There are so many little touches that make this a great backpack. I actually had to watch the YouTube video they emailed me shortly after I received the bag to learn about most of them.
Holds everything I need for the work day (computer repair technician) and then some. Much better than dropping everything I own in the parking lot and struggling with my keys every day. Feels premium. Works great.
My only complaint is that the tag with the serial number is borderline impossible to read. It's a very minor gripe, but I'm unsure how I'm supposed to read the tag without just tearing it out of the pocket. I'd really like to register the warranty, although the overall durability of the bag makes me doubt that I'll need it.

Bought the 20L about a month ago. Holds baby gear, camera gear, books, and a 13' Macbook with ease. This backpack has single handedly improved my dad game to superhuman levels.

Used it for about 6 months now and it's easily the best everyday carry bag that I've had. Built well, incredibly customizable, and just so well thought out from a design standpoint. Liked it so much I purchased another one for my dad and then also got the tech pouch as well!

While on the expensive side, still a good value. Confortable, very good use of space, very adjustable to my needs.

It is quite simply the perfect backpack for my needs. I've been looking for such a backpack for quite a while now - I needed something between a camera backpack and a regular backpack for my laptop and books. Finally, I found it. It exceeds all my expectations and has every feature that I need.

I recently switched from the original messenger bag to the Everyday Backpack. It was one of the best decisions I've ever made (hyperbole much...) The pack is sleek, comfortable, versatile, beautiful, and fits so much more than I expected. Favorite feature, ease of access to whatever I'm trying to find.

I bought my first Everyday Backpack when it was launched. The versatility, the quality, the love to every tiny detail, the feel, the overall experience, the love which went into this product could be felt immediately. Thank you Peak Design Team for one of the most amazing product line ever made.

I bought this bag about 2 months ago after thinking about for many months. I'm new to photography and now realize that there's lots of stuff that I need to carry. I did research on more bags than I can remember. This bag was my choice and I am thrilled with it.

I bought this backpack about 6 months ago, and it is perfect. I have used it for everyday use in college, carrying my gear while doing event photography and videography, traveling, and long hiking/exploring trips. You have to get used to the side access, but once you do you can access your items so much more easily, even on the go without having to take your backpack off. Also, the way it is customizable to fit ANYTHING is so amazing! I usually keep two sections on the bottom for my usual every day carry items, and then I leave the top section open. If I have something small like a 50mm lens to toss in my bag, I can put up a divider and keep it secure. If I have something large like several jackets to toss in my bag, the extendable top flap can help me fit it all in there easily. And if I really need more space, the external straps help me carry it all. I am yet to run into a situation where I need to carry something and have not been able to fit it securely in my bag. The carry straps on the outside (top and sides) help me take it off and move it around super easily, and I don't have to be super careful to set it down gently becuase I know my gear is padded and well protected with this bag. I could not be happier with this backpack!!

I've used this backpack for years now and it's amazing. I love how easy it is. I'm a musician and I use it for gigs, putting cables and microphones inside. I use it for traveling, I use it for going to the grocery store. Sometimes I put groceries inside of it. This is so versatile and I am a bag lover, this is truly my favorite bag. I do go between the 20L and 30L bag. It depends on the day, I am a crazy person and have both.

I purchased this bag a year and a half ago and have used it as my go to travel bag ever since. It's incredibly flexible to meet the needs of various different trips and holds up well to wear and tear. It's just the right size for a personal item on a plane and is easy to attach to luggage. The side access zips in particular make this very easy to access on a plane.
Recently, the top metal latch-point for the top/main pocket came loose. Within 24 hours of sending an email, Peak Design sent out a brand new bag.

