Mittens are nice but the hat is an odd fit. It's boxy and the chin strap bothers my child.

The 2-4T hat BARELY fits my 19 month old! It's already so tight. The mittens however are HUGE! Sizing is horrible, unfortunately will have to send back becauS it's too expensive to wear for just a few months.

Bought the 12-24 (for 14mos daughter) and 2-4T (for 2 year old daughter) and we could barely get the hat on our 2 year old. Very odd that this is supposed to fit a 4T toddler. She doesn't even have a ton of hair or anything. 12-24mos size is perfect for #2

I like the quality but the fit is not true to fit 2-4T my toddler is an average 2.5 year old and the hat was snug, it probably won't last more than one season.

Beautiful quality but the size was a little off. Very tight on my grandson's head and he's undersized. Warm and cozy though, and very well made.

Too small. My 7 month old has a 70th % head. This did NOT fit. Had to return it.

Hat and gloves seemed to be very warmif they fit. Hat itself just had a weird shape. Barely fit on my 20 month old kids head and I bought the 2-4 yo size. May just be her head though? I would definitely size up.

Super warm, nicely made but the sizing is off. The mittens fit my 15 month old granddaughter But the hat is Way too tinyNot even close to being able to fasten it under her chin and she's not a big kid!! Disappointing.

I have a similar hat for my daughter that was purchased a few years ago. The materials for this hat and mittens do not seem to be as nice quality. I would not have purchased them if I had seen them in person.

I bought this item in November when my son was 16 months old. At that time, the hat was tight on him. And the close is odd/annoying on the chin. Putting on the gloves has proven to be quite challenging. Now that it's very cold outside and he really needs the hat and gloves, I regret not sending them back. I expected that buying size 2-4T would last for a few years. The gloves should open up and have a Velcro closure for easier use.

The sizing is not great. The gloves fit fine, but the hat is too small for my 17mo as others have said. There is no stretch to it. I'm disappointed.

Bought for a middle of the curve just turned 3 year old. The gloves are a little large on her hands but fit and are so soft and fuzzy. But unfortunately the hat squeezes her little head enough that I can tell when I put it on and she complains about it. Bummer because we need this cold weather gear in the East and this is the largest size! Would love to see more flexibility in the hat size since the gloves she will have room to grow.

2T-4T size doesn't fit the head of my 16 months old. Nice quality, cute design. Just disappointed. Not enough stretch in the material to fit head ranges for those ages.

The hat is adorable and warm for my 6 month old grandson. The mittens are so small I can't begin to get them on. It would be a perfect set if the mittens were functional.

I bought two of these for my 1.5 year olds twins. They have big heads - 98th percentile - so I bought the 2T-4T size. The quality was great - soft and cozy. But the hats were way too small. I managed to squeeze one head into a hat, but the chin strap fastened over his mouth, not under his chin. I would have kept them but they were just too small, even with sizing up.

I purchased the 2T-4T for my 2 year old son with a head in the 26th percentile, and the hat is too small. It's too bad he can't wear it because the hat is nice otherwise.

Loved the warmth - but sizing is off - couldn't get my 5 mo old hand into the mitten - opening was too small and tight - Hat also fit small - strap under chin was an awkward fit

Size 6-12 months but is way too small for our 8 month old (both the hat and mittens) and we don't have that big of a baby

I ordered two of these in size 2-4T for my 2.5 year old. They are super cute but run WAY too small. We could just barely get the hat on his head. I thought- this is a 2-4?!? Too bad bc I otherwise liked it. LLBean- you should do better trial testing for this sizing.

The hat and gloves are really cute and cozy, but the hat barely fits my 20 month old daughter's head (her head is average size). I was hoping there would be room to grow into this one. I ordered the 2T - 4T size. Quality is really nice, but size runs small.

Very cute warm hat and mittens but EXTREMELY SMALL! The hat size reads 2T-4T. We have a grandaughter who just turned two and wears 2T. The hat couldn't fit on her head! We were very disappointed.

This product is well made and runs small. It contains fire retardants. If you still choose to buy it, make sure to wash before putting it on your child. I did not know until after receiving the item.

Runs too small and already took off the tags so I can't even return them
