I love everything I've ever bought from Peak Design (and I've bought a lot), but this duffel bag stands out. It's simple not bells or whistles but it's solid, the material feels great, and it's just the right size.

Bought the duffel around a month ago, travelled already several times with it. It is the same perfect quality and ingenuity like the every day bag that I own and compliments it perfectly. I also own the tech pouch, wash pouch and a packing cubes set...the perfect setup for travels for up to 3 or 4 days.

Got the Sage 65L and then went kayak camping shortly after and decided to take the this duffel on its maiden voyage rather than shell out for a huge submersible dry bag. It held everything I needed for 2 nights camping on a reservoir (tent, sleeping bag/pad, food, water, clothes, chair, etc.) It was a mix of car camping stuff and backpacking stuff that weighed about 40lbs total, and the bag held it no sweat. Very comfortable to carry. What REALLY surprised me was the durability. Almost immediately after loading this in the kayak, I tipped the boat getting in. Now, sure, this isn't submersible. Stuff on the inside got wet when the entire bag went under water for about 10 seconds. But once the bag dried, it was no worse for wear. It still looked great, still functioned perfectly, and went right back to being water RESISTANT (splashes are fine, submersing not so much). The tougher nylon on the bottom and sides also held up extremely well to plopping it in the rocky dirt over and over again. This thing took a pounding this weekend, and it still looks brand new. Highly recommended!

The most beautiful duffel I have opened. It is simple, yet beautifully executed. It's the perfect bag to take on a long weekend. Pro Tip: Add packing cubes to make this a genius bag.

NEVER FELT THIS HAPPY WEARING A BAG SINCE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. Don't want to take the bag off of me. I feel like an active kid about to start the school, interested, and excited to go on his first day. It is quite capable for 1 week trip (with the compression cubes). I also personally think that this bag was not bad if you have to commute from hotel to hotel, or place to place. Function and quality compare to price, me personally think this is the best valuable bag from PD. Material are good and solid, I believe it's durable and strong. It collected some dust but also very easy to clean it. Capacity is spacious, it still have a space after packing cube medium and small. (in my case it's a medium cube and 6L sling, and it still able to carry more like jacket, towel, or even a bedcover at the top of it). The backpack configuration is great, I don't agree with people who said it is uncomfortable, it's TOTALLY FINE! Yes, it doesn't have breathable ability like hiking bags, but it did a great job when you need it. I also don't agree with people complaining about those handles are being uncomfortable. Yes it could be better, but it's totally not that bad, and it will be fine when you know how to grab it. Try to play with it a little, I made both handles tangling to each other a little bit, and it will be fine. However, at the maximum or heavy loaded this starts not to be my favorite carry configuration, not because the handles, but the bag sort of big and bugging my side. I'd prefer using the pull handle if I should hand carry it (not for long time, maybe like just in a queue). My favorite configuration is cross body carry, I'm 177cm 70kg, and the bag fitted my back very well, I feel don't want to take it off. And also, I can reach the quick access pocket at my side very easily without lifting the bag or put it off. A small cons : removing the straps or handles from the loop is hard and painful. It's do able, but I was struggling on my product. And afraid will break the loop one day. Not a deal breaker because I may not change it that often, so they better leave it strong attached. A future improvement for PD : - In cross body carry configuration, I found that it's very possible to add an additional waist strap by attaching it to the loop that has to be the place for default shoulder carry. - Of course handles magnets need to be much stronger than now.

I bought this bag for a week-long roadtrip. I bought the larger size and planned to pack for myself + 3 kids. Let me tell you - this bag is roomy and easy to carry! It fit everything with room to spare. I plan on using it for my kids and I for many more trips.

This is a truly well-built, beautiful bag. The compartments are thoughtful, hooks are in just the right place, and there is a lot of opportunity for customization with other Peak Design accessories. I bought this for my husband to use as a daily work/workout bag. He used to take no fewer than 3 bags with him to work-one for lunch and his water growlers, plus two travel coffee mugs. Another for workout gear, and a third for his laptop and work items. It was all very disorganized looking and didn't reflect the professional he is. This bag along with a couple of dividers consolidated everything. He LOVES it.

