It's a nice down jacket but it's definitely not the quality of LL Bean in the days of old. Using cheapee material and charging more.

I got a Medium, which is usually comfortable for me. However, this LL Bean Jacket feels very tight around my arms and armpits. LL Bean's Medium size is an inch less than other major jacket manufacturer's Medium.

The coats fits nice it's a little fitting but not too much. It's light weight but very warm and this is in a Michigan winter.I'v worn it in All types of conditions it doesn't fail and it looks stylish. My only issue with it is that some jackets in the same price range offer a some type of string adjustments on the hood this one doesn't and no inside pocket and the zipper gets stuck sometimes but all in all it's a great jacket for a great price go ahead and try it out.

Jacket looks and feelx nice but is one size too snug/small.

Great jacket. My only complaint, and reason for 4 instead of 5, is the warm fuzzy lining, especially of the sleeves. I know this makes the jacket warmer and feels great, but my old jacket has a satin-like lining and I have a much easier time getting it on and off. The fleece lining makes this more difficult for me since I have range-of-motion problems in my shoulders. This is probably not an issue with most folks. I also would have liked reflective patches on it. Never know when you might be out at night.

Warm jacket but kinda flimsy. Sleeve liners pull out somewhat when you are putting on the coat. I would have liked a metal zipper too. Otherwise, a nice coat....Would recommend....

Very warm but could use an inside pocket. Needed a larger size because of the 'slightly fitted' cut. Should go back to regular fits.

Wonderfully warm. Attractive. One star reduction only because it really needs a breast pocket on the inside! I'm taking mine to get one sewn in locally.

Very warm and comfortable. The only downsides are; there is no inside pocket for phone or glasses and the lining (though warm) gets caught on fabrics.

It's superbly warm, and compliments received on the first day. My main critique is there are only 2 pockets. Seriously, no chest pocket?!? This is actually really disappointing. Second issue is that while the large tall fits me very nicely, I don't think they made the neck on the hood taller. I'm used to hats anyways but fit shouldnt be an issue buying a tall. Overall I like it. So close to loving it just little details fell short.

Rated it with 4 stars as it is a nicely tailored jacket. Only drawback for the 4 stars not 5 is the sizing. Found the xlg size running on the small size and tight across the shoulders. My usual fit size is xlg. A well made and designed jacket.

Works for the warmth...I bought the men's because the women's equivalent was SOOOO tight around my hips! The men's is only slightly better, but the sleeves are long enough and I could comfortably wear a sweater under it. I tried the women's xxl, but the fit was strange; crazy large in the shoulders so I looked like a linebacker! I have a LL Bean down jacket that's over 20 years old which has been relegated to shoveling. LOL! I really wish they's make that jacket again! Could some of the women who don't have teeny hips get a less fitted version of this coat? The colors are so pretty, too! Wish I could've gotten the women's. ( for reference, I wear most tops in a XL and size 16 jeans, 5'8" and 186lbs)

Great looking jacket, but it was too small. Had to return it

Bought this on sale for my husband in size medium which is his usual size. Opted for the longer version for more coverage. Because of the plush lining in the chest and back the coat was very hard for him to get on. It was also a little tight in the hip area. It didn't have a bottom up zipper for sitting in the car and the lining of the sleeves pushed out the bottom of the sleeve by the hand when putting on the coat. We returned it because he had to fight with it to get it on. Once it was on it looked nice though.

I got a size larger based on other reviews, and it is still snug, even without a mid layer. The lining pulls at your shirt when putting it on. And no inside pockets as noted by others. Warm enough though. Just doesn't fit well.

I bought this jacket almost a month ago for my 11yr son. It has so much feather coming out on the inside. I'm considering to return it. He loves the jacket it's warm and very comfortable only problem is the featers

My husband is a M in Bean coats EXCEPT this one. It was cut differently than the last one he bought and all the solid coats he tried on. This one was tight. Disappointed because Bean is usually true to size and this one is not.

I really like the jacket look, and once it's on, it's great. Getting it on is a challenge. The fleece inside catches every sleeve that I wear. I have to constantly hold long sleeves to get my jacket on properly and when wearing short sleeves, I find myself having to adjust my sleeve from pulling up toward my shoulder. This really is unfortunate because if putting it on was easier the jacket would be amazing. Since purchasing, I have reached for lesser quality jackets just because they slip on easier.

Great looking jacket and warm but the fleece or watever material is in the inside makes it really hard to wear with long sleve clothings. Arm pit area is kind of tight as well. Need to size up.

Hard to get in and out of .Sticks to your shirt . Runs small .It is warm .

The feathers come out of the jacket into the liner and on whatever you might be wearing.

The xxxl fits like an xl. Would've been great to wear

Fit is a major drawback. Ordered an XL..tag says it is XL but fit is tight. Apparently XL is not universal. Do not know where the coat was made? But think the country of origin can impact the fit.
