I purchased in the SF store and received excellent guidance and hands-on help. Ultimately we discovered that the everyday backpack was not going to fulfill my equipment needs due to the fitting of my equipment and how I wanted access to it (the problem being me wanting to stow my PD tripod inside the pack vs outside and still have easy access to my gear when opening the side pocket). It just didn't work out and feel right. So I returned the purchase. Would not hesitate to try PD bags again but ran out of time that day.

Bought the 15L awhile back and have used it on several trips now. Also an owner of multiple other PD bags.
Size for the plane is great, and bag gives me enough room for my legs since i'm on the taller side. Love the look, love the functionality of the zips (truly, it's awesome). Great construction and it's been very sturdy. The dividers are neat but take up a little too much room for me in the 15L, but definitely useful.
My only small complaints are: 1) the straps flap everywhere and could really use the magnets PD uses on other bags, and 2) i would prefer if the bag would slide over my carry on bag vertically instead of horizontally. Hope PD at least does the magnet straps in the future.
Either way, if you don't have one, buy it.

I bought the 20 L backpack zip for a trip to Australia after seeing it on a Pack Hacker review on YouTube. It did not disappoint! I LOVE the look of it! (I bought the gray.) And I l LOVE the thoughtful design. I flew Delta Comfort, and it fit horizontally under the seat in front of me leaving me plenty of leg room. The side access was very convenient while flying, and the side carry handles made it very easy to pull it out from the seat in front of me and off of my suitcase when using the luggage pass-through. The top access pocket was perfect for my passport and wallet. It performed equally well in the city and in the rainforest. The FlexFold dividers kept everything nice and organized. I used the external carry straps to secure my jacket to the front. I also used one to secure a water bottle hanging on a carabiner from the top front loop. I have a large water bottle, and wish the side pockets had been a bit stretchier so I could have fit it in. I had the main compartment pretty full, so that may have been part of the problem. My husband it is a big guy and likes to carry backpacks low. He said the straps weren't quite long enough for his liking, but I'm sure they would be fine for most people. In between trips I plan to use the backpack to carry my mirrorless camera gear.

Finally, a backpack that I don't get lost inside of. I know where everything is. The side open pockets change everything; you can now approach your stuff from three different access point. I call it access triangulation. Never looking back.

I've had the 15L for over a year now and it has fit a perfect gap between my 30L and sling bags. For a day out with friends or family it's pretty perfect. Easily carries my camera kit (Fuji X-Pro with some primes), a sweatshirt, water bottle, snacks, iPad, even a coffee tumbler. It also works nicely as an airplane carry-on if you're worried about the larger bags being gate checked.
I do like the side access, but I've also found that putting lenses in the side pouches works really nicely when I want better access. I've also been amazed at how much I can carry for a long time in a backpack vs. a sling bag. The backpack hurts less after hours of walking around.
I did have an issue with a magnet in a side pouch coming loose and falling to the bottom of the fabric, but it was relatively easy to slide it back in.

Love the structured shape which really helps maximise the space inside. Also helps to see inside clearly when accessing gear. Great quality on all the materials. Compact enough to not look like a huge backpack.

Not using this as a camera bag, but it has completely replaced all my other bags including my Everyday Messenger 15L. I used to just throw things in my bag and spend ages fishing them out but with everything in its own dedicated area, I've saved so much time and also my gear is much better protected. It fits my 15.6 inch laptop and my Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ along with a tech pouch, and other everyday carry items. The bag feels more compact and lighter than my previous bag and even though its smaller, since the space is more utilised it feels like it carries more. Definitely recommend

I have had this product since it came out, and it has not dissatisfied me in any way. The build, the structure, the size, the features are all what you'd want in an everyday backpack. I've taken it across Europe, India, and America.

I bought the 15l in ash specifically for two trips this spring and I was not disappointed! The bag kept me super organized for a work trip and fulfilled all the various needs during a 3 week trip to Europe.
Being able to reorganize the inside based on changing needs is a fantastic feature. It went from a carryon bag with all my travel needs to a hiking and picnic pack to a city pack with my camera safely stowed in every scenario.
So happy I went with my gut and spent the extra money on this one. I'll be using it very happily for years.

Getting ready to take a flight for a quick family event and wanted to bring the camera and a few goodies. Also needed a new general all around for fun shooting bag. You know, for when I want more than just a camera but don't wanna take the whole studio.
This bag fits the bill and the profile for both. Perfect for the airplane and little to medium photo safari trips.
Can pack a camera, a couple of lenses, windbreaker and some road snacks - easy peasey!
I also discovered that my MacBook Pro max fits too!
Now, the debate is do I really wanna bring the laptop? I mean, it will grift. But, then I will feel guilty if I don't actually want to do work while on the road

Just wanted a smaller everday city bag but the 45L version seemed to big for.
I decided to go with the Backpack Zip 20L and I am more than happy with.

high quality
The design of the backpack pleases me a lot, I am one of those people who like simple but useful things and I think this design is it. It is also very comfortable, it adjusted to my size. Very useful to carry various things, both in my day to day life and when I go to travel on weekends, the quality of the materials is great.

I bought this bag to be my personal item for a trip to Europe, and I am SO glad I did! I chose the 20L pack and it was absolutely perfect. The things I like best: the structure of the pack is on point. Rigid enough to hold its shape, but it's still flexible. The top zip compartment was perfect for in flight necessities, and the back zippered compartment held my kindle and passport securely. Overall, love this bag!

Have been using the 15l for the past 6 months. Great size for solo trips to the city. Easily fits a laptop, water bottle, umbrella, full frame mirrorless camera with mid size lens (24-70mm). Can stuff a small coat in if needed.
Bought the 20l for days out with more than one person. Seems to fit a lot more than the 15l. Is a great size for an everyday backpack. Would recommend the 20l if youre only buying one.

This bag is the only backpack I need for everything from carrying my camera around town, headed to the office, day trip to a park, hike in the woods, and even a diaper bag!
I have been through so many brands of bags and none checked the box for all the things I needed them to do. Since getting the Everyday Zip, I've gotten rid of other packs and ordered the travel bag for longer trips or when traveling with a toddler.

I can carry everything I need when flying my Z7, 24-70 lens, 24-200 lens and Z50 with 18-55 lens. Also holds my 85mm lens, travel tripod and laptop. Room in the top for a sweater and a snack, phone, wallet and passport. Works great when hiking. But usually carry a little lighter load. Lots of room for water, snacks and extra layers.

I have used this backpack for my urban birding walking trips to take my camera, binocs, water, and snacks and it is just perfect. I have the 20L (5'5", older, sorta chunky) and it works well with my body size. today I used the extra hip belt and that was great for support while walking to my destination (around 6km total trip). I also used the extra sternal strap and that was helpful to balance the quick-release camera clip on the left side. I love how everything fits together and is streamlined for efficient use. You can organize the interior so that it works for your equipment--so flexible and easy. This is the best back pack for birding that I've ever used!

I've had this bag a few years now and I still love it.
Comfortable to carry, easy to get at all compartments and versatile.
Looks good too and doesn't scream 'camera bag'.
Quick to adjust so it fits just right over all clothing.

I had bought the travel backpack a few years ago and and loved it so much I bought the everyday backpack with our first born to be my go to Dad bag and it works great! The customer service has also been excellent as they have gone above and beyond supporting their product when I needed assistance.