The stylistic design and material of this bag is amazing! Everything feels very high quality. This duffel also maintains its regality when it's empty and so the sides won't completely collapse in on its self. The quality and detail of the bag is top notch. I've used it as a carry on bag three times. Otherwise it's my daily work bag varying my helmet, flight suit, boots, and a few odds and ends of medical equipment for a flight medic job.

This duffel is extremely well designed. It sets upright and open nicely while packing it which is super helpful, and all of the zippers work so smoothly. Fits a ton of stuff, is comfortable to carry, and holds up just fine to being tossed around. Been using it exclusively for getaways since we got it!

I bought this bag a year ago and have been very happy with it. I've taken it on weekend trips mostly - the size works very well for that. Lots of nice pockets to store different items. The colour options aren't the best but they're alright. I really like the muted green of the Sage. Works perfectly as a carry-on on airplanes too - and the hook system makes it easily convertible into a backpack that works comfortably as an alternative carry style especially if the bag is below 10 kg and you're not walking very long distances.

Picked up 35L duffle and have been really impressed with how well it works: lightweight, looks great and has excellent organisation making it a lot better for living out of. As everyone says though, the magnetic handles are really bad: uncomfortable and don't stay together. I will say, I liked the 35L enough that I bought the 65L which doesn't come with magnetic handles but a wrap around hand grip that makes the handles comfortable and keeps them together. Peak - please can you make this standard on the 35L and make the handles with the wrap available to folk who want to upgrade their 35L! It's so much better and I'm sure a lot of folk would want it.

I've been using their backpack for years now and have been blown away by the durability so I decided to get the duffel as well. The build quality on this is even better. I love that it's made of recycled materials and that this company quite literally checks every box for what a company should be doing.

The bag looks really nice, and the materials all feel good. The handle magnets are a cool touch, though they could be a bit stronger. The side pockets are convenient, but I wouldn't mind them being a big roomier. Overall, I really like it. If it holds up as well as the backpack, I expect to be using this for quite a while.

Bought for travel duffel that would stand up to a beating - totally delivers. On ask is to make a version with a separate shoe compartment. I have the shoe cube, but would prefer a built in zipper

I got this bag a couple months ago and really love it. Super well built, sturdy and good volume. You can integrate a PD cube in it for gear and still have room for clothes. Corners fold down to give a larger opening when open. A super great bag and glad I got it.

I've been using the duffel for about 6 months and it's very versatile. I use it for night trips, weekends away, for flying, at the gym, at the lake, basically everywhere. It's durable and still looks brand new. I wish the duffel had a laptop compartment or sleeve. When I carry my laptop, it either goes in the main part of the bag with everything else I carry (leaving it open to scratches, etc.) or I carry a backpack specifically for holding the laptop.

I've used this for a few short trips and overnight stays. It is a well made bag with some handy pockets. Depending on the light, the sage can be grey or green. Would love this in a navy.

I bought this a month ago and have since brought it to many outdoor trips. The leather feels a bit too stiff but it really adds to the overall quality of the bag. On top of that, the big compartment is highly visible making it very easy to organize things especially when paired with the peak design packing cubes

I have been using this duffle for almost a year now. It is perfect for long weekends and even week-long trips. I have received multiple compliments on its stylish design and it has held up very well. The zippers have never had any issues and I have not noticed any damage to the seams of the bag.

I'm an old hand with PD bags and backpacks. This is my fourth one. And it's the best one yet. I feel like, when compared to other bags like this on the market, it's an even better value and quality versus other bags than other PD products. And that is saying something. It's got incredible build quality, looks fantastic, and is so versatile. Most versatile bag I've ever carried.

I've had a lot of toiletry bags but the larger PD bag has been my favorite. My wish was to have a smaller version for shorter trips and to fit better with my Peak Design Travel Bag. Out of nowhere they announced this bag and I snatched one up as soon as I saw the email. Three trips later, it is everything I wanted in a smaller toiletry bag-- origami dividers, dedicated toothbrush pouch and washable. The best part is how well it works with my travel bag too. I can have a medium and small cubes then add this at the top of the bag area. It's fantastic!
