I wore it once and washed it. The collar came unraveled. I really liked the sweater but will be returning it.

I loved the four sweaters I ordered last year (gave two as gifts)! This year's version is a big disappointment - the cotton is thinner and much lower quality. It pills like crazy right away. I sent both colors of this new version back. Please bring back the high quality of last year's ragg cotton!

Too snug generally. Wanted a more relaxed fit so returned it. Love the tall size however!

Based on other reviews, I expected it to be lighter weight, but it is still a typical cotton ragg sweater. In addition, the sweater is rather long, but then the sleeves too short, which is annoying. Too bad, as the mottled pattern is nice.

I always order size small and this sweater was way too small and sleeves were short. I really loved the sweater so I returned for a Medium. Still fit snug and sleeves were too short! LLBean! What happened? Your quality is not in these sweaters!

I never received it and it mush have been delivered somewhere else

Came with a hole in it. Actually looks used. I will be returning it promptly.

Sorry tall girls, this beautiful sweater is not for us. I bought a Tall Medium and the sleeves are much too short. Other reviewers have had the same problem. L.L.Bean please lengthen the sleeves and bring these sweaters back.

This sweather was shapeless and unflattering and I didn't like it.

nicely made, but way to heavy to wear in any but the most frigid temps.

Lovely fabric and nice weight for the transition seasons. But it shrank quite a bit when I washed it, especially in the sleeve length despite not using hot water. But it was too big to start with so that turned out ok. And I was very disappointed the first time I wore it to see a broken thread and half inch hole in one sleeve. Thought about returning it but see nothing on the website about free returns for defective items. That just added insult to injury.

The color was not as pictured. It was a dull brown wine color. Big disapointment.

I ordered a medium because LLBean said medium was a size 10/12 which should have been plenty roomy but they’re tight fitting & small. The fit is a size small fit & I usually wear an 8/10 medium fit. The sizing is off from all other clothing I wear.

I lOVE the quality of LLBean cotton sweaters. I bought this sweater in a Med, despite wanting a small, due to the too short of sleeves, that always seems to be an issue with LLBean sweaters. Even the Med sleeves are too short! I already wore and washed the sweater, so I'm stuck with wasting another $80. But I won't let this happen again because I won't be purchasing sweaters from LLBean in the future. Sadly, I have been a long-time customer that has been left no choice but to buy elsewhere or waste a lot of money for mis-sized clothing. How difficult is it to listen to your customer reviews and fix the issue?

The sweater fits perfectly, & can be dressed up or down to fit the occassion. I recommend it!

Ordered the usually size and this sweater is too small.Arms too short and sweater has a clingy fit.Ordered small 6-8 size.Disappointed.

The sweater isn't the quality I expected. The sleeves are too short. It runs a size too small. Now I have to pay a return shipping fee because it was made wrong. This is the first sweater I have tried from here. I am getting two others for Christmas. They will most likely me returned too.

This sweater is very scratchy and pills terribly with just wearing once.

I always take a medium but this sweater was too small all the way around. Returns are NOT easy as they say: you have to print a label and tape it onto the bag, print a packing slip and tape the bag shut AND pay $6.50. Not ordering clothing from LL Bean anymore.

Washed on delicate and the sweater pilled like crazy.

Bought this sweater in dark gray. It is pilling everywhere. Not well made and the fabric is subpar.

I loved how this sweater looked, but as soon as I wore it, it began to pill horribly. I washed it once gently but that didn't help. The dry cleaners can shave off all the pills and make it look nice but who wants a dry clean only sweater?
