Needed a water proof jacket for college, and this sweater was the top choice. Price wise it may seem like much, but it does an amazing job at repelling water! Tanking the rain has never been so fun, though i do recommend getting pants that match the situation ( water will bounce right off onto them, so maybe something water resistant too?)

Bought this for my boyfriend and he loved it! It was a perfect fit and the jacket is lightweight so it's a good layering jacket. It does keep him warm still too which is nice!

Nice and fits nice

Excellent waterproofing for rain or snow alongside lightweight construction. My only issue is that it doesn't compress down into a pocket like some other rain jackets.

Got it just in time for the big rainy season that hit SoCal and it's perfect. Fits just right and keep me warm enough to not need a sweater underneath. Protects me from the rain just as expected and looks great on me.

So I purchased and returned this jacket due to it not quite satisfying my needs. But I was taking a chance. I was looking for a skiing shell for warm, wet weather and wanted to get my hands on a coat that would fit that mold. I've previously used a competitors coat (which is a raincoat) and it was somewhat effective. So I took a chance on this one hoping it was a little more hearty. As soon as I took it out of the package, I knew it was almost identical in basic construction to my current option, so I decided to send it back. Overall feel and fit were great, so I would consider this one in the future should I need a new rain specific jacket.

I live in the mid-Atlantic and this jacket has been my go-to for the past month as the winter here has been rather mild thus far. I especially love the position of the pockets as they have been designed to be higher and deeper than previous iterations. I was able to get my particular one for $99 + tax which was an absolute steal! Thank you North Face for making this fantastic product which I know will last me well into the 2030s.

Great wind and rain jacket. Fits great and the hood fits well to keep you dry. This is third generation Ive had of this jacket and it keeps getting better.

This is a really great lightweight jacket. It is marketed as a rain jacket. You can also wear this as a substitute for say a hooded sweatshirt type layer of warmth. Very stylish and functional jacket. I liked it so much I bought one in blue and one in the light green/yellowish
