The sweater is good quality, weight and color. It is comfortable. After wearing for a few days it did start piling, which was mentioned by other users. I washed it and will see if it continues. I might just need to wash it more frequently but as it is layered I usually wear a few times before washing. Otherwise it is a good sweater and I got it on sale with Bean Bucks so it was a good deal.

The sweater is quality made, but I was expecting lighter weight sweater, while it feels cozy it feels heavy. Perfect size

I'm long-waisted, so I ordered this because it is so long (intended to be worn with leggings I assume). It's actually too long for my preference. I ordered my usual ladies' L, but maybe should have ordered M. Hoping it shrinks in the wash. And it's heavy. But it's nice and warm on our zero-degree days. And the cotton fabric is comfortable.

I love the sweater. It's light, warm and comfortable that warm everything I expect from LL Bean. But I have only had the sweater for nine days and it is already balling up in any areas of friction. This is not up to LL Bean's high standards.

The sweater is very heavy. It also pills after a couple of times of wearing.

I ordered a small, my normal size assuming it would fit as in the picture. I would say it fit like an extra small. I sent it back.

I was surprised that this sweater is a tunic length. I'm an old lady, so I'm not doing the leggings thing, and it looked pretty lumpy being that long over jeans and matronly hips. Sending it back, even though I thought the funnel neck was nice.

I was very excited about the cotton and the funnel neck! But it was too bullky and heavy and long....and I got a petite! for a 5'7" body

I have purchased many of the original ragg sweaters and wish you had left the design alone. It was perfect before.

This sweater looked so soft online but wasn't. The color and texture were disappointing. It just wasn't what I had anticipated.

With its striking, red melange and soft texture, it's a shame that it pilled all over as I first picked it up.

This cotton sweater looks great on and is very soft. My only complaint is that you need to lay it flat to dry, and because it is so heavy and thick, it takes 24-36 hrs to dry.

This is a very cute and comfortable sweater, but if you like the fit as shown on the model, size up. I can wear the x small, but the sleeves are not as long and the sweater is somewhat shorter. I am disappointed in the the quality though. In just one day the sleeves have so much pilling on the inside it looks as though it has been worn many times.

I liked the sweater and wished it fit. I first got a smaller size but too small. Sent it back for a medium and it fit at the top but huge the rest of the way . Sleeves were too long. Awkward. It seemed to not know how it wanted to fit.

This sweater started to pill the first time I wore it -- not happy about that. It's starting to look old. I've worn Bean products for decades and I expect better from L.L.Bean.

I'm not as thin as I used to be but I can still buy a large and have it be roomy on me. Not so with this. I loved the knit and the marled look. I love the autumnal red. But dang it, it was pretty form-fitting through the midsection -- much more so than I expected with a size L. Sent it back.

Based on the reviews I ordered the reg large instead of the petite. It is very baggy, not what I expected since it was listed as slightly fitted. The sleeves are at my fingertips and the length is to the top of my thighs. It also has a weird smell. I am debating about sending it back and ordering the petite as it is comfy and the color ( light beige ) is just what I was looking for. Wondering if anyone else had a sweater smell like mine and that it was fine after washing ( smell maybe from the dye?)

I bought a similar funnel-neck sweater from LLBean about a year ago, and I love, love, love that sweater. I've since purchased a couple of similar sweaters from LLBean, but returned them both. They have ribbed cuffs and bands around the bottom, and they are just not as flattering or comfortable as the original. I'll keep checking back, though, for the design that I like so well.

I usually take medium in sweaters. This sweater was described as slightly fitted(as I recall) so felt size would be good. It was way too large...it should have been labelled large, I can't imagine how it could be a medium. I really feel you should re-evaluate this sweater. I seldom buy on line but have purchased other items such as turtlenecks (small) on line and they are fine. I have purchased other items in your land store and they were true to fit. I was disappointed as I was buying myself a Christmas present!! I did not want to take a chance that a small would also be too large, so did not re-order.

I loved the sea glass color -- absolutely loved it on the page. But IRL, it's a bit dull. It's warm, it's cozy, but it will never be a favorite. For one thing, it has raglan sleeves. My shoulders are wide, and raglans make them look wider. I expected the neck to be higher and tighter (some people said they had trouble getting it over their head), but it seems to be low and loose. I've taken to wearing a turtleneck under it. I also feel as though it will stretch out of shape easily -- it feels less substantial than other L.L. Bean sweaters I own. The tunic length -- and the sweater is quite long -- is problematic for me, since it adds bulk where I don't need it. After a lot of dithering, I've decided to keep the sweater. It will never be a favorite, but it will be a good "nesting" sweater for winter weekends.

It's a really nice sweater but it's a lot more red than I expected...I was looking for something more orange. So if you like red, this will be a lovely addition to your wardrobe!

I really wanted to love this sweater. I bought the red ochre in a large (Im a size 14 and usually an xl in other brands) according to the size chart. It fit perfectly everywhere but the neck. The neck was so tight I could barely get it over my head and it looked silly once I got it on. Unfortunately, this style didnt work for me and I shipped it back today. I wouldve kept it if it was a crew or v neck.

Beautiful sweater design and color (green). But the first time wearing it, and after a day at the office, I noticed that there was a loose, pulled thread on the inside of the neck area, in a highly visible area. Then, I noticed that the sleeves were starting to pill already. I am a long time customer and expect much better quality from LL Bean, so sadly, I had to return this.

I love this sweater but was very disappointed that it shrunk on the first washing. I wish I'd bought at least a size larger to allow for that unexpected occurrence

I returned this sweater. It looked very cheaply made, unflattering and color was dull.