I discovered your company when you released your viral video of the everyday sling and Amazon's blatant rip-off. Since then, I've fallen in love with your products. Our family now owns 3x everyday backpacks, 2x tech pouches, 1x wash pouch, and 1x travel duffel 35L (and will likely continue to expand with time).
I love the everyday backpack so much. I placed my tech pouch in the bottom compartment, and it fits perfectly (no surprise there knowing you guys). The origami dividers work very well and allow for a large range of compartmentalizing. I've even found a few places to stow away stuff that the backpack probably wasn't designed for it, but works great anyhow.
- The magnetic flap on the front towards the bottom of the backpack holds some straps in there, but I was able to also put in a pair of gloves should I ever need it while out and about. You can't even tell I put something in there.
- When you undo the velcro strap to readjust the height of the laptop compartment, I found that you can hide a small folded-up drawstring backpack in between the two velcro lines. Again, you can't even tell.
I appreciate the quality and deep thought put into everything. It really shows. Sometimes I've loaded this backpack so much that it could hurt someone's back if they lifted it wrong. However, I have such confidence in the strength of the straps (and everything else) that I don't have any concern about swinging it around onto my back and the possibility of it breaking and falling to the ground, damaging everything within and ruining my day.
I love that the top flap has multiple places to latch to expand or collapse the height.
11/10 would recommend for an everyday backpack.

Found this bag via YouTube and while I'm hardly the target audience, I wanted it for its adaptive interior and space. But when I got it, I found so much more to appreciate. Magnetic straps to the bag body to keep them out of the way, front hook to help heavy loads, lots of small inside pockets as well as adaptable inside shelves. This bag is very pricey but so far it's very worth it. Should last me a long time.

The Everyday Backpack is really well made and the features are really well thought out. I didn't need a full camera backpack as I just wanted a bag to hold my mirrorless camera with one extra lens for chasing the kids on outings and vacations, and this bag serves that purpose well. The side access is fast and works well and while I didn't think I'd use the MagLatch much, it's come in handy to stuff the kids' jackets into the bag when they're not using them.
So far I've only had two minor issues. First, I haven't been able to figure out how to set up the compartments so that a smaller prime lens doesn't just bump around all over the place. Second, I used to use a sling bag that I'd be able to just swing around my body when I wanted to sit down without taking off the bag. It's still sort of possible with the Everyday Backpack, but since it has a hard shell, it's pretty bulky to hold on your lap.
None of these are showstoppers though, and really just small nits, but for the comfort, functionality, and high quality materials, it definitely lives up to the hype.

The magnetic latch (and magnet pockets and shoulder straps) and the origami dividers are what makes this bag for me. The fact that I have the option to either have a ton of different sections or a completely wide open space, is amazing. What a versatile bag. The other thing I really appreciate about this bag (and this company), is the attention to detail. This is a bag, yes..but it's also a piece of art! Ever since I received the everyday backpack as a Christmas gift last year, I have bought 3 more peak design bags. Definitely a lifelong customer!

I love this backpack! It stores all the lenses I might want for a trip, two bodies, tech gear, a raincoat, phone and wallet. It's the most versatile bag I've ever had and I love that I can go out in the ever-present PNW rain and everything stays dry. Just a great, comfortable bag.

I've travelled the world with this single backpack. Functioned from a lunch bag to storing medium format cameras shooting at a glacier mountain. Knowing there is a lifetime warranty, to this day I believe this factor alone is worth the investment. You invest in a PD product, they re-invest in a lifetime warranty. Well done, Peak Design.

I watched a half hour video about this backpack before buying it. Then I go to use it and learn even more features about it. Everything is so thoughtfully designed, from the magnets in the straps to the fact you can have a tripod bulking out of both pockets on the left and right and still open your bag from the side. It is so beautifully and thoughtfully designed I love it. I traveled to a different state recently and was able to pack enough clothes for 3 days, plus pack my camera, my laptop, and my iPad all into my backpack. Didn't even need a suitcase. I am falling in love with you guys and how thoughtful your products are made. THANK YOU

I was on assignment traveling throughout the EU this year. I made the mistake of taking my older, other brand backpack with me on the first few trips. I then invested and bought the Everyday Backpack V2. The difference in quality, design and ease-of-use was striking. I felt like I upgraded from a used Pontiac Aztek to a Porsche 911.
Peak Design thought of everything. So many things I flagged as problems from the previous bag were integrated as useful, intelligent solutions on the EDB. The external carry straps, quick-release top flap, magnetic should strap keepers. All of it. Traveling with a ton of gear went from a nightmare chore to actually kind of enjoyable.
Like my 6L Sling, I absolutely love this bag and evangelize for it wherever I go. I even ran into another photographer in Warsaw on my flight with the same backpack. We gave each other a satisfied look and confident nod. No words spoken, but we completely understood each other. Thanks for making this bag.
