Good Material, but runs small.

The fit of the hat is really nice and comfy, it blocks the sun in all the right places and I especially like how you can adjust the flaps on the top for air flow or coverage. The hat is a bit stiff but really nice fit overall.

I liked this one. Was sturdy, just what I was looking for.

Serves it's function well as a sun shield but it is zero water proof or water resistant. Not intended as a rain hat i suppose... but I got caught in a heavy rain at WDW and found that out the hard way; poor me, poor poor pitiful wet me: sob sob

I like the vent system and wasn't expecting it to have it, it's a little big bad a very good purchase

Great hat, nice wide brim, no concerns on functionality. L/XL fits 7 5/8" with hair. Ordered Tin Grey thinking it'd be more whitish to reflect the sun/heat better, color is lighter grey.

Wish the brim was a little stiffer, otherwise love it.

Cool product, but I purchased it with the 40% of discount in the website and when I reviewed my credit card statement it was a surprise to see that the full price was discounted.

It's ugly I purchased one like it from Northface four years ago. Never found another like it.

Good hat

I'd rate this 3.5. I have the same size hat (s/m) in the womens horizon breeze hat, the version that can fit over a ponytail, and the horizon fits nice snug. This hat is a little loose of a fit on me despite ordering the same size. I have thin hair so I can fit it over my hair if it is up but someone else with thicker hair might not be able to in the small. I don't mind its a little roomier but I do wonder if I would like it more if it was a snug fit. I do wish the draw cord was removable but that's a small feature. Other than that I love the color. I got purple currant and its not too bright or pink, and is a darker purple like I wanted. Sometimes photos don't show colors well but this color matched the photo of the hat being worn. It still has wrinkles from being shipped but I hope with time those come out. I would hesitate to fold this hat up since it wrinkles easily.

I plan to use the Horizon Breeze Brimmer Hat for kayaking and hiking. I appreciate the quality but gave the hat 3 stars based on the fit. I have the S/M. The L/XL was too roomy. A M/L would be the best.

Too small, but good design

Brim was much bigger than expected based on picture

Brim was larger and more floppy than I wanted and bent easily leaving a crease which didn’t seem to make it ideal for packing. I did love the olive color

I loved everything about this hat except the brim. It was bent after shipping and flipped strangely, so as I planned to use this as a travel hat, I felt it wasn’t super packable.

The chin strap sits in front of the ears and is attached with an elastic that is tied to loops. Kinda strange I wish there was a way you could easily remove and put them back on and that made it look nicer.

The brim of the hat was wavy from the way it had been folded for transit, which I didn't like.

The overall material is thicker, the tightening string feels cheap and the logo is iron-sticked on instead of embroidered. Much prefer the old version

I would like to use for outdoors activities, but the standard size "M" doesn't fit on my head, I feel its size is reduced. I couldn't use it and I have to start the return process.

Not so fitting :(

The brim gives some sun protection, however the crown is a limp fabric with no shape. It falls flat when off your head and becomes wrinkled. You'll never look smart in this hat.

Purchased L/XL and it was still too small.

Like the hat but the strap that came w it was cheap compared to similar hat bought two years ago. Northface used to mean great quality. Not on this purchase!
