I agreed with the reviewer who returned the sweater because it was shapeless looking on. If you want a correctly fitted sweater it looked baggy and not very flattering. I am between a Sm. and Med. in LL Bean sizing so I ordered both sizes. The Sm. which is form fitting and very comfortable on, in green, from last winter's choices, I kept. The white one in Med. was returned because it was shapeless looking on me but correctly fitted to my shape and the sleeves were too long (model wearing the sweater reveals this). Love this sweater. I might reconsider the med. in another color.

This is a lovely sweater however the size chart is off. I am 5'11" 150lbs and normally wear a size M/8 in all my tops. I bought a size S because the size chart states size S corresponds to size 6-8. The sleeves are at least 3 inches too short. Disregard LL Bean's size chart and order your usual size. I'll be reordering a size M and returning the size S dwarf like sweater.

If you want it to fit as it does the model displayed on the website, I would order up from your normal LLBean size. I typically wear XS in the relaxed fit flannels, and S in slightly fitted shirts and sweatshirts; however, the small in this sweater is a little snug and short in the sleeves, especially compared to how it fits in the picture. Too much hassle to send it back, so I will keep it, but I think it would fit better in a medium. For reference, I'm a 36C, slightly athletic build, but apple shape.

I ordered the petite since regulars were out of stock and it fit perfectly. The neck is not as tight as last year's

I like the sweater color and fit. The only issue is that the neckline is a little tight feeling.

Each time I wear it, it continues to get larger and larger.

This sweater is quite long which I like & roomy in the shoulders but it's tighter over hipline than I like.

It was a little bigger then the med I ordered in almost the same style last year. I washed it and put it in the dryer for awhile even though it said lay flat. It came out a bit smaller so it should fit better I hope

The only problem was washing and drying this sweater. I followed the instructions and hand washed and lay flat to dry. This sweater holds the water so it weighs a ton after washing and took 31/2 days to dry. Even though I liked the sweater I probably won't wear it too much because of the problem with washing.

The sweater looks and feels great. It is tight going over my head and my head is average size but once on, the fit is good.

When the sweater arrived I thought I'd have to send it back, because the collar seemed awry. Instead, I washed the sweater, and the collar is fine. Wearing it today--very comfortable.

I had this sweater in a different color and it's one of my favorites. So when I saw it in this color I thought I would like it too. But the neck on this one was not quite the same and was unflattering to me so I returned it.

I bought this in green, and it is a very pretty shade. The sweater pills quite a bit, so I feel this sweater is overpriced.

The color is lovely, though these do run a bit small. The reason why I'm giving it a three star rating is because the product started pilling after the second time I wore it.

I have had this sweater in my cart for a while now so when it went on sale in the color I wanted (green), I seized the opportunity to snatch it up with a gift card I received for Christmas. I carefully read the other reviews and sized up as I like my sweaters oversized. It came and I'm uncharacteristically disappointed. It's still too snug for my liking and just blah. I have so many other amazing LL Bean clothes, however, this got returned.

This sweater is comfortable and soft. I wish it were a tad longer

I loved the look and feel of this sweater - however even though I bought the largest size, the sleeves were too short and I could tell if I washed it, it would not fit well. I gifted it to someone it would fit.

This one is not as soft as my many others in this style, and it pills badly. This is disappointing, as it's one of my favorite sweaters from LLB. The fit and color were fine.

The design was changed, I preferred the looser fit

Love this sweater; soft and warm. However, it runs small. I'm 5'7", 148 lbs and the XL sleeves are above my wrist bone. This is a constant thing with L.L. Bean. The sizings are all over the place. With other purchases, I've gone from a medium to an extra large. I just know that if I buy from L.L. Bean that I will need to return due to incorrect sizing.

Very comfortable weight, but sleeve length a little short

Ordered the same size as my other cotton ragg funnel neck sweater. The new one is short in the sleeves and snug. So disappointing! Too late to return as it has been washed in cold water and laid flat to dry. Either it shrunk or was sized very differently from my older sweater which I love. Again so disappointing. Guess you can't trust Bean's sizing to be consistent.
