I bought this for traveling & it has been the best bag I've ever had, every time I think I don't have space in the bag I can just expand it to add so much more to it! I talk to my friends about it all the time especially if they travel or go out on camping trips.

Ideal for those who want to carry the amount of materiel for camping, without being a hiking pack. Solid build quality. Would be nice if there were some way of making a dedicated compartment for a laptop/electronics.

This back pack is amazing and holds a bunch of stuff, the packing cubes that go with it make for amazing storage and organization! Perfect for airplanes or even car rides. Leaves your hands free to carry other objects.

This bag is currently joining me on my interrail through Europe - and it backs perfectly the stuff I should need in its 45L configuration (except the camera itself, though). The bag wirks very well. I would have loved it if there was some pockets for interior organsiation on the side pockets accessed from the outside, and I would have loved it if there were just a wider aray of the mesh pockets on the inside of the main compartment, but generally it works very well. AS a testament to its strength and usability, thouygh: It was lost in the Heathrow check-in luggage delay crisis in the beginning of summer 2022, and was returned to me in perfect condition after a 1.5 weeks of being handled around at that airport. All bits an pieces still fully functioning!

I just got this backpack a couple weeks ago and I upgraded from the 35 L. The main problem with this backpack is that when you expand it all the way open there are no clip holders in the right position inside to keep your pouches organized in the right place, the clip holders are about halfway up inside the bag so all of your items are not on the floor of the bag, which means they kind of dangle within the bag. And the MOST ANNOYING part of this back is that the main compartment does NOT open all the way easily to get into your cubes. If your like me, and have a large camera cube and pack it with lenses and other gear, good luck getting the items on outside edges very easily. I love Peak Design products, but this one could have been designed a little better

Leaving this review in the hopes that they consider a minor design change! Reluctantly returned the bag because I found the handles weren't comfortable to use for carry. Handles integrated into backpack straps, but I would primarily use it as a duffel bag, not a backpack so I had to send it back. The bag is VERY nice otherwise, loved the way it fully opened, seemed sturdy. Suggestion: For a duffel bag, make very comfortable handles for carrying heavy gear and I'm buying one.
