Perfect for our 6 month old! He has the hat worn a few times on chilly October mornings and we will get daily use out of both the hat and the gloves over the next six months through winter. Cozy, soft, and easy to wash. True to size. We'd buy again!

LL Bean always knows exactly how and what a clothing design needs! This hat and mitten set is of LL Bean quality (nothing more to be said on that matter) and the velcro strap prevents you having to constantly fixing your childs hat.

Super soft and warm, and the velcro fastener under the chin keeps the hat on the baby's head. I ordered the toddler size for my 7-month old because he has a big head and I'm glad I did. The baby size would not have fit on that giant dome.

This hat is very warm and is hard to take off! It is actually fits my toddlers larger head which is so nice!

Our grandson loves the hat!! This is one hat that he doesn't try to take off. It might be because of how soft the hat is. He has several winter hats, but when he gets to choose what hat he wants to wear, he always chooses this one! More importantly, it does keep his head warm!

Love that hat and mittens. Super warm and cozy. Hat runs a little small for my 13 month old boy. Will be able to make it through the end of the season. But a little tight.

This hat is perfect for my 15 month old! Stay on well with the chin strap and keeps her nice and warm. We don't use the mittens much because she can pull them off easily.

Great hat for infant/toddler. My son is 12 months and is fitting into the 2T-4T, although his head is larger than average for his age. It stays on nicely, keeps his cheeks warm. It also covers the back of his neck. Haven't used the mittens yet, but they seem like they will be be just as nice.
