If you're looking for a lightweight full brim hat, this might be a great choice. It seems light weight yet secure, very comfortable, plenty of ventilation and works well.

I have loved using my hat on my New Zealand hiking trip. The strap keeps on hat on when it's windy and the brim is perfect for protecting my face from the sun.

My wife and I had a similar pair for years. We decided to buy identical ones but in different sizes according to the TNF size chart. It fit perfectly. I brought it to Brazil and tested it on hot days. It protected my face very well from the sun's rays. I recommend it to anyone who likes this style.

I use this comfortable, light weight brimmed hat everywhere. It's incredibly helpful in keeping the sun at bay during walks, hikes etc. really easy to clean.

Love this hat. Flattering to my face and stays on in high wind. I have 2 dune beige, 2 green and one in the blue/navy. Will keep buying them if you keep adding colors!

I have searched for the widest brim hat with a chin strap for my active lifestyle and this is a WINNER!
I have several of them so they are always ready for action at pool, garden, walking/hiking I swim with children in pool and it's great for soaking wet sun coverage.
Last year North Face offered optic white, but this year only cream. (White - optic white - is much better color, especially for summer!)
