My first pair of Saucony running shoes. I have been a lifelong New Balance and Nike running shoe wearer. I recently bought a pair of Saucony trail shoes and hikes around 20 miles on hard trails. Loved them and was so impressed, I decided to try the running shoes.
I have about 60 miles on the running shoes now and have noticed an incredible difference over my current Nikes. They are significantly lighter and my calves and shins don't tire as quickly. I feel more supported in the proper locations and can run farther with less fatigue.

One thing I always liked about Saucony, other than performance, was their attention to detail. They seems to go out of their way to coordinate the laces to the color of their shoes. So I was disappointed when my pair of Kinvara 12 didn't have the color coordinated laces. I was further disappointed when I logged in to see that the picture of their New Neutral did have color coordinated laces. False advertising, to say the least.
It didn't stop me from ordering a new pair of Kinvara 13 but another disappointment and I will be looking for a new brand to be loyal to.

After wearing innumerable other running shoes, I have to say the Kinvara 13 is the first to feel like an absolute extension of my body. It is perfectly aligned w/ my foot strike, whether easy pace to pick-ups, it disappears. I do land mid-foot, and at ~130lbs I don't really destroy shoes, but I usually feel the heel and the toe-off. not in the Kinvara 13 (or the 12, for that matter). If it wasn't for the cushioning - which is ample - it feels like I'm barefoot. I should also add, that over the last few years I've dealt w/ plantar fasciitis issues, periformis problems, and perineal strain. Obviously, I've been in the wrong shoe - either too much or the wrong last. The Kinvara has resurrected none of those issues. What a relief. The shoe moves w/ me - no superfluous additions. Thanks to Saucony for keeping it in the product line. I heard the Saucony design rep on Doctors of Running talking about the necessity of the Kinvara, and the light came on!

Fits and has good turnover like previous Kinvara models. Really like the upper as it's light yet supportive. Looking forward to many miles on this pair and will buy another pair soon!

I saw Seth DeMoore do a review of this shoe and had to try it out! I just ran an easy 4 in it today and it felt incredible!! The lockdown, the ride, the look, it was all working. I used to be a Hoka guy, but Saucony has won me over on this one. This will be a good shoe for speed work, tempo, and even easy runs.

Great shoe, but it doesn't last long. Not durable.

A very lightweight shoe that comes in a wide array of colours and sizes. Not a lot of stability in the shoe itself which makes it not a good choice for people who over pronate while running. Also not a ton of protector around the ball/heel or soul of the foot compared to other models.
Great for up tempo or speed work for 6 mile distances or less.

The minimalist design of these shoes works for my running perfectly. I went from a heal striker to more mid-foot striker some years ago. Shoes with material felt almost like obstacles. I kept 2 pairs of these in rotation. Average running at about 120 km/month, these shoes held up well. The light weight uppers do degrade faster than other shoes I have owned, but by then I was moving on to new shoes. They are not good on icy conditions.

I like the low drop shoe and that is why I can wear these. I wish the soles were a bit thicker though, as they are too flat. Needs more stack height to be a five star. I am glad the shoe sole does not curve like so many models are doing these days, because those disrupt my gait and affects every body part with pain. Thank you, Saucony for these simple shoes.

Typically wear the Axons but loved the colors on these. Wear at 12.5 and it was ok but more narrow on this shoe vs the Axon. Switched out for the Endorphin and will be buying another pair of those very soon.

I've worn multiple pairs of the Kinvara 13s. They are by far my favorite running shoe, they just are the perfect fit/balance for a running/training shoe. My drawback is, the glue connected the sole is just weak. So is the fabric mesh on the side of the shoe. If I do any workout on a track, or when it's wet or after it's wet. a.) the sole slips around. Or b.) out of the 5 pairs I've bought, 3 of them have ripped (in the side mesh portion ) during a workout. All of which the pairs only had about 150 miles of light running on them. Saucony do you have an answer? Thank you for this awesome shoe!

Shoes feel good on tempos or intervals. I'm not sure I'd use them for long runs. They feel good on the feet with minimum cushioning. It is a change from the larger drop shoes I'm used to. That's not a bad things it's just different

I'm not much of a runner anymore but they do help me get through my 6 mile walk each day. Very light and comfortable on old feet. I've gotten several compliments on the looks also. Over all, nice 4 star shoes.

The Kinvara is my go-to running shoe. I bought the VIZIPRO to run early in the morning or at dusk/night, and it's been great! My only issue with the VIZIPRO is that the laces are different from the non-VIZIPRO Kinvaras I have. They easily came undone, even when double-knotted.

I've been using this shoe for about a month and it is AWESOME. It is super lightweight, breathable and the cushion seems durable and responsive. My only complaint about the shoe is that it seems a LITTLE narrow. I've never had wide shoes in the past and I don't order any of my shoes 'wide', however, I do have a flat foot. These seem to slightly squeeze on my inner arch. It's not bad, and eventually it goes away after about 5 mins warmup, but I do notice it every time I put them on. Overall I would give this a 4.5/5!
