This is the first time I buy Saucony, the sizing is small compared to other brands. I buy size 6 in other brands, therefore, I order a 6 size in Saucony but the fit is small so it is very likely I won't use these shoes.

I put hundreds of kilometres on my Peregrine 11's, but unfortunately I do not find the Peregrine 12 as comfortable - there are more pinch points in the mid foot, perhaps from a more stiff fabric, and the arch seems more pronounced. However, I do like improvements to the shoe tongue and the laces stay put.

Great arch support. I am not sure about keeping these. They don’t look as well made as the other pair of Saucony Odysseus Run. But the yellow color is very cool. Nice tread and plenty of room in the toe box.
I'd also recommend:

More narrow than 11's. Very slippery material inside. I cannot wear wool socks as they slide around too much. Sole is also more narrow making it kind of tippy and has caused me to turn my ankle. Tread is grippy and laces are nice. I prefer the 11s

Upper canvas is too soft compared to last model. Preferred the more ridgid canvas.

I bought 2 pairs of peregrine 12 and loved the comfort unfortunately the fabric is not durable and ripped on the side of the shoe on both of pairs that I bought :(

I exclusively use Saucony trail shoes and unfortunately the Peregrine Ice trail shoes caused knee pain which I have never experienced before. I switched to another pair and the pain went away.

Not enough arch support! I'd worn out several pairs of a previous version of this shoe a few years ago and decided to rotate back to it again. As usual, I can get a wide in Saucony without the heel slipping up and down, it has enough room in the toe box so that it doesn't rub the top of my big toe, and it's high enough above my arch so I can still tighten the laces but it doesn't hurt. Unfortunately, there is just no arch! So if you have a flat foot and can handle this, I highly recommend this shoe. Otherwise, nope. Returned these but kept the Brooks Ghost.

I really hoped they would fit similarly to the Kinvaras, which is my favorite road shoe. I found the Peregrine to be a much tighter fit in the toe box, and they crunch my feet. I loved the Switchback before they changed design, now that one is too loose. I guess I'm just Goldilocks with "this one's too little and this one's too big"! I love Saucony, but can't seem to find a trail shoe that fits well anymore.

Comfortable shoe, lovely bright turquoise color, just can’t get over the dumpy looking rounded toe box. It was unflattering for me so am sending them back.

I bought my first pair of these when they first came out in February '22. I love these shoes. They have an excellent lockdown with plenty of room for the forefoot. The traction is amazing and the cushioning is light and responsive. They also look great which is always a plus. However, within 150 miles, the upper completely separated from the medial side overlays. With 4 inch gashes on the inside, it was nearly impossible to run in them. I had seen a few reviews stating the same problem, so I assumed it was a defect batch. I got another pair but was disappointed to see the upper coming undone in the same spot within 200 miles. I have only heard a few complaints of this problem, so I'm not sure if this is only a problem with a specific color-way (the vizier gold) or maybe that my slightly wide forefoot puts pressure on that spot in the shoe. Nevertheless, it is really disappointing to not even get to 300 miles in a pair of shoes. It is also a sustainability issue if shoes have to be replaced so often. I really hope future iterations fix this problem, because this is a great shoe otherwise.

I don't know what happened to the peregrine with this version! I had purchased the Peregrine 12 twice, most comfortable shoe I've owned. When I bought this years model something has happened to the quality, comfort, and sturdiness. They feel very flimsy and unsupportive. Much less padding at the tongue and ankle. I am constantly having to clear small pebbles and gravel out of my Achilles. The fabric has worn out at the toe crease after wearing for about 2 months. If I could go back to the peregrine 12 I would.

I love last year's peregrine 11. I thought the 12 would be better, but I find the toebox area narrower this year and the material on the top too thin. Also, I preferred last year's lacing. It seems sturdier and more rugged. Also, the finger loop on the tongue is too small. Last year's loop was bigger and easier to use. Also, last year size 9 fit me perfectly this year it's too small.

These shoes have amazing traction but the only downside to it is the tongue rubs the the top of that area really bad if you are wearing low socks. The only way around it is to wear high socks to prevent it from rubbing the skin. The other thing is the sizing is all over the map. I bought myself my regular size and it was 1 size to big. My wife bought her regular size and it was 1 size to big.

