.. they were to be a Christmas gift.

I am very disappointed with this purchase. While the top is great, the pants are huge. I washed them in hopes that they would shrink. They did not. I wore them to bed hoping it was a visual effect. It was not. The pants twisted on me while I was sleeping and so I kept waking up. I have now combined the top with another bottom. I bought a set to be only able to use half of the set. I wish I had read the other reviews before purchasing this set.

I bought these for a gift that I have to give this weekend so will potentially keep them only for time sake. I would not keep them otherwise because they have L.L.Bean written all over them and it is not my responsibility to pay to advertise for L.L.Bean. If that is the case , they should be paying me!

Both the pants and the top have a weird fit. Disappointed with this purchase

I usually wear between a 2x and 3x at LL Bean. The top was fine at 3x, but the pants were huge. Also, the flannel is not the same quality as normal flannel bottoms and no pockets. I wanted to like them since I have a chocolate lab, but I am returning them. I would suggest they stop selling things as sets so that we can order correct sizing.
