I run the trails in northern Arizona almost daily. No chafing, no smell, and the perfect length as to not inhibit movement. I have run thousands of miles and these are far and away the best shorts I have ever worn.

I've been wearing these shorts for just about everything since the weather has been a little warmer lately. They are great for running, hiking, or just wearing for about anything. I love the fit and feel of the inner boxer brief.

This is the most comfortable and versatile short I own. Great for the gym, running and paddle boarding! I sized up to the Large for the extra room in the lined short.

I have been happy with this product so far. The liner is comfortable and supportive. The shorts move easily and don't bunch up. These are great workout shorts.

These are some really nice shorts. Easy to move in for gym workouts or yoga. Also fine to wear around town. I like them so much this is my second pair. Actually third since I have had a shorter set for quite a while for summer running.

Nice running shorts. Good support without being too tight. Wool brief has odor control.

Comfortable light weight short

These are my favorite shorts. I bought all the colors. Although, I will say, to get to this end I had to cut the liners out. This was not a big deal to me and I love them now #sweepstakes

I have these and the 5" shorts as well. This pair has normal side pockets and a zippered rear pocket that fits my phone. The quality is excellent, and I appreciate the boxer-brief style built in liner. My only complaint is that the elastic in the waistband is relatively loose. I removed the drawstring and replaced it with elastic cord to tighten up the waist, as I prefer the waistband to feel a bit tighter and I like elastic better than a drawstring.

This is my second pair my daughter bought me one for my birthday I like it so much that I bought another pair with different color I wish they have more color.

These shorts are crazy comfortable I have a hard time with lined shorts because I have above average size thighs, but these are not restricting at all and the liner doesn't ride up.

This short is so comfy. The liner on the inside is soft/thin and breathable. The outer layer is light and the light grey color is great for summer/spring. #smartwool love

I have both the 5 inch shorts as well as these, and I might like these ones even better! The liner is the same comfortable, breathable merino, but longer in these than the shorter shorts. Definitely will be stocking up on a few more pairs! #smartwoollove

These check all the boxes for my when considering shorts. Pockets (2 front, 1 back w/ zipper), stretch, & a liner that is not too tight around my legs. I have never had a pair of shorts with a liner made of wool, but after this experience, I think it may be hard to go back to anything else. The very thin & soft wool liner is short enough to not be a nuisance, but long enough to do its job & not ride up while I am moving. I have worn these at the gym, running errands, and around the house almost nonstop since they arrived. The pinch of color from the Smartwool logo adds just the right about of pop for these shorts to be casual, but not too casual. #Smartwoollove

These shorts have exceed my expectations. I'm usually not a fan of 8 inch shorts (I usually prefer 5 inch) but these have been great. I like these a lot for casual wear because of the side pockets. I wish that the legs fit a little slimmer (but I have small legs) but that's not a deal breaker at all. I also love the merino liner. It's the first time I've tried merino in short liner and it works beautifully. No chafing or irritation. #SmartwoolLove

I compulsively excercise 2x a day. That's a lot of laundry. Not anymore. I finally found a pair of shorts I can do it all in, with a wool liner, so I don't have to do laundry 3x a week and stink my car up. Appreciate the pocket on the butt. Wish there was a phone pocket in the liner for running. That's the missing piece. Also, similar to frame-less TVs, it feels like the waistband isn't even there, great fit, great product.

These are my favorite shorts - that Merino wool liner is totally legit! Wasn't sure about the full length liner, but now that I've tried it, I love it. The liners in these shorts resemble high quality boxer-briefs and really offer an additional level of comfort. The liner dries out very quickly, doesn't ride up, and you can wear them several times before you'll feel the need to wash them as they are nearly odorless. I don't think you can go wrong with these shorts. They fit great and look great, and are very comfortable for casual, everyday wearing, as well as those long grinds in the gym or on the trails running or hiking.

These shorts are OK - the liner is soft and not too snug or tight, which I appreciate. I ended up being in-between sizes (I am 6'1", 160 lbs and a small was too tight in the naughty bits but a medium required that I tie the waste to stay on). They are quality shorts, and the liner is a nice touch for those who like to save their undies for another day, but unfortunately these were a return for me. #sweepstakes
