I am a huge Hoka and Altra fan and have been running in the Clifton . the I preferred Altra but after the Torin 5 disaster I stock piled as many of the 4.5's as I could find. Wanting a better toe off to my run I started wearing different brands which I knew would be a mistake especially since I have a neuroma (have since gotten treatment and relief thank God! ) and anything over a 5 drop is not a good idea for me. I had wanted a trail shoe and so I finally picked a pair of the Peak 6 and from the second I put it on I did not want to take it off and now own three pair! I had them on from work and decided to walk my dogs and did a little jog with them and was surprised at how good my feet felt . To cut it short......did a 5.28 mile road run and a 3.45 hill run in them and my feet felt better than any running shoe I have worn . I know they are not intended to be used strictly as road runners but they work for me and I am super excited about this shoe! That being said , I truly hope Altra can figure out how not to make so many changes to shoes that drew people to the brand to begin with. I almost gave up on them until I tried the Peak 6 and I'm so glad I did!

There will always be a pair in my closet! I run on all terrain and these keep up! Rain, mud, gravel and pavement no problem. Enjoying new tight laces and the softer boot bed, thanks ALTRA!

I used these while working on my feet all day and loved them but now that I'm thru-hiking the PCT, they are definitely my go to! The toe box width is AWESOME! And I love the color too!

Wide shoes THANK YOU !!! I walk (not run) in these shoes and they feel like I've been wearing them for months, not days. They are extremely comfortable and perfect arch support. Very happy with them!

Avid Altra fan for 12 years but Unfortunately been disappointed with their changes to all shoes in past 5 years. However, These 6s are an upgrade to the 5s. These are actually true to size. I'm a size 10 in all shoes and my 5s felt too small for a 10 last year, but these 6s in a 10 still give the perfect amount of room at end of big toe for trail running. The arch support feels better in these than last year. The outside looks more sleek and love the navy color which is more on a greyscale blue.

Been a fan of the Lone Peaks for my trail runs and they never fail!

I am so happy with these shoes. I have had many compliments on them and my feet feel good after wearing them. They don't squeeze my toes at all.

I love this brand of shoes. My physical therapist recommended them a year agothis is my 5th pair. I have a "home" pair, a nicer pair, a pair in a different color. Then the hiking boots, the same. 2 colors. My feet don't hurt at the end of the day. I notice now that my other shoes press on the toe with the bone spur and it hurts after a short time, not with these. It takes some getting used to because of the different shape to the toe box, but looks aside, comfort is key.

I run on trails almost every day. Some are sandy, some are rocky, some are muddy. I haven't had a pair of Lone Peaks for several years. I have been running in Superiors, but decided I needed more cushioning. I'm glad I gave these a try. Really liking them.

This is a great shoe. Wide toe box, foot shaped and zero drop. I am in heaven.

This shoe is the first hiking shoe I have ever purchased. It was shocking how all the little details came together to make this a really solid shoe. Grabby, supportive, wide toe box. I love them.

This will be my new go-to hiking shoe. Hoping to buy another pair this summer.

I've been wearing Lone Peaks since 1.5 version. There have been some hiccups along the versions and I've strayed after version 4. Ordered LP6 because of the peach color, yes I can't believe it but, I actually ordered a trail shoe because I thought it was pretty! Right out of the box and on my skinny "banana feet" I was in love again! (I wish they made the Olympus for my narrow feet - that's a hint!) Okay, back to LP reviewThe cushioning and the lighter weight had me running on clouds. I will write another review on durability after I beat these things up on the mountain trails soonbut for now, these things are a pretty sweet ride and I'm stocking up a a second pair!