I got to try peregine 12 yellow today at Pasadena trail run race for 10miles trail run.
I normaly wear size 7in saucony. I got size 7.5.
Pro: great color! Vibrant yellow color that looks awesome in person. Great ankle support and easy shoe lacing. Also loved the immediate support I felt while wearing. It's not crazy cushion feeling like Hoka, but not super flat either.
Con: not enough cushioning while trail running or stepping on the strones. After a while when I ran on the road (part of the trail was hiking up, running on trails then road) it was hurting the front of my feet. I was able to finish the run but at the end I made the verdict this wasn't the best shoes due to lack of cushioning to run long miles. Don't recommend for road running.
On the other hand, I wonder if this is a great shoes to wear for cross training such as crossfitters who have running in their wod. I'm also a crossfitter so this thought went across my mind.

This is my third pair of these shoes and the first time I've been disappointed. They are less waterproof and the rubber of the sole is harder, making for a harder impact. I've used these for winter running for several years, but not sure they are an appropriate choice now. Not sure if it's batch specific or if they've made a change to the whole line.

I bought via a social media campaign because I liked the look and they are an attractive shoe. I've never bought Saucony before (previously Asics, Nike, Muzuno). I won't buy Saucony again. I don't typically need a wide shoe. These Saucony shoes are too narrow. Arch support is poor. After a 60 minute trail walk, my feet were very tired. And for a "Trail" shoe, there is ZERO resistance to water. I realize that running shoes generally aren't supposed to be waterproof but these are actually worse than my normal running shoes. A single drop of water goes straight through. Very disappointed.

I've been a solid Saucony fan for a long time...for almost 20 years. I have flat, narrow feet and they've always seemed to be my go-to for road and trail running footwear. I've always had excellent experiences but the last three pair of Saucony's I bought (one inexpensive pair of road runners which I can't remember name of, my second pair of Saucony MAD River TX trail shoes - my first pair were flawless, but second of same exact shoe fell short somehow, and finally the Saucony Peregrine 12) have all been so disappointing compared to my previous 20ish years of experience with the brand and all of these were purchased during last couple of years....maybe Saucony is just going downhill? I don't know. These Peregrines were the worst of the three. I waited patiently and pined for these for a while before risking it and buying them with reservations and my reservations were justified. I was so disappointed. I understand the structure around the shoe meant to protect the foot from trail terrain is made with good intentions, but unfortunately, it just leads to a rigid and extremely uncomfortable shoe. Blisters any time I run more than a 10k in them. In the winter, I could barely feel my feet except for pain because the cold causes the rigidity in the shoe to feel almost plastic-like. I had to bail on these in favour of Salomon trail runners for the first time. I'm so disappointed. I don't think Saucony will be winning me back after a third strike. I'm sad to bail on a brand I used to love but they don't love me back any more.

The soles of the shoe are not durable for trail running. The stripe in the heel tears apart from the rest of the sole and collects rocks. Not very comfortable. I've put about 50 miles on these shoes on the trail and am not impressed with the lack of durability. Not a wear and tear issue, a design flaw.

Not very cushioned. The back is super high and does not have a v or u cut like my old rubbers so it rubbed until I bled. May be specific to my heels but not sure they will soften enough. Treads and laces are great.

I returned, sadly. I wear an 8 and sometimes an 8.5. I ordered these in an 8.5 to be on the safe side . I have narrow feet, high arches and I couldn't even get these on, they were so tight and small.

I loved my Peregrine 10 and was excited to try the Peregrine 12. I took them on a trail run yesterday and unfortunately now both my achilles are cut up and have raw skin. The back is so high it cuts into my achilles. I was so disappointed and really wanted to love them. The shoes felt nice otherwise but I can't wear shoes that cut my feet!

Very disappointed. Does not feel like a Peregrine. Feels like it's trying to be a racing shoe. Not sure what happened?

I run and hike in Saucony and have for years. I bought these to replace my last pair of Saucony trail runners which I loved. These feel fine except that there is a strange gap at the ankle that cannot be fixed by moving the lacing down a notch. This means that with each step the shoe gives at the ankle and feels totally unstable. The rest of the fit is perfect so it's not a size issue. I wonder if this is just an off pair. Will be calling customer service to see if they can offer a solution.
