Expected a looser fit and sleeves were way too short. Will be returning

As mentioned by others, the sleeves are short but that works for me. The problem I have is the funnel neck is miss shaped and hangs awkward on one side. Would like to exchange for another but the color I want isn't available in my size. Will wash & see if it helps.

Very disappointed in the quality of this sweater. It runs small. I ordered a size up and the sleeves are still short and the length of the sweater is not legging friendly. Will wear it as my hang around the house sweater.

The collar is funky and I didn't feel the photo was a good representation. I sent it back.

Too long and too tight in the hips; very unflattering. This rollback style was so much more flattering when the bottom hem was also rolled, NOT a wide knitted band. Color was great, too bad about the hem finish.

I returned the sweater. It looked gray in the photo but it was actually black and white.

This sweater arrived covered in lint. I washed it as directed and there is still a lot of lint. Eventually I will be able to wear the black leggings I bought with it and not be covered in lint.

Loved the heavy weight and design of this sweater. Clearly a quality product, however, the seam at the shoulder was ripped apart. Wondered if the weight of the material was doo much for the strength of the stitching of the seams.

This shrank a little when I washed it (gentle cycle, hung dry). Too snug to wear.

Did not like the fit at all, the sweater it's self was very soft! Set it back for a refund!

I was very disappointed in the color which was called oatmeal but was more of a light pink. Overall it was I'll fitting and not wage quality I have been accustomed to fro LLBean. I returned it and was very sorry it didn't work out!

Loved this sweater but the XS was too large and long

It is more of a tunic length than a sweater. Love it but sending it back because of this.

I ordered a Petite Medium and the sweater I got was definitely not a petite. The sleeves fell way past my wrists, the fit across my chest and back was roomy, and the length went past my hips. I did like the soft knit and color (gray). Since it's cotton, I decided to throw it in the washer and dryer. I kept it in the dryer until it was almost dry, then laid if flat to finish drying. It did help the sleeve length and the fit across my chest and back. It did not help the length very much. It's still too long for my taste. I like everything about it now except for the length, and I decided to keep it instead of giving it to Goodwill.

For a tall, it is not very long. It is also much more snug than advertised. When it arrived, it had loose threads in several places. , which is not the quality I would expect.

I ordered this in a large tall, which is my normal size. I have countless LL Bean items in that size. I could barely get this sweater onto my body. It was super small and so short like, shorter than a regular length. Total bummer.

Nice design but not for me. The color and material are soft and likable, but it clung to my maturing body in a way that was unbecoming. It also seemed to release some lint when I tried it on over a turtle neck. I returned the sweater.

This was way too small for the size. Definitely not tunic length.

I am 5'9" always order tall-tailored sweaters from LL Bean. This is a nicely weighted sweater but the tall is NOT tall at all. Way too short on the sleeves - they were bracelet length on me, and my arms are not freakishly long at all. It also sat higher than expected on my waist. Usually tall fit sweaters reach down past my pants waistband and hit right about my hipbones. This was much much shorter. I actually had to double-check and see if I accidentally ordered a regular fit sweater (nope). It's a decent quality and the navy color is beautiful, but tall women beware - this will fit like a regular fit sweater or maybe even smaller. Wish I hadn't taken all the tags off before trying it on or I would have returned it.

While I like the fit and fabric, following directions to wash inside out in cold on the delicate cycle (no dryer), I find myself with instead of a twice-washed looking sweater but one that looks like it's been worn to pieces and ready for the donation pile.

Not the same quality as in the past, not really worth the cost.
I still have cotton sweaters like this from 25 years ago that are still in good shape, much nicer material, more comfortable, and made in the USA.

I returned this because the large size was way too long. The color had a pinkish/beige hue that I didn't care for. Did not reorder another size because of the color.

I have bought this sweater in the past, and I was very disappointed with the newer version. The fabric looked very cheap and I returned it.

Love the color, but the sweater construct wasn't up to the LLBean standard and why I love their sweaters so much.

I don't know if there is a difference depending on which color you order since many people seem to be happy with this sweater. I have an older version and love it but the cotton yarn used on my older version is much better quality. I ordered this in the Darkest Gray and even out of the package it looked like it was pilling and just overall messy; leaving clumps of black yarn all over. I wore it once then washed it and the pilling was even worse. I think it's just really poor quality yarn. The construction wasn't great either. I noticed that the stitching around the neck was starting to unravel. Pretty disappointing. I expect better from LL Bean and when paying $60 for a sweater.
