I love the color of this sweater, (I bought the charcoal,) and the overall look. I was hoping it would work out better than the last LL Bean cotton ragg sweater of similar design that I bought a few years ago, as the weight of the material of both is almost uncomfortably heavy. Yet in spite of that, it feels very cold against my skin. Due to allergies I can't wear the wool versions, which I know would be warmer, so I was hoping that this newer version of the cotton rag would be cozier. It's not. As well, again like the one I bought a few years ago, the sleeves are too short - this after using a delicate cycle, cold wash and drying flat, and that's coming from a 5' 2" 125 pound build. I'm keeping it because I still like the look of this sweater overall, and I can wear it in slightly warmer conditions or with a thin smart wool base layer when it's cold. The 3 stars reflect the design flaw of the too short sleeves and my disappointment that another expensive sweater is not nearly as cozy as it looks. But most importantly, please make the sleeves of your knit sweaters longer!

I just love this sweater. The funnelneck is so comfortable and not restricting on my neck. Just right. This sweater is not too hot. I don't like jackets when I'm driving so I pair this with a outer vest. The gray goes with everything. Don't pass this sweater up. Worth every penny.

Great fit, true to size, easy care and very well made! I ordered two already. I love these!!

It is not a big, oversized sweater as pictured. In fact, it runs a bit small. The model must be wearing two sizes up from her normal size. I am a true medium, but ordered a large since I knew it would shrink. The large fits me just right, but that's before I wash it so I'll need to return it. (See picture.) LLBean request: Some sites list a model's measurements and what size she's wearing. That would be helpful, especially in a case like this. Thanks!

Love the cotton, love the funnel neck, but the version I got a couple of year's ago was far cuter. Disappointed to discover that the rolled sleeve and bottom were replaced by ribbed edges. Also this year's sweater is more fitted, older version was a little boxier and shorter in length. Older version of the sweater was much cuter and more stylish - my twenty something daughter loved it too. Not so sure what she will think of this one.

I got this and a crew neck style. The sleeves are over an inch shorter, on the funnel neck, sad as I really love this style, now afraid to buy another.

Great for Spring and Fall. That's exactly why I bought this. I have plenty of warm sweaters for winter in Upstate NY but needed something for this cold transitional weather. The color and fit are very flattering.

I bought 2, a medium and a large as I was unsure of the size I needed. The large is perfect to wear over a turtleneck and the medium is perfect to wear without an under layer. I love the heft, heavy but not bulky. I'd buy another if I did not already have 2!

Since I live in NW FL this sweater fit the bill for me. I bought this over a month ago & have worn it already. It works with or without a shirt or turtleneck.i would say it's a medium weight sweater which works fine where i live since we get cold weather during winter time. I have washed it inside out per instructions & dried on top of dryer. I'm 5'2 & weigh about 170 & bought a XL & fits me just right. Love this sweater.
