This is a lined, lightweight windbreaker jacket that fits almost like a petite or kids'. It's on the short side and the sleeves are just long enough but almost too short. I'm 5'10" 155lbs and ordered an XL. A large definitely would have been too short for me, and it's a bit too wide and boxy for me, though I don't mind the width because I wear a sweatshirt underneath. Another design flaw in my opinion is that there is only one draw string around the bottom which you can only tighten on one side so it's scrunched on the right and not tight enough on the left even when I try to pull fabric over to the left. It looks bad when you need to tighten it, which I do since it's a bit too large for me.

I didn't like the fit of this jacket as well as the Alta Vista so I returned it. The pockets were awkward.

Arms are short, it doesn't cover you from the cold weather.

I was soaked all the way through two layers after an hour the first time I wore this jacket in rainy conditions. Disappointed

The blue was a nice color, and I liked the hood. Unfortunately, the bottom part was tighter and not shaped like the website description. Had to return. Very thin as well.

Let's start with a positive: this jacket was warm!! I loved the color but really did not like the fit so I ended up returning it. It was narrow in the shoulders which made it uncomfy to move around/the sleeves would come up if I did. Even though the shoulders were narrow it still came out at the hips giving me a sort of triangle shape. I bought a size medium for more room (I have a size small in my other raincoat) and I would've had to size up to have more comfort in the shoulders. The biggest reason why I returned it is because of the hood. It was way too small! It fit just around and over my head but if I had actually worn it in the rain my face, the front of my hair, and any glasses would have gotten soaked!! Most other raincoats have bigger hoods and a little brim to keep the rain from getting in your eyes. If you want to actually have coverage, be comfy, and stay dry I would not recommend this product.

I love the style and fit of this jacket. It runs slightly large, which makes it ideal to wear over a sweater or sweatshirt. However, it will NOT keep you dry during moderate/heavy rain. In fact, my t-shirt got completely soaked while I was wearing this jacket fully zipped up. It might be good for light rain, but for moderate/heavy rain, don't buy this.

I purchased these jackets for my grand daughters and they never received them, I tracked them as far as Charlotte, N.C. and they never go to them at their college, Queens University.

My grand daughters never got them.

There wasn't a single thing I liked about this jacket I have purchased three of these in the past, and the quality of this item was poor, it lacked several of the features of the previous jackets. I would send it back, but I don't know how to do that.

My daughter bought one of these in April and wore it for a charity walk yesterday. The rain wasn't particularly bad but she was absolutely soaked through. Looks like more of a fashion item, no purpose

The jacket seams and fabric looks nice and comfortable however since I received it and opened it have lose nylon all over the zipper area it looks cheap and not the level of quality I was expecting. I purchased this jacket for a trip to Europe and I don't trust on taking it.

First, LOVE North Face products. Did not love this one. Sleeves were too short, pockets too high. Did not feel as quality as my previous jacket owned for 10 years. Returned this for the "Alta Vista" raincoat. Far superior, worth extra cost. Hope to own it another 10 years.

I returned this product because it did not have the features previous versions of this product had. No under arm vents. No Velcro arm adjustments. Difficult access to pockets.

Bad zip

Defective! I love my raincoat however it arrived with a hole in it before I could even wear it! Extremely disappointed. I have brought a few jackets before and never received one defective. This is the first raincoat I brought from TNF and I'm now wondering is it the quality of the material of their raincoats. Having a hole in a raincoat is concerning because the water repellant and water proof technology will effect the entire coat. Customer service directed me to the warranty department so we will see how that goes.

I don't know why they keep changing sizing. This is beyond short in the arms and short in the torso aswell. I'm a true small and this is more of an XS than a small. Unimpressed

This product is extremely tight in the shoulders. Size up if you plan to wear a sweatshirt under. I also returned this product and never heard back!
