Very comfy. Great lateral support. Can only wear a thin sock, or no sock. Great breathability. Love the grippy soles and stability on technical terrain. Not as cute or as comfy overall as the Peregrine 2’s were. Would love a bright yellow or peach color on the soles (like the Xodus)!!

Super support all day. I'm a Crossing Guard and need to make quick dependable foot movement. These Peregrine give comfort and support all day so I can do that. Provide sure footing on the forest trail too!

I have a narrow foot. Not quite an official narrow width but close. This shoe fit me fairly well, only a little wide in toe box. It was lightweight and had good traction. I am looking for something with a little more forefoot cushioning. The orange color is much brighter than the photo. It is neon safety orange.

I was looking for a versatile hike/jog trail sneaker. I ended up choosing the Brook Divide, but if I was only looking for a serious trail running shoe this would be my top choice. The Peregrine fits like a glove, the heel seems to have a drop, and when they're on your feet you just want to be in motion! It's a beautiful shoe.

Very comfortable shoe for my first miles back on the trail in a few years. Narrow toe box, however, so beware wide feet!

Love this trail shoe! This is my third pair of Peregrines and they are a great trail and winter shoe. Tread lasts FOREVER and I usually blow out the upper before the tread gives way which ensures great traction for the duration of the shoe. Super comfortable right from day one.

These are neon orange - if that's what you're looking for, then great. But they are super bright - and I love orange. They run a bit longer and narrower than my older Peregrines. A little too big and too neon so headed back

I purchased these shoes for walking but didn't realize how slippery the bottoms were. I almost bit it on the pool deck at my granddaughter's swim meet. Family members had to hold me up like a little old lady. Otherwise, it's a nice shoe but I probably would not purchase them again.

Love these shoes!
The tread is great for snowy winter running and has a nice "sticky" grip.

A great shoe overall but the fit needs some tweaking. It's not super comfortable initially. The tread is great. I wore these for hiking and trail running and didn't have any issues as the terrain changed or being on pavement for a short time. I love the color scheme and all the color options available. I have less than 100mi on these shoes so maybe they just need a longer breaking in period. After this pair i think i will go back to my trusty Nike Wildhorse.

Shoe is comfortable, but very structured and runs slim. I have a very thin and narrow foot and it is slim on me.

I want these to be 5 star but they're just not that comfortable. I love the colors but even in a 1/2 size up they very easily lace up too tight and my toes go numb.

I've always run in Peregrines since I've been trail running and have owned the 7s, 10s and now the 12. I have the Campfire colorway and I love the ridiculous shade of orange these are (trail shoes SHOULD have amazing colors) These shoes fit my foot like a glove, provide excellent traction and with the rock plate have solid protection for rough terrain. They also drain incredibly well. All that being said, would it hurt Saucony to not make the heel cup so dang stiff or to add some cushion inside it? Ever since the 10s the heels on this style have been rigid to a fault. Without the flexibility on uphill climbs as I push up and the shoe pulls down a touch in the back, it puts pressure against the back of my heel resulting in blisters and bruising. My feet are a little on the narrow side which is why I prefer the Peregrines. It seems for the 12s they stripped the shoe too much in favor of less weight. If they're going to make the heel cup/back rigid they need to provide a buffer around that area. The 7s were a great example of just enough cushion in the heel without being a hinderance (also the material inside the shoe could do with some durability upgrades).
I would only recommend Peregrines for technical trails and nothing over the 50ks distance as the padding isn't sufficient for much over 30+. The 12s will require a bit of a break in period as usual, but it's rough so far. Here's hoping Saucony gives the heel area a little more comfort with the next version (and a slightly bigger toebox).

My Peregrine 12 are very comfy and have solid grip in the trails. I was used to a very lightweight trail runner so these were a change but overall these are a solid, comfortable and do the job especially on the rougher stuff.

These seemed more narrow than other Saucony shoes even though I ordered a wide? A piece of rubber on the lateral part of the shoe rubbed my toe uncomfortably. These did have more cushion and more arch support than other brands. Disappointed I couldn’t make these work. More color choices would have been nice.

Much narrower than earlier versions of the Peregrine. Good support, grippy sole.

Really wanted these to work. Wanted some more stack height, and the toe box was tight. Contrary to other reviews, I had to order a half size up from my regular size.

I purchased these to wear for a few shorter (< 26mi) technical trail races this year, looking for a fast, responsive and grippy shoe. I've put about 100mi on them over pretty gnarly terrain - slick mossy boulders, mud, steep inclines, snow and ice - and they have performed very well. I even spent 4hrs bushwhacking in them and my feet never got sore. The tread is excellent, comparable to Salomon sense pro 4, if not better, and the rock plate dampens the impact without being too stiff. They are a truly neutral shoe and felt a little flat on longer road sections.
I usually wear size 7 in road shoes, I sized up to 7.5 to save my toes on the descents and they for perfectly.
The only downside is the nasty blister I keep getting on my heel right at mile 8. I've not had blister problems with any other Saucony so not sure if something is different in the heel counter. Would like to see a slightly tighter upper to reduce the heel slipping.

I like everything about them except the grip. They slip on any kind of smooth stump or rock. Very slippery on wet rocks. I cant use them for trail running because I am constantly rolling my ankle. I guess it's the lugs... they are probably great on soft soil or sand but unfortunately that's not the type of trails I run on.
