These slippers are adorable but the foot opening is way too small and literally impossible to get on the child's feet. I'm very disappointed because now I have to spend money to return these.

The hole in these to put your kids foot in is SO SMALL and has NO stretch I could not get my daughters feet into them at all (even tho they were big looking when you put her feet up to them). I'm used to this with my son who has very tall feet, but my daughter has never had issues around this before.

Just received these in the mail. We didn't even try on. They have a terrible nail polish type of smell. Will be returning for something more eco friendly.

I purchased these cute slippers for my toddler as a Christmas present. They have only been worn for a few weeks and the fabric has already ripped and pilled on both slippers. Not the quality that I would expect from an L.L. Bean product.

I ordered three pairs of these slippers for my mother to give to her great-grandchildren for gifts. While they are very cute, they are next to impossible to put on their feet. The little ones ended up protesting whenever someone tried to squeeze their feet into the slippers. I know the goal is likely to keep them on and in place, but they're just too difficult to put on in the first place. Once on, the slippers fit properly although did roll a little when they walked. I'm guessing that they'll never be worn so this purchase was a waste of money.

We have been long time lovers of LL Bean slippers for adults and the kiddos, but this year I bought the fun animal slippers for our kids instead of the normal fleece and that was a big mistake. Within 2 HOURS, the sections of the slippers with felt on them was all pilled up and looked AWFUL. I stand behind the normal fleece ones, but don't waste your money on the cute animal ones...terrible.

I love LL Bean fleece slippers for my 2 boys. I usually buy them a bit large and they last for 2 years. NOT THESE!!!! Santa gave the dog slippers to my 5 year old and while he loved them (even named each of them), after 1 month there are HOLES in BOTH of the slippers. The fur has even fallen off the side of one slipper. He only wears them inside and doesn't abuse them. I was so disappointed since I expected they would last a long time given past experience with LL Bean slippers. My son doesn't have any trouble putting the slippers on (unlike other reviewers#. Unfortunately, after 2 months, they will be heading for the trash. #He'll be so sad.) I'm now ordering a pair of fleece slippers for him.

These slippers are deceiving. They look super cute and seem to be made well, but they are junk. Both of my children wore them for a few weeks and the toes wore through. They were never worn outside or abused in any way. I figured it was odd for LLBean items, so we tried a 2nd pair, the same thing happened. Trust me, these do NOT hold up.

I wanted these to fit so badly!! I bought them for my soon to be 3 yr old. We had such a hard time getting them on because the opening is too small. His foot didn't slip in easily, and it was actually a struggle. I sadly had to return them.

Unfortunately, I have to return the slippers. They are too tight around the ankles and haven't loosened even with attempts to stretch. My 4 yr old nephew actually hid the slippers ran than wear them to "Polar Express Day" at Pre-K because they hurt his ankles.

I have been a loyal LLBean shopper for me and my husband for a few years and just started purchasing items for my twin girls aged 2.5 years from LLBean. I was extremely disappointed in the slippers I purchased (one bunny and one lamb) online. They came wrapped in plastic and had a terrible plastic odor - perhaps from the non-skid plastic bottom. The bunny slippers were tight around the ankle, a design flaw that wasn't present in the lamb slippers. Neither slipper was true to the size range. I plan to return them both.

** These slippers are aweful....They are too big and clumsy for a toddler. The rubber on the bottom of the soles, are too thick and my grandson tripped a lot when he tried these out. Also, the knitted ankle part is so awkward that you can't even get these slippers on a squirming 2 yr old...BAD DESIGN!! I Purchased several pairs of the previous design of these animal slippers, which were so much better...they were AWESOME!!! THE PEVIOUS VERSION OF THESE SLIPPERS, KEPT THE PJ BOTTOMS OFF THE FLOOR ( if the pj bottoms are a little too long for the toddler), and kept them from tripping on the pj bottoms... They were also, better made with the suede bottom (like the fleece slippers), which is less bulky and lighter weight for a toddler to walk in. BRING BACK THE PREVIOUS VERSION OF THESE ANIMAL SLIPPERS FOR TODDLERS!!! THEY WERE ALOT BETTER THEN THESE SLIPPERS!!!!

I have to agree with previous reviewers: these slippers are cute but the quality is terrible. My daughter liked the lamby slippers and kept them on for a while (despite the pretty warm day), but they were too large (they run true to size, so there was no need for me to go up one size) and she finally took them off. One inside seam had already failed! just after a couple of hours and very gentle 'play'. The slippers ran large, so I don't think my daughter stretched them too much in order to put them on. Needless to say I returned them. It's a pity though: they are cute and seem warm. Please LLBean: make these slippers of a better quality. They are not cheap..

I'm a frequent Bean Shopper and I have only purchased our family slippers through Bean. Unfortunately these fell apart 4 times! No joke. I purchased 2 pair of the bunny slippers for my twin girls. Within a couple of days the pink fur came off the slipper and the inside sole fell apart. My husband returned them 4 times and each time that we received a new pair, the same thing occurred. My girls only wore them in the house, we have carpeting. With our last return, we just got our money back. We will not purchase these again. If you purchase these, watch for them to fall apart and not hold up at all.

My 2.5 year old son received these for Christmas, and here it is April and they will be thrown away. It's been a long while since his slippers looked as nice as pictured. The tan felt (he has the bear style) was terrible and balled up beyond belief and the toe construction has come apart and separated. They aren't small on him, so i'm not sure why they've fallen apart.

While these slippers are super cute they only lasted < 2 weeks before the sole fell off completely. I've since returned them for another pair (bunnies) and they are heading in the same direction. Pity since my daughter loves them...

Since my granddaughter loves cats, I was excited to give these slippers to her for Christmas but, unfortunately, they did not fit, much to her disappointment and mine. I ordered her normal shoe size but the slippers were much too small and there was a tight fit where the kitty head was located. I plan to return them.

Normally, we love LLBean items, but these slippers were simply too difficult to get on my toddler's feet so we sent them back. Cute, but didn't work well for us.

Do not waste your $ on the bear. At least 10 other reviewers have been disappointed by the bear animal paws slippers as well. The bear faces wore off and ripped from the soles. The rubber bottoms and fur are like new, but the felt bottoms and felt bear face/muzzle are totally gone in places and the foam has split open. Not the quality you expect from LL Bean! Sad because they are so cute and my son really wants another pair. We exchanged for the fleece slippers.

We recieved these slippers as a gift for 1 year old son. Initially, we loved the furry animal and traction on the bottom. Unfortuntely, the slippers started to fall apart within 1 month of use. At first, the front fabric started to breakdown. By 2 months, the whole front end of the slipper separated (sole from the padding). Very disappointed with these slippers--we expect better quality from LL Bean.

We ordered the bear slippers for our 2 year old son. They are incredibly cute and he loved them but the bear's face started rubbing off after two weeks. The bear's face is made from felt which I don't think is the correct fabric for such a high use area. The bunnies or other animals that don't use felt for the face may be just fine. I am returning them and have already ordered the fleece slippers which we love!
