I ordered them instead of the regular fleece slippers because the size I needed was sold out. My younger's slippers (also size 5-6) were worn out and they become slippery on our floor, so he needed new ones. We love fleece slippers - both my boys wear only LL Bean slippers and they are very comfortable. But apparently those animal slippers are wider and they don't fit my son's feet. No matter how many times I try to fix them they always move on his foot and it doesn't look comfortable for him. He doesn't have problems like that with any other shoes... I'm not saying they are bad but they are definitely for kids with wider feet. They look super cute though!

Adorable but difficult for my grandchildren to get on without assistance. It has a very short sock top that's awkward and challenging for small hands. Otherwise the children loved them!

I put these on my 2 year old grandson and he said they were too tight. He turned 2 in October and he wears a size 6 shoe so I figured these would fit. I guess they run small. I am guessing it might be the band around the top...I had to really stretch it out to get the slipper on.

I bought these shoes for my son and the sock attached to the shoe is too narrow. For a parent, i think its too tight, but i guess its a sure way for the shoe to remain on my sons foot.
Another observation is that the sock is too tight that it leaves a mark on my sons foot.

this is a great little house slipper EXCEPT for one thing:too much hassle and time to get on; not worth the effort. My great-grandchild cried every time we attempted to put these on. Decided to return.

This is a nice slipper, and I wanted one that would not fall off, when climbing the ladder to the loft. However, the opening is so small that she can not get them on without an epic struggle. Maybe very narrow feet would make it easier, but this slipper does not fit her average foot.

These slippers are very cute and well constructed, but the design was such that it was next to impossible for me to even get them on my children's feet, much less for them to do it themselves. We got both the moose and yellow dog and they both had the same problem. I think the hole to slide the foot in is in the wrong place. Unfortunately we're returning them.

I bought these slippers in the past for my older son, and we all loved them. When our second got to cruising/walking, - she was size 4 at the time, - I got her a pair in size 3/4. That worked perfectly. But she grew out of that size, and I got her slippers in size 5/6. The left one was fine, but the right slipper kept turning around towards the inside of her foot within a couple of steps and would fall off completely after a few minutes (and could trip her in between, too). I thought there was a defect in that particular pair and got another one - still the same problem. The slippers are really big, and most importantly, very wide on her. And she, being a relatively new walker, might be putting her foot funny or something... In any case, I had to put these away for the time being and look for another alternative. Very disappointing... I was really looking forward to having her wear these otherwise great slippers.

Bought the bunny slippers and the lamb slippers. Both sets are adorable however, the bunnies started "shedding" immediately and already look pretty worn. I would have sent them back but my daughter fell in love with them. The lambs have a more resilient "fur" and even though they are white, I think they will wear better. I ordered a size up in each so they had room to grow. Seems like that was a good idea as they are not too big. Hope this helps!

I bought these one size up for my son and they barely fit him. They are also very narrow and have very little give. I think I will be returning them.

The slippers are cute but they're a little hard to put on. The actual animal head seems a little big (as in out or proportion) to my toddler's foot. I do like the rubber sole bottom, keeps them from slipping and sliding.

I got the pink bunny slippers for my 18 mo old. I think they're cute, but the pink is kinda dingy pink, not a true pink. When I saw them online, they looked more like a true soft pink. They are also hard to get on and right now they're a bit too big for her, so she can slip them off easily. The price is really good.

I didn't open them before giving them to my grand daughter. She had seen them and really wanted them and loves them. Unfortunately one ear was not there. It looked like it had never been there but she didn't mind. I'm going to call and try to get a replacement though.

I was disappointed with these slippers for my daughter after having owned 2 pairs of adult L.L. Bean slippers that are wonderful. I unfortunately found them too narrow and clunky on the bottom. They were not comfortable on my daughter's feet which was surprising because everything else I've ever ordered from L.L.Bean has always exceeded my expectations. Fortunately, this company handles returns with the utmost integrity! At the very least, the slippers were very cute so hopefully the design can be improved.

This is a great slipper- made very well, durable, GREAT sole on the bottom, washes up well but it is terribly difficult to get on a foot. I suspect it would stay on really well if I could just get the slipper on. It is plenty large in size but the cuff around the ankle makes this task quite difficult.

These slippers are completely adorable, but I find them pretty difficult to get onto a squirming toddler. Also, when I stick my hand inside the slipper, the seam around the base of the sole feels really prominent, which seems like it could be a comfort issue. My kid refuses to wear them, but I think it's just because she's a toddler.

My 3-year-old wears these at night and on weekends and it takes only 3-4 months for the toes to wear down and separate from the sole. He loves them, so I'll keep buying them, but I'm pretty disappointed in how quickly they disintegrate.

my granddaughter didn't like them because they weren't pink or purple but the bunnies etc. were sold out, I guess they are very "boy" looking. Also if your child isn't used to walking on the non skid "bumps" on the bottom they may not like that. Otherwise they're very warm & stay on good and aren't too hard to get on.

I bought the skunks for my son a year ago. I was excited when I saw them, they're very cute, look comfortable, & have rubber grips on the soles. However, my 3 yr old refuses to wear them. I forced them on him 3 times, made him wear them around for 15 minutes, then he immediately takes them off. I don't know if it's the slipper or simply a 3 yr old doing what he does best. Our play room has a tile floor & when other kids come over to play they wear the slippers & love them.

We ordered the bear slippers for my 1 year old son. They are very cute and look super warm. My only complaint is that they are not for chubby feet. I think his feet would fit inside if we could get them through the opening. It is just too narrow for a wide foot. If you have a smaller foot child these would be great.

This year I'm disappointed with the quality of these slippers. In the past, these slippers were great and held up for a whole winter season. This year, I had to buy 2 pairs for each of my kiddos and they still didn't last through the whole winter. What happened was that the rubber bottom of the slippers started coming out via the front of the foot as the toes got worn down. To improve this slipper, reinforcement needs to be placed near the toe of the slipper. Otherwise, the grippies on the bottom of the shoe are great and they are super warm.

These slippers are cute but they are not as good as the original LL Bean slippers of 2007. At the right size, they were too tight for my older daughter's wider feet. They were also too heavy for my 1 1/2 year old's feet and made her walk pigeon toed.

My 4-year old got these slippers for his birthday. They run small, so even though he's in size 9 shoes usually, he needed the 11-12 size. The slippers are super cute, and he loves them, but they are really annoying to put on. He's unable to do it himself, since the foot holes are small but flimsy -- and this is a kid who has no problem putting on his own shoes, boots, etc.

My granddaughter loved them but they were too small. She wears a size 9 so I thought 9/10 would work.
