Bought the jacket and overall was very impressed with the jacket. The jacket is lightweight and breathable. The construction and zipper is always on point when it comes to North face. The jacket is not meant to be extremely warm so I would bundle up and layer this jacket on the outside for those extremely cold days. I would suggest taking a look at the triclimate version which has the same design but with an extra layer underneath. I would recommend this jacket for anyone who is looking for a stylish wind/water proof jacket.

Due to an unusual heavy rainy season in SoCal, i needed a waterproof jacket and this seemed ideal. it worked good but it wasn't under the extreme weather we had been having, it wasn't raining as strong by the time it arrived. The color is not the best, but it makes it affordable; crazy how color can make the price change.

So I purchased and returned this jacket due to it not quite satisfying my needs. But I was taking a chance. I was looking for a skiing shell for warm, wet weather and wanted to get my hands on a coat that would fit that mold. I've previously used a competitors coat (which is a raincoat) and it was somewhat effective. So I took a chance on this one hoping it was a little more hearty. As soon as I took it out of the package, I knew it was almost identical in basic construction to my current option, so I decided to send it back. Overall feel and fit were great, so I would consider this one in the future should I need a new rain specific jacket.

Great jacket, like the style and color. Only dislikes were the sleeve cuffs (elastic and bunched instead of straight velcro adjustable). Had to return due to fit - too short in the sleeves for 6'4".

Quality is great, waterproof functionality works well. Expected it to be a bit warmer but does well in 45 F and above

I live in the mid-Atlantic and this jacket has been my go-to for the past month as the winter here has been rather mild thus far. I especially love the position of the pockets as they have been designed to be higher and deeper than previous iterations. I was able to get my particular one for $99 + tax which was an absolute steal! Thank you North Face for making this fantastic product which I know will last me well into the 2030s.

This is a really great lightweight jacket. It is marketed as a rain jacket. You can also wear this as a substitute for say a hooded sweatshirt type layer of warmth. Very stylish and functional jacket. I liked it so much I bought one in blue and one in the light green/yellowish

A little more "plasticy" and bulkier than I thought it would be. Not really packable though I'm sure you can just jam it in your pack. Wore this in several downpours and stayed completely dry. Not sure I like the elastic cuffs vs a Velcro style. I might look towards the Alta Vista.

Fits very well and is well made. Good weight for travel purposes and folds up to take up very little room

This jacket does the job and will keep you dry. It's light weight, non bulky however you might want to layer up because it does not keep you that warm.

Bought this for my 15 year old grandson! It was a hit. He's so cool

This is the 2nd jacket that I have purchased for my son. It is a great light weight rain jacket. He specifically asked for the same jacket for Christmas, just a different size.

We live in Knoxville, just north of the Smoky Mountains, so we hike a lot. This jacket is perfect for layering & packing. Super lightweight, windproof & waterproof. I've had other Northface jackets and had to return the Large size of this model and get the XL instead. The XL fits absolutely perfect. Can't wait to use it!!

I love this jacket so comfy can resist wearing it all day long.
