I purchased these for a 100k I'm running in 5 weeks. I've been running in the Peregrines for the past few years but this will be my first race over a 60k so it was time for more padding than the Peregrines could offer. I've only ran a few times in them for training runs and the sizing is off. I wish I would have read the reviews before purchasing them. I normally wear size 8 (which is a half size larger than my normal shoe/sandal size) but these feel like clown shoes. My midfoot slides around and I'm concerned I'm going to injure myself. My 100k isn't extremely technical but has a lot of stairs. This wouldn't be a terrible shoe if it were sized right so I recommend ordering your normal size.

I wear Saucony running shoes and they fit fine, but these were slightly large. In addition, the tongue and ankle comes up too high and rubs causing irritation.

Picked these shoes up for a 50km Trail Race, and they performed perfectly! The cushioning is very high but they still run like a lightweight race shoe. After ~100km they feel great on my feet.

Saucony always fits me great. I have a high arch and narrowish foot. These are worth every penny. They are lightweight, breathable and I love the attached tongue. They hug my foot nicely and the bottom treads are heavy duty so no slipping on trails. The color is fun and different, and I’ve gotten many compliments already.

Love the bounce! You can really feel the PWRRUN PB foam on every step. I use these shoes for trail races (7km to 10km) and for every day hiking. The shoes are holding up pretty good, the outsole shoes a little wear after about 80km

These shoes are very comfortable. I always like the Saucony brand and have purchased several pairs in the past. This was the 1st time I ordered shoes online because I had a problem finding then in retail stores. I look for shoes with a roomy toe box and these fit the bill. I'm able to walk many miles without pain from toes being uncomfortably squeezed together. They are well vented and fit true to size.

I've been wearing the Xodus model for over 10 years. During that time I've needed both knees replaced. My PT is very glad that I wear Saucony shoes. I believe my recovery from knee surgeries went smoothly because I could trust the stability and fit of the Xodus.

Amazing shoe. I have run hundreds of rugged trail miles in this shoe and am just now needing a new pair. My feet do not feel sore after >15 miles of trail for the first time. Toebox is nice and wide to let toes give balance, and the heel narrow enough to lock the foot in. The lugs take a long time to wear down. I cannot recommend highly enough.

I absolutely love these. I've run hundreds of miles in these now and they are so comfortable. Enough cushion and great traction in the mud and on rocky trails. Highly recommended.

I only have about 60 miles on the shoes, but so far, I love them! I am flat footed and over-pronate, and finding supportive trail shoes has been difficult. The firmness of these shoes and cushion give great support, and combined with my arch supports, I haven't had any injuries or pain. The toebox is just slightly narrow for me, which results in some irritation to my pinky toes, but I'm hoping they will stretch out a bit over time.

Huge difference for technical terrain and long distance!!! My feet really feel the difference, overall is light but that extra support than the Peregrine 12 allows my feet to manage difficult terrain much easy

Nice running shoe. The only issue is that the heel collar is a bit too stiff causing it to bite into the bottom of my ankle on my left foot. Kept bending it back and forth to break it down a bit, and so far it seems to have done the trick.

Been training for a 10km race and noticed at 8km my old shoes just weren't giving enough support. So I reluctantly decided to by news shoes and best decision!
Finished 9 km without breaking in and noticed a huge improvement, no rubbing and great traction off and on trail.

These are like a trail version of the Endorphin Speeds; springy and fast feeling! Running in them is peppy and fun, with enough agility to handle root hopping and tight singletrack corners. I sized down 1/2 from my Endorphin Speeds for a more secure upper fit, but would probably go TTS for anything over about 3hrs. I finally feel like I've found a shoe I can use for all types of runs and feel protected without feeling like I'm wearing tanks.

Generous toe box, snug fit through ankle and midfoot. Cushioning is super comfortable, light and a little bounce, feet and shoes still felt good after a 50k.
Fits true to size; my friends who went up a half size found them too large.

Xodus and Peregrine's have been my favorite trail shoes for a very long time. I typically select a half a size up at sz 9. This Xodus Ultra at a size 9 was too roomy for me, the ankle collar hurt as well as the inside seam on the sides of my feet. BUT, I loved the cushioning and decided to take a chance and return for a size 8.5. I'm very happy with this size! The stability is better and the cushioning is exactly what I was looking for!

I bought these to replace my Brooks cascadias which I loved from the second I put them on. They have been great for runs of ten miles or less. I did a 30k in them last week and by mile 11 the outside bottom of my right foot was killing me. I was about crippled by the time I finished. I had the same exact experience with a pair of Hoka Speedgoats. Will wear them for short runs but on the hunt for something better for long runs. I bought my normal size 8.5 and that fit was great.

I tried these after wearing the Peregrine for a few years as I wanted more cushion underfoot without getting bulky. The comfort in the outsole is there for sure, but the upper is not as stable as the Peregrine. Sizing runs big - rather than going up half a size like I normally do with running shoes, I should have stayed true to my normal size as I can feel my foot slipping lengthwise. Overall, they are comfortable and a good addition to my options, but aren't as great as the Peregrine for the technical trails that need more lateral stability.
