Grabbed the 35l for my partner who was traveling weekly with 2 smaller bags and they love being able to fit everything into the single bag.

Ingot this bag last Christmas and I've loved it for the year I've used it. I travel frequently for work and this bag has held up through it all and looks amazing! Materials are top notch and the bag does not have any scraps and little to no scuffs. The bag is also a joy to use in the age of single bag carry as it is carry on sized but big enough to fit a week's worth of clothes. The bag is a great size and I've never had a problem being it onto the plane, while I've seen airline attendants litterally turn people away with the suit case style carryons. Great product and 10/10 would recommend. Thank you peak design!

My sage green duffel goes with my everywhere. I've had this bag since its launch via Kickstarter and haven't regretted it a day. The bag is big enough to hold multiple packing cube volumes, and I can get 4 of the large size ones in if they aren't too packed up. It's made incredibly well, just like all the Peak kit I own. You can stuff it, toss it about and be sure its going to hold up to whatever you can throw at it. I've set it up to hold 2-3 days worth of clothes for my wife and 2 kids, and it excels at this. If it's just me, I can get 5 days worth of clothes, my toiletries bag, and my tech bag with zero issues. The outside pockets are good for smaller items, but when the bag is fully packed with packing cubes, there isn't a ton of room left to use these for larger items, but it will hold a call phone, small books/magazines, or some of the toiletries you need quicker access to. A protip for the handles - even if the magnets are a bit weak, if you clip them together and then twist the handles around, the strap will be MUCH more secure when using this carry method. You can always opt for the nicely padded shoulder carry strap instead though. The only quibble I have here is the carry straps can be reconfigured to do a backpack style carry, but this never works for me. When fully packed, the straps are just too short for my body type and I have to move them back. The straps are easy enough to pop off and move back though, and I'm sure for someone this is a great carry option. When Peak Design got into the travel bag business, I knew I'd love their take on a classic duffle bag. If you travel, often for for longer periods of time, this is a great one bag option for individuals, or a shorter multi-day bag for small families. Big shout to the PD crew for great products!

I bought this item one year ago along with some packing cubes as an everyday bag. I use it for going to the gym, as carry on luggage when flying, commuting to work and have lived out of the bag for 5 day trips with the bag strapped to my motor cycle. The quality and workmanship is excellent. I have the black bag and love the colour. Love the simplicity of the bag, one zip to the main compartment and that's it. The side pockets with organisation works great and i use these for my tech gear. Shoulder strap is comfy as are the carry handles. I have used the carrying handles in backpack mode for a 40min walk twice a day for 5 days with just some gym gear and an iPad inside and its doable but I wouldn't like to do it again it just not comfy. I have since purchased the 45 travel backpack for occasions like this. I love the bag as it suits my needs and would recommend peak design gear to others. If Peak Design is reading this I have a wish. I would love if you made a top box liner for the BMW adventure luggage something simple like the duffel in the same material, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE.

I purchased a 35 liter duffel bag online and am using while traveling in mainland Japan. I have used it as a carryon bag for the flight and it works amazingly well. I can all my items perfectly! All my clothes and electronic items fine. The design is perfect for walking around and going onto the trains and subway with no problems. I really enjoy this bag! I was worth the purchase!

I bought this bag in or around 2018 - I'm only writing the review now because I recommended this bag to my brother, and realized it was criminal that I hadn't posted a public one yet. This badboy has been with me to 10+ countries, been thrown in and out of every size of airplane, and generally been my bag of choice for everything that comes up. I have dragged it through immigration lines by the strap, and have worn it as a backpack because I had my hands full. It feels like a small bag, but somehow holds everything... like it always manages to hold everything. I tried tons of different specialized bags to use for getting my pilot's license, and this thing (surprise!) holds everything perfectly. Weekend bag? check. Month long trip? Rock this guy plus a backpack or carryon. Which brings me to the *only* flaw I can think of. It doesn't sit well on top of a rolling suitcase. The bag will want to slide off the top, and can tip over the whole arrangement when you're on the run. Also, and I can't explain this with anything other than witchcraft... it looks *exactly* the same as when I bought it. 11 out of 10.

Very hard to find a decent multipurpose/format day/weekend bag around 30L at this price. I switch between backpack and hand carry almost daily and it's very easy to do. The zip pockets and interior pouches are super useful. I travel a lot for work (1-2 nights away at a time) and this is ideal to pack everything I need as a holdall and to unpack at the hotel and use as a gym/day bag in between. It's light, rugged and the magnets and secure zips are a nice touch. I love the colour (sage) and I haven't found anything that comes close.

