The problem with other packs is that there is no vertical stratification- you are always digging down into in deep compartments. PD has solved that with the dividers and sode openings.

I thought about buying it for far to long and didn't pull the trigger. I bought the 20l version 1 1/2 years ago and should have bought it when I first wanted it abou 2 1/2 years ago. I love everything about it, the lock, the protection it provides for my camera and laptop, the quality of the material and all this little hooks to "extend" the backpack when I need to carry an extra Jacket or something. My Advice: If you what to have this bag, don't wait, buy it, its worth every buck!

I bought the original Everyday Backpack through the kickstarter campaign years ago and used it daily for camera stuff, laptop, general everyday duties. It held up quite well until finally the zipper broke, but Peak Design sent me a replacement without any hassle.

I originally owned the Everyday Backpack v1 which was my trusted companion for more than 5 years. After everyday usage one of the zippers broke, but after a very swift conversation with customer support it was replaced under their lifetime warranty and I got the new version of the backpack. There are clear improvements in the new compared to the original version. The best improvement is the adjustable laptop pocket and that there is space for documents, which is essential as I use it for work. Highly recommend this backpack, both as a work and leisure bag.

I shopped around quite a bit to find a bag for my everyday carry for both work and personal stuff. So far this bag is absolutely amazing!! The build quality is great and the organization options are incredible.

For years I've been trying to choose the perfect backpack for me, every time I had to compromise on features or looks. I'm not a photographer anymore but the compartments arrangement works really good for a casual everyday, and the style and features are TOP!

This backpack looks great and works even better. The attention to detail is incredible and makes a difference: for example, the back straps are magnetized so they don't drag on the ground when you hold the bag on it's side. The magnetized inner pockets are great too, allowing easy access while keeping things safe. Finally, being able to adjust the levels in the backpack makes it really versatile. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Just like with everything else from Peak Design, the Quality of this backpack is outstanding! It's a very versatile backpack as you can configure it to your needs. Great not only for photography but for traveling as well!

I bought the v1 backpack a few years ago and was very impressed with the bag itself. When one of the straps started to break, I messaged peak design to see about a replacement strap. Instead they sent me a whole new bag free of charge. I couldn't recommend their brand or products highly enough! They're extremely well made, and I love supporting a brand that treats its customers so well!!

I'm thrilled with my backpack using it both as a daily driver and a travel bag. The side opening design makes getting what I need a snap and I can't believe how great the quality is. My only slight misgiving is that the laptop pocket doesn't quite fit 2 laptops, which is Avery noche thing to me. Laptop and iPad or notebook, perfect, but two laptops not quite.

The only thing is the black version attracts dirt like a pig in a pen. It gets so dirty so fast! But otherwise... Got the 30L bag, and it's fantastic for carrying stuff. Easy to make comfortable on the shoulders, and great configs for all my stuff. Taking it as a carry on the planes is a breeze and it looks nice and everything is accessible! I like it... Just the black... so dirty.

I have used the V1 for almost 2 years. After much wear, I decided to upgrade to the V2. It is significant improvement over the V2. Easier to use. Better laptop compartment. Internal pockets are easier to access. The extra compartments for sd cards within zipper area is great for organizing.

Bought this bag a few weeks ago to act as a bag for university and photography and it has been great to use. This bag is so well thought out. Not only does it have places for the things I use everyday it has pouches and little pockets for keys or my favorite the small easily accessible phone pouch. The build quality is also great it's very comfortable and easy to clean if it gets dirty

So, I did not buy this as a camera bag, but my son was in love with it and wanted to used it as his college backpack. He got stuck in absolutely torrential rain. It looked like he had jumped in a pool and taken a couple laps. But, EVERYTHING inside his backpack was dry. Not a single drop made it into the backpack. This is not only a very stylish, comfortable and durable product, but it's water proof.

I have several products, (anchor links, lens holders, hip pads, backpack, messenger bags 13" and 15"...) and I love them all. Great quality, and even greater after sale service : recently was offered as a replacement the new version of the Everyday backpack, and I am thrilled. Really nice backpack for traveling although if you wanted to use it for photography the whole thing is padded. The only thing I would say is it's a little bit heavy if it were a bit later that would be fantastic for traveling. But it fits nicely it looks great and it's very functional I love the top pocket and the access from the sides.

I received this as a winter holiday (Christmas) present from my family in 2021 and it has been absolutely indispensable for my pro DSLR (Canon 1dx + large lenses) and everyday work (tripod, peripherals, etc.) I have also used this quite a bit for Domestic travel within the U.S. and the wide range of options to access the pockets is a real game changer on full flights and on trains & buses. The one thing I did note, is that because there are so many ways to access the contents, is that I was hard pressed to be able to secure my belongings with luggage locks while traveling overnight on International trips. Given that this is a real "edge case" for using this backpack, but some accessory or anchoring that allows the zippers to be conveniently and reliably locked with traditional luggage locks would be most helpful.

I bought this backpack to carry my laptop, tablet, meds y toiletries. Highly recommend this because of the materials quality and construction.

I have purchased a Everyday Backpack V2 for both everyday carry and also photography gear carry. First of all, it is necessary to say that this is a Premium product. The price is completely justified by the excellent materials and build quality. For what concerns the usability, the dividers allow you to customize the back depending on your need. 5 Star products and strongly recommended.

...but when I do it's for a very good reason. Peak Design is one of the the good ones. The zipper broke on my V1 and I was devastated. I manhandle my stuff, so I was pretty sure it would've been pointless to contact support for help since my overuse of it caused the break anyways. I decided to call anyways and to my surprise it was covered under warranty but they could not fix it. When the service agent asked me if I wanted a version 2 as a replacement I was floored. I am much happier with the V2 and the redesigned zipper ensures I won't have any issues there ever again. That was the best part. Any company that keeps putting out the same flawed product year after year obviously doesn't care about it, us, or our environment at all. Peak obviously goes above and beyond in every aspect and deserves a standing ovation. Thank you for the best backpack I own and the best service I've ever received.

I bought the Everyday Backpack (v2) exaclty one month ago and also got some similar backpacks from other companies as well to compare and compete against. There were some amazing clampshell backpacks as well as travel backpacks

I picked up the Backpack v2 in blue for the school yearl last year. It has been the best bag I have used. It does all the things I need it to. With the velcro dividers included you can arrange it how ever you end up using it.

I bought this 2 years ago and I still love it! The flex fold dividers make it so easy to store and access all your gear. You don't have to empty out half the bag to get to stuff at the bottom. Makes going through any security checkpoint much easier.
