The shoe is actually a very fine shoe with one exception. The biggest gripe I have is that the outsoles are trash. After a few weeks of runs they're completely slick and worn out. I understand planned obsolescence in product design, but the lack of a decent shelf life makes Saucony running shoes a bad purchase. This isn't restricted to kinvara 13s; it's been the same for previous versions and a few other models I've tried.

I have had Kinvaras for 6 years and have always loved them. I just got a pair of 13s and am no longer a fan. The heel counter doesn't hold your foot in, the shoe is very narrow and it just doesn't fit as good as they used to. I ran a 10k in them and I think I'd rather run in my Nike frees.

I have had St Patty versions before and thought this looked cool in the picture. Shoe had little form and support. Returned it the next day. Customer Service kept part of my refund for re-stocking fee. No way to retain a customer in my opinion.

I returned them immediately. I wouldn't buy them again.

7.2 oz is not light. Light is 5 oz. Getting there if under 6. Saucony makes light shoes. This would be like running on pillows. Slow. Way too much stack height

After running through several pairs of Kinvara 12s I assumed the 13s would provide the same ride. That is false, I only got about 50 miles on these shoes before I realized how badly they were hurting my feet and I can no longer wear them. Nearly a brand new pair of shoes that will go to waste.

I've been a loyal Saucony runner for years and the Kinvara 12 is easily the best shoe I've ever had. The new 13 is very disappointing, however. The toe box seems to be a lot narrower and I find my toes getting pinched to the point where the shoe is unwearable, even for walking. I don't have wide feet and I was hoping they'd break in after a few runs, but no luck. While these shoes aren't overly expensive, it's still lousy to feel like I wasted my money.