After 3 months, one of the side pocket zipper-pull broke off. After reaching out to Peak design they directed me to go through the warranty process. I received a brand new replacement bag within a few weeks. It was a pretty seamless process. Overall the bag is fantastic. Love all the pockets and carrying versatility. The one critique would be that the magnets in the Handel are too weak. I highly recommend travel duffel.

When plans were released for a travel line I was very much looking forward to seeing a product of this kind. I was not disappointed. It's extremely durable and I love the amount of space it has! I got the 35L for weekend travel use but combined with the packing cubes I could easily stretch to a long weekend/3-5 days of use. The multiple carry strap configurations are an awesome feature. That green color is sleek as well. Two thumbs up PD!

Bought it 2 years ago and it's holding beautifully. Handles have developed some patina but a lot of the bag looks like new. Main compartment zipper is reinforced and does not het floppy/wrinkly, making zipping/unzipping easier and getting into the bag easier. Plenty of compartments and and carry styles thanks to many attachment loops for shoulder belt and handles. Handles do dig in into shoulders though if you carry heavy stuff. Also, magnets in to keep the handles together hold the handles quite poorly. But it's really all the nitpicks I can think of.

I travel for work with a 2 bag system and basically live out of this bag and a backpack for my laptop etc for a couple weeks at a time every month. It's just the right amount of space for me and let me tell you it is rugged. I'm not easy on this bag and it looks brand new after months of weekly use. I've only had one issue where I lost a strap and even though I was at fault customer support took care of me and got a new one right out. I honestly can not say enough good things about this product, the CS I received, and this company as a whole. Great gear and people!

I've used this as my main bag and as a complement to a backpack. Works well with the PD cubes but also with other packing systems or just loose items due to its flexible structure.

I bought the 35L duffel bag in sage about a month ago and have used it three times. The quality of the bag is top notch. I love the feel of the materials and it's durability. I am able to get everything I need in the bag for a weekend and/or five-day trip. It is comfortable to carry and doesn't feel too big. I mostly carry it by the handles because I also travel with a 20L backpack. The only con about the bag is the tote handles. The magnets are not strong at all and barely hold together. But this is minor and not a deal breaker since the bag has so many other great features. I would recommend the duffel bag. The sage is a beautiful color.

I bought my bag one year ago and use it very frequently. The product is well thought and designed. It has all the pockets I may need and is great to handle, hang and store. Two problems so far: 1. Using it as a back pack is very hard because the straps are not adjustable. This is the main low point. 2. After one year, the metal parts started corroding. This is obviously not great, but the product warranty has addressed it. So no worries there

I bought this duffel last year when we relocated from California to the Midwest to take care of an elderly family member. We loaded up a 16foot truck and headed out on Route 66. This was my main bag for the trip and it worked out great. I was able to use this for in and out of motels along the way. I was somewhat careful with how to treat this bag, but realistically, I tossed it in the back of the truck several times, and even with the every day abuse of traveling this way, the bag held up wonderfully and looks brand new. As with all of the design products, this is another outstanding bag.

Purchased the 35l duffel to help with photo cubes I bought. I have the medium and small camera cube. They fit well in the bag. Living in Florida this bag great for use at the beach and other shoots. No worries with setting on the ground when picking it up dirt, etc stays on the underside. Love having access through the top. Also great having a duffel for kick around use. Just pull the cubes out.

Good bag for overnights. Magnets on the handle could be stronger or the handles from the 65 liter bag that has the velcro wrap would be better. Other than that no problems.

Like everything Peak Design makes, this will exceed your expectations. It's quality, and comfy, the straps work nicely, and the leather accents look great. There are multiple ways to carry it, sling it, throw it on like a backpack, or grab it on the nice leather handle with your hand. As for size, It has enough room for me pack at least for ten days. I highly recommend using packing cubes to get the best out of it. The only con is the price, but being organized on a trip and the build quality is definitely worth it. I'm looking forward to getting many years of use out of it.

I have gotten so many compliments while using this 35L sage duffel. It's a distinct look that looks clean. Materials feel high quality and durable. The duffel does have a bit more width to it than I thought, which is great for capacity but may take some adjusting to aesthetically when you first get it (when most people see it from the side though you cannot tell). My last duffel had almost not organization. This duffel has good balance between the side pockets having small organization details while the main compartment and large side pockets maintaining the focus on holding larger objects. This duffel swallows up so much volume, yet looks sleek still especially when the magnetic sides are folded down. My only gripe is with the handles - the magnets are too weak to be functional and the shape of the leather does cut into your hands a bit.
