These are just the shoes my active 2 year old grandson needed

Our two year old grandson loves his trail hikers. He's ready to make trails.

Supportive and comfortable for our toddler. Held up well with water and puddles.

These were worn for the first time camping and my grandchild did great walking and playing. No blisters or hot spots! Wonderful hiking boot!

Absolutely perfect! I'd say these smaller sizes of proper hiking boots are pretty elusive, so we were grateful to find these. A size up was better for our daughter. They've performed great, seem well made and wash off easily. When the size was too small (her current size), we sized up and LL Bean shipped them out even before receiving the return at our request since we were leaving soon for a big trip. Great customer service that we appreciated!

Loved these so much, I think we had them in 3 different sizes. Perfect for my daughter to be able to put on and take off herself. Loved that they were perfectly waterproof, even submerged in cold water or used as snowboots, and had a fantastic grip for walking on slippery surfaces. My only complaint is that they run small and they don't make them in larger sizes! Sadly, we have now sized out of these, so we had to go with a different brand this year. Not many 4 or 5 year olds can tie their own shoes, please make velcro closures go up to size 12!

I was able to purchase a small size toddler hiking boot as a gift. I was happy so see red as a color to choose.

Stiff shank, knobby grip soles, heavy duty outers/uppers, and solid ankle support for a toddlers first boots. Made better than most Adult boots.

They great!! My granddaughter loves them. They are a bit heavy though.

A good little shoe. The best part is you can get them on. When you tell a little one to push their foot in nothing happens. You have to be able to open them enough. My almost 2 year old grandson walks good in them and doesn't fight me trying to put them on.

This is a great kid boot. They are easy to get on and my son loves them. We haven't tested the water proof capabilities yet, but I'm sure it's great. We will be buying another pair when he needs a bigger size. He's 17 months old and we bought a size 6. It's a bit on the big side, but he's a smaller toddler. I wish more people put this information!!

A perfect winter warm, waterproof shoe for our 3 YO. Highly recommend.

Easy to put on and take off. My 2 year old walks really easy in them and splashes in the streams on our hikes. Dry feet every time!

Switch from laces to Velcro was key! Perfect hiking toddler boot.

My toddler grew out of her first pair that was gifted to us! They are such an amazing boot! We do a ton of hiking and she does great in them! I ordered them a little big on purpose to make them last a little longer!

My daughter is 2.5 and loves when we go hiking. Last year she had a pair of Merrell hiking shoes, but I wanted to get her a more sturdy boot this year. My daughter is typically in a size 8 shoe right now, but I went ahead and got the size 9 with thick socks so that she could wear them longer. I would say they are true to size. I love that these boots are waterproof because she loves going into creeks on hikes. The boots are great quality, a great color, and very easy to get on and off because they have velcro straps. I would highly recommend.

Even though the boot is a little big for my grandson, he loves wearing them and oftentimes will refuse to take them off.

I got these for my grandson, who was visiting from a southern state. He seemed to love them-- that is he wanted to wear them and he kept them on. And, for a two-year-old, that says it all!

My son was never a fan of shoes, crazy toddler, until we got him these hiking boots. He absolutely loves them and loves that he can walk through puddles with them. They are small and low, so the waterproofing only goes so far. There have been times when the water goes over the top of the boot. The sole is bulletproof and rugged. These shoes are great if you can afford $60 toddler boots; we are fortunate. I was asked to speak to the size of these shoes and be honest, who knows... they fit, and my son loves them. I can only assume they are true to size and wide enough. It would be great if LL Bean had a worn wear program since these shoes will surely be in great shape for the next 2-3 toddlers.
