Love these shoes. Bought a second pair immediately in case they change the model next year. That’s how much I love this shoe. I am 75, active walker, retired runner with good sized bunions. My feet are very happy with these feet-shaped shoes. My bunions are probably resulting from too many years wearing pointy toe shoes, especially High heels. So I am thankful for finding these wonderful shoes. Note that the width on these shoes are not the only thing that is generous. The size is also generous and I had to go a size smaller and there is still lots of room for shocks. Highly recommend these shoes nj this brand.

Love this shoe and my feet love it too! I have bad bunions and these shoes let my toes spread out. Purchased the D-wide and went down a size from my normal walking shoe size. Love the blue color and the springy sole. Highly recommend for folks with bunions. (I am 75 with over 40 years running and wearing high heels (not together, of course).

Altra Lone Peak sneakers are fabulous; lightweight, support the foot and do not need breaking in. They work well with or without orthotics. The best part is the wide box that doesn't squeeze your toes. I now own 5 pair--3 pair I only use in the garden since I wore them so much they look a bit less than stellar for being seen in public, so to speak. My 2 new pair look beautiful. The coral and blue colors are lovely! Great shoes...

these are amazingly comfortable.

These shoes feel awesome right out of the box! I went for a long walk and enjoyed every step. This is my second pair of Lone Peaks and won't be my last.

Very pleased with my latest Altras. This is my second pair of Lone Peak 6 purchased to alternate with another pair.

It took a minute to get used to these shoes because I am not used to my feet doing so much work. My chiropractor recommended that I find shoes with a wider toe box and a more "barefoot" design to strengthen my arches, and these absolutely fit the bill. After maybe 10 minutes of walking the shoes felt super comfortable and I got used to being able to feel the terrain. I can tell my foot and calf muscles were working, and I really think these will be good for me in the long run. I wish the shoelaces were a little longer so I could double knot them, but that's an easy fix.

I wear a 10 and this was a true 10 but....I have a very narrow foot. I was hoping these would fit but the toe box could not be cinched tight enough to keep my foot from sliding around. Exchanging for a 10AA in propet. I loved how these felt on though. So cushiony and comfy. Darn it!

I have been wearing Altra Lone Peak 5 for about a year, and their cushioning is nearing the end of its life. I ordered a new pair. I loved the color choice (teal accents on black) and figured model 6 was more recent than 5, although I couldn't find any information on it. Altra makes shoes that cradle your feet in softness and give your toes a lot of room, which is wonderful. I think it's a factor of the 6 being brand new and a little less slouchy than my 5s, but they feel a tiny bit smaller. I wore them on a 45-minute street walk, and they weren't uncomfortable, so I believe they're not really smaller, they just need to be softened up a little.

Really love these shoes. Have had Altras since the first version and I describe them as trail slippers. The go everywhere’s and be super comfortable shoes.
