This sweater has a great look. It can be dressed up or down. It is a great weight, it is comfortable and warm, but because of the material, it is not overly heavy. It is a truly versatile piece that will get a lot of use

Sweater washes nice, love the pockets and great length. it has a nice weight and can be an all year sweater.

I bought this sweater in every color I could. It is cozy but handsome enough to wear to work with a blouse. Super soft and nicely tailored. I like the pockets. I usually wear an XS but got this in a small for a slight roomier fit. LOVE!! For 69.95 it's a steal.

I like the weight and fit of this sweater, it is substantial and cozy. I usually order size M from LLBean and it was perfect. My only complaint is that I ordered the color "natural" thinking it was cream with black, but it is cream with Navy blue. It looks great with jeans, but is more limited in what I can wear it with than black would have been. I wish LLBean would describe the color as Natural/Navy.

I saw the MIC label and thought oh no.....but LL Bean you have surprised me. This sweater is lovely, hangs very well and is just as the other review said. I also have looked all winter for a cardigan that was not frumpy and bulky. I like the weight of it also for NC winters.

This sweater is absolutel perfect. It's a substantial cotton weight yet soft, drapes wonderfully, fits well, and is appropriate for work or with more casual clothes. I originally bought two colors and then came back to buy the other two. I've been on an unsuccessful search for a good length multipurpose cardigan - they've been either too short or too long. This one is a great length, long enough to go over a tunic but not so long that it looks like a bathrobe. Well done, LLBean.

Bought this sweater in a different color 2 years ago. Saw this new color and had to buy it. Great sweater that looks dressy with black slacks and casual with jeans.

Comfortable, nice color of blue. The sleeves could be a bit more generous. It works over short sleeves but will be tight over long sleeve shirts. I appreciate the slightly fitted look and the length to wear over leggings to exercise classes.

I wear this sweater almost every day. A bit on the heavy side, but very comfortable. It does pill pretty bad though.

Well made, warm, nice color, good fit. I didn't give it 5 stars because it isn't particularly soft. Its stiffness gives it a blazer-like feel, which is fine for the way I dress. Wearing this makes me feel well put together.

Beautiful heavy weight cotton, tight weave, not stretchy. Slim cut. I ordered my usual size large and it didn't close around me, and the sleeves were too narrow to wear over a long sleeved cotton T. I exchanged the large for two sizes up, a 1X. I still wish it were wider but I am keeping it. I am 5'6", 155 lbs.

The cotton ragg sweaters are very attractive, comfortable and warm and can make any outfit look special. I rely on them a lot.

It’s a very nice sweater but runs very small. Nice material soft & cozy. Sent back & when I reordered it was more expensive.

I bought this for my 90 year old mother in law. She felt that the arm diameter was a bit narrow and tight. Otherwise the fabric is great, length is good. Excellent quality

My blouses are 1x, but i wish I had ordered the 2x for a better fit. While not a sweater that closes, when it's cold wish I could pull the sides together for warmth and not just for a good looking top layer.

This is great midweight sweater for milder winter days or spring/fall. It is fairly warm yet the cotton makes it breathable. It has a long length which feels cozy. And the pockets are great! For me it fit true to size; my usual size XS fit well with a roomier feel in the body. Sleeves were long which I like, unlike one other LL bean sweater with too short sleeves (you can always roll them up if needed!) My main complaint is that LL Bean isn't stepping up with more social and environmental responsibility with products like this (organic cotton, fair trade certified factories, etc). I appreciate how they are phasing out harmful PFAS chemicals and hope to see them to even more on the social/environmental front.

I recently purchased this and do like it fairly well. I washed it in cold water before wearing and dried a little on super low heat and then air dried the rest of the way. One thing I noticed is that the sleeves are very tight on my arms and I have skinny bird arms. I'm not sure if someone with more substantial arms would feel comfortable. Also if the arms do shrink more, they will be too short. I purchased the petite as I am only 5'2" and did not want the sweater to come halfway to my knees. I will see how it performs over time.

just the right weight for fall in upstate New YOrk or in Florida in Nov.

I will start with the positives, I like the fabric its thick, warm and soft not at all scratchy. The fit was actually perfect although I ordered a medium and I usually wear large sizes for outerwear. The length is great as well, covers your bum very good for winter weather. The thing I was not pleased is the color, I ordered the color Saddle and on the photo it shows as a bright warm beautiful golden yellow/orange. What I received is a blend of 2 colors a golden yellow and a straw like muted color which was definitely not shown in the photo. Even if you zoom in I cant see the 2 blends and I feel a little bit misled. Also it does shed a bit, hopefully it will get better with washing. I will keep it as I dont wish to go through the hassle of a return and waiting another 2 weeks for my cardigan.

Nice heavy sweater. Good quality material. Just wish it wasn't so expensive !

O I'm not the best person to give a review of this sweater because I live in California and I wanted lavender sweater to go with some tops. The sweater Is serious warmth, and I was just mainly focusing on the color rather than the weight of it. It's a lovely warm sweater For the East Coast. I thought it was quite pricey for how casual it looked, but when wearing it in really cold weather, it doesn't matter that you're casual!

Sometimes you see something that you think that will fit with your lifestyle this did not.

I am 5'1" and the petite length fit perfectly. It's comfortable and easy to wear over a T-shirt. I do wish the arms were a little wider so I could wear a long sleeved top for the fall.

Nice fit, but left lint on my black pants. Maybe need to wash before wearing? Looks nice with solid color tees.
